I've used shiply many times and its a great concept but my biggest problem with it is the lack of flexibility and editing in the advert, especially in the headings. This makes it hard to be specific in the advert to help avoid generic quotes and endless rounds of message to explain what you need done, when it ought to be clear from the advert. I found myself having to explain basics like dates and contents. As a consequence many of the offers are generic and wild guesses, when just allowing all the info in the ad would avoid this. For example - Title of ad should be open Text and fully editable so you can summarize the Job and make sure quotes are accurate alongside Job type. If Job Date is fixed, it should be obvious to all (Many offers kept asking for the date despite it being entered correctly). You must allow uploading of multiple Photos and a Word or Excel files for full inventory on House moves. Item list on House moves needs greater flexibility too..
Get the best price for delivery or pick up of any items large or small. People bid to give you the best price. Brilliant. I've used them a couple of times now and will use them again.

Amazing service. Arrived nice and early. Helped load and unload even gave me a lift to the destination and friendly service all the way from pickup to destination. I will be using again in future - it is rare to find a well priced, professional service these days and with only an hour for my lunch break - they had everything done within 30 minutes. 100% recommended - I am leaving long detailed feedback because compared to the other feedback I have seen - I 100% believe this transport service communicates and looks after you the entire way. That is what I saw today - thank you.

I've always used the better-rated couriers on Shiply who haven't necessarily been cheapest but they've had lots of positive feedback. I guess, as a result my experiences have been good. You have to understand how Shiply works - it's a portal which allows couriers on a "dutch auction" basis for a job. Not all men with vans are as reliable as each other or drive the same van! As with all things cheapest doesn't necessarily mean best - but you pay for what you get.
Very nice courier aggregator site, so easy to log a job request, and the responses flood in quick quick.
After initial apprehension in using the site to transport a car leather interior from South Wales to Lancashire I found the whole process trouble free, well communicated and promptly delivered by polite drivers who had delivered the interior without a mark on it. Kerp up the good work!
Loads of vans drive around with spare capacity - Shiply links the white van man with somebody who needs something moved. Why didn't I think of this!
