I used their service to find a transport partner, who they verified and then that person stole my money, did not provide the service and now I have not been refunded. They are a fraud and a scam! Don't use them!

The shipper that Shiply provided, never showed up. I spoke to the agent directly before I gave my deposit, and he guaranteed that our material would be picked up on our date. Nobody called, nobody showed up, and my order was delayed. I spent half of the day trying to get answers and Shiply was useless.

I use this company to pick up on automobile I bought next to San Francisco and deliver to my residence they asked for a deposit took my deposit I contact them so we could get details and time that they had to pick up car was never picked up they started ignoring my emails they kept my deposit and they won't return back any emails I'm sending them very bad business be aware of scammers don't use this company for auto transportation they will scam you out of your money and not return your emails beware beware beware

I accepted a quote from a mover. After accepting and paying a deposit, the mover asked for all of the remaining funds up front (before he moved anything). I tried canceling but the mover refused. Shiply stepped in by offering to relist my quote, but I already had a different mover. Now, they're ignoring my request for a refund. Don't risk working with this company.

Their online platform for generating quotes is very buggy so I forwarded the specifics of my shipment directly to their email. Here is the response:

"Please try to book the delivery request either on a different web browser or a different device.
Should the issue persists, kindly send us a screenshot of the error you're encountering so we can assist you further".

How asinine a reply. Even though they have all of the information to input they rather go back and forth with emails and screenshots instead of simply taking care of this themselves. Tells you everything you need to know about the company...sad.

Complete scam

Took a deposit. Two in fact totaling 415.00 then refused to confirm pick-up date, send a contract. Said their phones were down but didn't reply to emails. Now I have to place a claim with pay-pal.
Do not send them any money unless through pay-pal and you have a firm contract.

After paying one of their approved online shippers, Shiply now explains they are a NEUTRAL party that just collects a deposit for bringing you and the shipper together. My shipper had high ratings but was completely ILLEGITIMATE and now has 20 bad ratings... too late money already sent to him seperately. Shiply washes their hands of you the moment you make that deposit... that you THINK is going towards the ship amount but IT IS NOT... it is simply gone. GONE just like the additional money you then pay to the shipper, GONE with no RECOURSE.

After seeing the rosy advertising and thinking they "sound legitimate". I was required to give a deposit to shiply AND pay the shipper up front. The shipper never showed up. It's been a month. Shiply says they won't refung the money they instructed me to give to the shipper. And they never offered to even give me a refund of the money I gave Shiply directly. Shiply's shippers can just keep your money and abscond (take off with it). Shiply tries to avoid this topic from coming forth. They say their shippers are trustworthy. But that's only if they don't keep your money like some do. I guess that means only the shippers that don't rip you off are trustworthy, lol. As of now I'm out $1000. I wouldn't recommend using this company or any fly by night outfit that doesn't have their own in house drivers, otherwise you have a great chance of having all your money stolen. That's my Shiply experience.

Beware do NOT use Shiply.

I was a transporter working on the Shiply platform,our company was never verified in terms of having insurance for the goods we carried and we were never asked for a copy of our certificate.We were suspended from the shiply platform for bringing up the subject of the Shiply deposit (in other words commission) as its an big no no for transporters to mention the commission to customers they try to pass it off as a deposit,to be honest its the worst kept secret in online logistics.However as we were quoting a price of lets say £300 the customer was actually seeing a figure of £400 so after explaining
Why we were suspended.
In relation to customer care,well...there is none whatsoever.The so called customer care is a cloudbased computer mailing system called Freshdesk (thats why many replies look and read the same) forget the helpline number its always off the hook.All Shiply are after is the commission and nothing more if your goods go missing then tough thats for you to sort out not Shiply.

Their main UK office is listed as 207 Regent st central London 3rd floor,dont believe a word of it,its just a forwarding address for mail shared by nearly 4000 other companies it allows them to put this address on their website and business cards,however as for a actual office well,there isnt one.Down below is a phot of the directors info freely available on the gov.uk Website.Shiply USA however is listed as dissolved.Customers beware do not use this site it is a scam and they should not be trusted take my advice it could and will save you time and money.

