I think they must have changed hands. I've used them for two and a half years for onward shipping purchases from ebay to the UK and always found them quick, efficient and very responsive and polite on the very rare occasion needed to contact them.
Sadly they have now changed their website and obviously haven't tested it as it's hopeless, they have put up their prices and you can now only get assistance via online chat where the representatives are seriously lacking in knowledge and treat experienced customers like imbeciles.
I've recommended them strongly in the past but not now. KEEP AWAY.
I have been using shipito for more than a year. Recently I have found there were missing items from the last 4 packages I sent. Customer care are rude and they take forever to get back to me. I lost more than $600 valued stuff. In less than 2 months. I am definitely switching to another company. The funny thing is that I tried two different carriers through shipito Fedex and DHL but still things get missing and customer care gets mad at me instead of investigate and find out who takes my stuff. My recommendation is to stay away from them they are not professional and are giving me hard time to submit a claim.

The first time I used this service my package never arrived, fine, my fault for not paying extra for insurance. The 2nd time they "misplaced" part of my order & refused responsibility for it. When they sent what remained they removed items from their packaging & sent them unprotected - how is this a helpful service? I thought I would use this service to save money but it cost me >$150, not including their fees & postage cost, and I never even got most of what I ordered. It isn't even cheap, they charge fees for everything. I would never use this site again & seriously advise anybody to avoid it.

I only gave it one star because you have to but they don't even deserve that! I live in France and was looking for a shipping solution because I ship stuff regularly from the states. The first two times I used this service all went well but after that nothing but inconveniences and money lost. My package didn't get to me and was sent back to their warehouse and they refused to reimburse me. I lost $100. That's SHIPITTO! You suck!

I ordered an item to shipito warehouse and it arrived 4 days ago, while I'm still waiting for the package to ship, "I see that they can't send it by airmail- because the package have battery inside, if the website would let me know beforehand I wouldn't used shipito service

I had a 3 items of furniture delivered to one of the warehouses. With out me asking the put one of the items inside another and badly damaged the piece of furniture with 3 large scratches. The item cost about 900 dollars. After admitting to damaging the item they offered to not charge me the 30 dollar fees for packing the item. I told them I didn't want to ship a damaged item and the would have to pay for it.
Then then changed what they said and said the delivery company told them to put one item inside of another.
I will am now suing them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I have used Shipito's mail forwarding services for seven occasions so far. I am beyond thrilled with this company. They are professional, fast in process and also very fair priced. Shipito have saved me much money, only during a couple of months. Highly recommended!
Over the years I have used a number of forwarding agents to ship purchases made in USA to Australia and none have performed as well as Shipito.
As a customer you can access their website to find out whether your purchase has been received, and then choose from a number of carriers to make the delivery. Your purchase is photographed and you can add insurance for a very reasonable rate.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company to any overseas buyers making purchases in the USA. They deserve the five star rating I gave them!
They're keeping my package hostage for stupid birocracy and does'nt show a hint of interest in helping me. Horrible people.

They repackaged some packages for me and lost 1 item. They have a very inflexible process that has you running around to post offices and collecting information and then they just say "claim denied". All care and no responsibility, the lost part would be in the repacking room, but they don't care.

Stay away from this company. If I could give them zero stars I would. They managed to send me the wrong package, and are now keeping my package hostage until I manage to either resend the package or reroute it. They have left it all up to me. I have had to do all the investigation possible to figure out what to do with this huge (!) package that I have wrongfully received. Incredibly frustrating. After investigating the matter, it turns out it cannot be returned through regular post (too big), and the Dhl central in my town is shut down (they wanted me to return it, pay the shipment, and then pay me back. I also find this quite disturbing; they don't trust me to return the package, but I should trust them to pay back the most likely huge cost of shipping after seeing how unhelpful and unaccommodating they are?!).
I contacted Dhl and they told me that all the company needed to do was to give the import no., and they could collect the package at my door and have it sent back or even rerouted. Then Shipito could pay for the shipping directly to Dhl once the package was returned to them. Shipito said they didn't want to do this - I had to pay the shipping postage of a package they wrongfully (!) sent to me. On top of it all, Dhl is now saying I owe them 68 USD due to importing tax (for this package that doesn't even belong to me!).
Please never use this company. When you contact customer service they only reply with standard, one-line answers. It is as if they don't even bother to read your e-mail. I had to provide the same info 4-5 times (!), because different people kept replying to my queries.
I still haven't got my package. I am seriously starting to wonder if I ever will. I regret using this service. I spent so much money on the content of this package, plus the International express shipping through Dhl. What a joke.

This is my first experience with shipito. I registered, sent them a parcel, sent the money from his PayPal account and uploaded a photo of his passport. And my account was blocked. Versed for a whole week. It turned out that five years ago I transferred money to account of my friend from my PayPal account. Why not? No you can't. Well, let me pay with card. No you can't. You have to merge accounts with your friend. How is it possible to merge the accounts of different people? Ok, yes, you can't, then delete the account of you friend. How do I delete the account of another person? It's your problem, solve. I replied that it is their client and that they should resolve such issues. They offered to verify both accounts to 100%. I opened a dispute on PayPal. They offered to verify only my account to 100%. It is not possible because I don't have so much documents. In the end, offered me, in a dispute PayPal (directly just a waste of time) to return the parcel to the sender at my expense. This is not a customer - oriented service. They violated the terms of a public offer in my case, because PayPal account is not a parameter verification. They did not try to find acceptable for me the way to solve the issue. I suffered through their fault material loss. They did not apologize. I would not recommend this service.
I've been using Shipito for about 3 years to send various packages to Australia and have never had a problem. Have always had a good experience, and always recommend them to friends. Most times I have used the consolidation option and they have always done a good job at putting it all together and taking photos.
I don't know what this verification process is people are complaining about... I have never needed to verify anything on that website and I can still get full functionality (the only catch is I have a $1187. 52 monthly spending limit) Who needs more than that anyway?

I did a lot of research before using Shipito to ship a package from the US to Romania. They did everything promised - the size/weight that I calculated before signing up matched perfectly, the charge was exactly on point. I will absolutely use this service again and again.
My package was stolen while it was in the mailbox and only reimbursed the declared value even though I sent them original invoice and tracking number that proves the value of the goods. I have used them for 4 years. Lately their service has been awful and their shipping fees increased. It takes more than two weeks to receive a package sent with TNT economy, while before it used to take 7 days.
