Thiefs Beware

We arranged for a truck to be brought to NJ from LA. We thought Shiply vetted its drivers. It doesnt. We gave the driver that won the big. He pocketed the money - never to be seen again. What a rip off. We call the police but they dont care.

AVOID! FAKE COMPANIES LISTED!

I used Shiply to find a courier to move a dining table which the courier then destroyed in transit.

When trying to raise this for compensation the courier company then stopped responding.

THE REASON FOR THE 1 STAR:

Shiply then did not check the company details they have on record, so when trying to raise this further the address and name, shiply has on file was incorrect, phone number disconnected plus even the name of the company was out of date. Making chasing for compensation impossible.

Not only is this illegal, but apparently is a common issue on Shiply. Customer services have been useless avoid at all costs!

My shipper, MadHatter33, never showed. She took my deposit and although she claims her business partner stole from her, she won't reply to my reasonable requests for reimbursement. I strongly recommend against using MadHatter33 if you need to move. Also, Shiply made me jump through hoops to get a refund of my booking fee and was not supportive is pursuing my shipper. Obviously, because they did refund me the booking fee, they acknowledged that MadHatter33/Complete Property Services is fraudulent and never fulfilled their contract, never showed. Stay away!

Shiply is expensive. I paid $116 to them in an initial transaction just to find my shipper on their platform. There was a separate transaction to pay the shipper for his work. It's my own fault for not realizing the amount I was paying Shiply just to use their platform, but lesson learned. I will never use Shiply again.

The shipping was ok. Nothing to say other than the contracted party showed up and did what I paid him for. He did not exceed my expectations, and I don't want to write a neutral review and potentially hurt someone's business. So, I ignored Shiply's request to post a review. And then they send me the email I have attached here so you can see it with your own eyes. If I don't leave a review, they are going to post their own positive review. This is highly deceptive.

I won't use Shiply again, and I highly recommend against them!

Absolutely horrible!

Unbelievable... the response to my request for a quote was aggressive, emotional, unprofessional and offensive. I was investigating shipping options for an inflatable water toy I want to sell on eBay. The first Shiply list included a ship price of $87, the quote came in at $791. When I tried to reply to ask more questions, I had to name a price to reply with so I put $90. The guy was so offended he wrote me a horrible reply and then changed his quote to $54,662. Avoid doing business with these people.

My father was right, you get what you pay for!
With high fuel prices and a shortage of drivers I was quoted a price of $543.00. When I accepted there bid I was asked to pay a $74 fee. Now I'm thinking that was a broker fee. I was also charged another $3 and some change. Now I'm dealing with a transportation company that's telling me there having a difficult time finding a driver for the price I was quoted. If I want to pay more I would have better luck. WTF I was quoted a price and accepted it and paid a deposit. What a scam, why should I pay more? Stay away from these people!

Avoid at all costs, my £2,000 Victorian cast iron fireplace was broken in to 3 pieces in their care. I am now having trouble in claiming my losses from them and I am having to take the matter legal. Shiply removed the opportunity for me to leave feedback for this courier and refuse to assist in recovering my losses.

Folks, careful here! Shiply will do everything to not refund the deposit, they say it can be used as a credit, but if you don't want to work with them you will ultimately lose your money! Only pay the deposit if you are sure you will be using the trucking company. Otherwise do not believe in their MISLEADING propaganda!

Scammers

We schedule a shipment from NC to CA and the company that we got through SHIPLY was called Mojave logistics and the supposedly owner Erick karasek/ Erick scott asked for a full payment for the shipping witch it was $3600 but I didn't feel comfortable paying without the equipment even been picked up so we agreed $1800 to schedule and $1800 when delivered. We ended up doing a tranfer to shannon lawson/Mojave logistics for $1800. Well to make this story short. After the deposit they were playing me for like a week saying that a driver was going to be there and by the second week they stopped answering my calls and 1 month later they completely disappeared and i am out of $1800 and we sent emails to Shiply and they said they have nothing to do ones we scheduled with the company they provided. SCAMMERS!

We had a motorcycle shipped. When we received the email for a review, it does not allow you to submit a negative review. No matter what we did, unless we clicked "positive" the site would not allow our review. So someone would have to go in and read a positive review to know it was negative. The site just kept posting "A negative review can't be left until ##/##/##." A date that was 2 weeks out from the shipment. They are hoping people forget. We did have an issue - bike was dropped and clutch handle broken. Shipper said not them, although dealer had photos and video of loading showing no damage. Also, shipper was not very professional. DO NOT TRUST the percentage of positive reviews on their site.

I have a single 60 lb box but slightly too large for UPS/Fedex to take. If it were 8" shorter, it would cost about $140 to ship to the destination. Less than truck load carriers such as Southeastern and SAIA are around $300. They used to be around 200 to ship a box of this size and weight pre-covid. So, Let's try Shiply. Nothing but a bunch of crack heads quoting $1400 to $2600 to take a box 12 hours down the road. I'm not looking for them to carry just that box on the journey. Hello? I just shipped a pickup truck to Gulfport MS for $740. Shiply quotes are nothing but Amateurs (4 thus far) who intend to take just this one box on a VIP adventure from Cincy to St. Pete vs someone who is hauling many parcels in a cost effective manner. One guy even asked me if it would fit in his Prius (LOL). Hell dude, I have no idea... I do not own a Prius! Don't waste your time for commodity shipping with these buffoons wanting $150 to $200 per hour to drive down I75. Shiply needs to Qualify their couriers if they expect to become a viable service that is price competitive. Prius drivers need not apply.

Complete scam, kept fee, no shipping and no assistance. They do not try to help resolve any issues and leave you hanging still keeping your fee, then you have to pay someone else to get your item shipped.