There are too few small businesses or one man businesses on this platform. It is more large brokers which are middlemen to make money off of the load in order get a carrier to get the load. The problem with this is that the price to carry your load is greatly impacted with higher fee's rather than seeking a broker lead bid, try really hard to find the one individual to carry your load. There is much requirements as far as complying with the USDOT and Insurance requirements so all drivers even ones who are new are all safe. The brokers are ones that boast many trucks and many employees. Really they do not have those trucks or employees but they have the means to attain those leads.

And keep in mind a really low offer can be a bait and switch. I was in both seats where I needed a car hauled and then I have services to offer. As a two person team it is hard to really always be price competive as what others say because the other people bait and really do not give you those super low rates though you can try. Most likely if you are in a time crunch it will waste your precious time.
The site asks for references but the carrier is not required to offer such, but all carriers have to have a USDOT if using a 26' Box truck. A Cargo Van does not need a USDOT.

You have no protection with this company - AVOID THEM!

- they don't vet or qualify the drivers
- they take your $ and YOU ARE SCREWED if a driver flakes and doesn't deliver
- they won't let you put negative feedback in for a week allowing others to get scammed by the same driver

I would NEVER use them again. They take your cash regardless if the driver delivers or not.

Take your money but never ships car

This is a bait and switch company. They make fake driver accounts to get you to accept a fake bid. Once you accept the driver changes the price or disapears. At that point shiply has your money and won't give it back, the force you to try to use another much more expensive driver.
Original bid was $1427. Now all the bids are over $2500! Thats over a 50% markup...
Total scam!

The worst shipping app ever. We are moving across the country and had multiple companies waste our time misquote and miscommunicate with each other. I have not received a refund from Shiply I had to pay a deposit for each quote instead of giving me my refund Shiply wants to give me a credit. I do not use this enough this app is terrible I do not want a credit I want my money back! I am so mad they have no phone number so your literally at their mercy. Anyone looking to use them please take my advice and don't unless you just have money to waste.

Shiply cannot be trusted to provide quotes from reputable companies. We were scammed by a "business" that was verified on their platform, when they clearly did not complete due diligence on who they were verifying. The reviews the carrier has listed on their page are fake - in fact, they stated my sister gave them a positive review when we were scammed out of our money. You don't know the information of the business until you book the job through the website. Well, after we were scammed out of our money and looked up the business address, it turns out it was for the Georgia Department of Corrections. If you can't trust who Shiply verifies as a reputable carrier, what's the point of using their site? I would avoid at all costs and save yourself time, money, and unnecessary stress.

Shippers stole furniture
January 19, 2023

Used Shiply to find "shippers" to move our furniture from NV to MT. The cost $2500. The "shippers" pick up the furniture, for 3 bedrooms, coffee table, cabinet with the promised delivery within 3 weeks. Well 3 weeks are up, no furniture, and their phones are no longer in service. Contacted shiply, of course they hold No accountablity, they said the it's the hiring party's responsibility to investigate the integrity of the "shippers." Shiply sent us the contact information for the shippers and the name was B.b. How did they allow Bb to utilize their platform. So in a nutshell, Shiply is a platform where you pay "shippers" to walk in your home, pick up your furniture, and disappear. Easy for thieves to steal your stuff while you watch and get paid to do it! What a scam! I would not recommend this platform!

Need police support now. Shipply has not responded to our very needed support. If you have product to ship, RUN RUN RUN somewhere else of be in our shoes down several thousand dollars in product. Was hopeful for a good platform, but its been terrible.

This company is a joke, they have extremely unreliable drivers and even worst customer service and support. HotRod68 was the driver for my shipment which was a working dog to be picked up in South Dakota in late November 2022 and was supposed to be in Calgary a few days later. It is now mid-January 2023 and my dog still has not been delivered to me. The dog and transportation costs both have already been paid and the driver is now down in Texas with my stolen dog ($5,000USD). Shiply has done absolutely NOTHING to help resolve tracking down my dog, the driver or my money. For whatever reason she has sent photos of my dog to me while they are driving around and she is getting very skinny. HORRIBLE company with HORRIBLE drivers and people working for them.
