Ordered size 16 for my UK size 12 daughter so we could have it altered. 10 days late even though we paid express delivery. Way too small needed to have ordered a size 20. Sent them photos to confirm. Now offered me an insulting 8% of purchase price as refund! Complete was of money and upsetting for a 16 year old.

It was exactly as described. Thought we had bought it from the UK but turned out it from China. This was not a problem at all. The dress stood out from some that had paid four times more. Reading other reviews thought we had been lucky but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. If somebody was expecting a £1000 pound dress for £150 then that's their fault. Would recommend Shilla to anybody.

If I could give them a 0 then I would have done. If you are thinking of purchasing a dress from this company, THEN DON'T. The dresses are made of cheap fabric, don't fit properly and when you ask for their address to return it, they offer you a refund percentage not worth the paper its written on. Would never buy from them again and would encourage you not to either. BUYER BEWARE!

Disgusting

They won't answer my emails. Received no dress I will be ringing trading standards. I have lost a lot of money that I saved up for my daughter to have a prom she would remember. Now my daughters left devastated can't believe this can happen on the internet. Shameful company won't fall for these fraudsters again :(

Horrible - you pay a huge amount of money for very cheap fabric, the dress is worth £10 and you pay over £100 - they don't even want your dress back even though you ordered a size and not a tailored one and they leave you with the dress (in the bin already) and offer 8% refund of the total price.

I will work on having this website reported for their dodge way of getting people's money, because as you can see everyone has the same experience. Do something people!

Please do not buy from this site, I did not listen to the reviews and have paid the price. They have just offered me a refund of 10% on a dress I paid £119 for. The dress id made so badly. They insisted i send pictures then said they will pay for alterations, however the dressmaker said it could not be saved. The have said that they are unable to offer a full refund as they had to pay for the material. I did not request a made to measure just a run of the mill size 10 as it fit my measurements. Please Please don't do it. I am investigating how to stop them robbing people.

Ordered a dress for a wedding. Took a long time to come. Nothing like the dress that I ordered, cheap and shabby. Asked for my money to be returned and where to send the dress back to, all they kept asking for was pictures which I eventually sent and they offered me 8% refund of my money saying that this dress had been made for me. I bought a standard dress from their site and did not ask for any changes to be made. DO NOT BUY THINKING THAT YOU CAN RETURN TO THIS SITE THEY ARE NOW NOT RESPONDING TO MY E MAILS.

I bought a prom dress for my daughter from Shilla's. When it arrived it wasn't remotely similar to the dress in the picture. The materials were cheap and the beads were plastic and falling off. The cut was terrible, with no hemming and a poor fit despite paying extra for custom fit. It looked like something from a fancy dress shop. Please don't buy from this site - you will be disappointed and you will lose your money. I think that the reviews on the actual site must be false.

I recently bought a mother of the bride dress from shillas; but this was the worst experience I've ever had while buying things from online. First of all, the dress was very late delivered, I had already travelled to US for the wedding with ought it and I just received a call from my hub' that it was delivered. When I came back from US on the 27th\5\17, I tried the dress and saw a horrible material huge dress which couldn't even fit. The arms couldn't go through it and can only stop from the waste down. I immediately emailed them stating reasons to why I asked for a refund or an exchange. It took a while to receive a reply. A person called Linda got back to and asked me to email her what's wrong with the dress. This made me angry cause she got back to me after having received my message. Anyway I did resent the message long one this time. She is now asking me to take pictures of me in the dress for her to know what needs to be done with it. I'm so furious that I even don't feel like trying on this rubbish dress on me once more. It costed me £115 but to be honest, I don't feel like asking for more from them. This is a loss and a huge lesson I wish them to get rich forever and ever. Warning from anybody reading this, please don't ever buy from shillas web, I know they look so gooooood on line but believe me, they're nightmares

Absolutely horrendous, the dress didn't fit when I got it custom made, very cheap and tacky. I have tried for over a month to get a refund and they are offering me 14% of the £124 I spent. Very rude and do not know how to deal with customers. NEVER buy off this company.

I won't ever buy anything off of this site ever again! Totally disgusted. I ordered 2 dresses that don't fit even though I sent the measurements. When I contacted by email for the return address they keep robbing me off! So to anyone looking on this site. Shop somewhere else!

I checked their website information for returns and customer satisfaction before ordering a prom dress for my daughter. Dress ordered and arrived in time specified.

Dress is made in very cheap polyester - nothing of which mentioned on website.
Delivery note looks to be wrote in Chinese writing and makes no sense to me. So I emailed for a returns address for refund as it says on website. Got email asking me to reconsider. Politely advised did not want - please advise return address. This has been backwards and forwards communication since then. They have offered me 10% refund on a dress that apparently cost £120 to me. This is the most ridiculous bartering way to deal with customers and not acceptable.

Please do think very carefully before dealing with this company.

Got my bridesmaids to buy her dress and it was completly the wrong shape and size they offered 10% back to her. We even rang tradimg standars and have reported the company. Its a disgrace. They need to be taken down so no one else can be ripped off! Linda at shillas u should be ashamed of yourself!

DO NOT ORDER A DRESS from this website. It's FRAUD! They stole £90 from me. Got the dress but very cheap quality, tried to send it back but no way did the silly little robot on the other side of the screen let me, she was rude and kept repeating herself. She wanted pictures of me in the dress (even though it wasn't meant for me). They offered 8% of the dress back. I'm still in shock and £90 out of pocket and left with a cheap, ugly dress. Shamefull.

Do not buy anything from Shilla.co.uk the quality is very poor and it will not be as the photos on the website. Ours did not fit, did not even look like the one we ordered and the quality of material was cheap and nasty. Tried to get a refund but they refuse to give refunds so beware of they are shipped from China and are cheap and nasty dresses

I have ordered one bridesmaid dress off this site. It has arrived the completely wrong colour and nothing like the picture.

"Linda" is refusing to provide me with a refund until I provide pictures of me in the dress. She has offered me 10% off another dress. I will never ever order or recommend anyone to purchase off this site again. Thankfully I ordered one dress and not all 8 for my bridesmaid. They are in breach of their own "exchange & returns" policy. This company shouldn't be allowed to trade. Its a disgrace.

I wish I could rate lower than one. I ordered a very expensive prom dress from this sight, I sent my measurements so the dress would fit exact. However, due to circumstances, I had to cancel the order. Their site states a refund if cancelled working 24 hours. I ordered the dress at 8.04am and it was cancelled 2 hours later on the same day. Yet they ignored me. And avoided me. And sent the dress anyway. To make matters worse it didn't fit, and for more of a better word, the thing was hideous. Literally, I would've been ashamed wearing such a garment to prom. I then sent the dress back asking for a full refund having cancelled it. After many days of exchanging angry emails, I received no money. Not a penny. You really shouldn't order from this site, especially when it says it is UK based, however my parcel came from Beijing... It is a con and my order / experience is currently with the fraud department so we will see how they like that.

Ordered a dress from Shilla's then read the reviews... I made sure I had another dress in reserve for my event because I was expecting a disaster. Anyway the dress arrived today just before my event on Saturday (I must admit I left it until the last moment to order it and paid for expediated delivery). I wasn't looking forward to opening the package because I was sure it would be awful and didn't want to feel I'd been ripped off. However, the dress is beautiful. Well made with good quality fabric. It has a lot of embellishment and its all been stitched perfectly. I'm really sorry to hear about others negative experiences, it would appear that I'm one of the fortunate ones and I'm counting my lucky stars because I paid by debit card where there would be no recourse.
