Wishing I had found this site before foolishly ordering a prom dress from this company for my daughter this evening! I obviously haven't received the dress yet so can't comment on it but, after reading reviews on this site, I'm not feeling very positive about what it will be like. Strangely, there are some very positive reviews on this site too, can any of them please comment on their experience and were they genuinely happy with what they received, quality, value for money etc. I've contacted my bank for help as I also believe they have claimed more money than authorised which is surely fraud!?

Firstly this site is based in Hong Kong but use a UK web address. I ordered a prom dress for my 16 yr old daughter which she saved up for. We purchased the dress as shown on Shilla's website with no alterations in a size 10. What we were delivered looked like it had been made by a 6 yr old. We have been refused a refund and told that we should sell the dress or alter the dress ourselves. When I say it was bad my daughter could not even zip it up as the back of the dress seems to be a size 5 and the rest a size 8. They have made a derisory offer of 30% of the purchase price of £120.00 Even their reviews are false for every poor review they get they then post 3 false reviews to make it look like they are a Half decent company! PLEASE TRUST ME AND DO NOT BUY!

They took more money out of my account that I agreed to pay, they delivered the wrong dresses (full sleeves instead of sleevless), will not accept blame. Initially they asked me to have the dresses fixed locally and they offered a partial refund which turned out to be 8%! I pointed out their website says they will remake the dress if the customer is unhappy and they said they would but would charge an additional "material fee". I pointed out their site says they will waive this fee if it is their mistake. They responded they would offer a £ 10 refund (less than their first offer!). Absolute nightmare to deal with! Have contacted Trading Standards. Avoid at all costs! It is a shame as the dresses were actually pretty and well made... just not the right dresses!

I was reading these reviews and I was scared to receive my prom dress in the mail. But it is beyond beautiful. It was designer quality, fitted nicely and it shipped a week before expected. My experience with this company was a great one and I will purchase from them again. I look forward to prom and getting to wear such a stunning and unique dress.Do keep in mind sizing though, I did ask them to alter something I dont think they did however its an easy fix.

Ordered a dress from here for a ball. It arrived very late from China and is probably the worst quality piece of clothing I have ever seen, sequins falling off when I held it up, horrible cheap material and a suspicious smell that made me gag! Again, not offered a proper refund despite the fact it was about 3 sizes bigger than the measurements I had given. Feel quite embarrassed that I've fallen for the scam now having read these reviews, please don't do the same!

Be suspicious of the positive reviews - all spelt wrong, broken english, my bet is they all work for / paid by the company. Very clever on their part but please don't be the one to fall for it, you WILL regret wasting your money.

Save your hard earned money and buy from a reputable coompany. The dress u will receive will not be the dress on their website. Another part of the Shillas company that are being sued for counterfeit products! Dress arrived, completely made wrong (all my sizes where correct as I got dressmaker to check) had alterations done locally as i wouldnt have time to organise another, cost an additional £65 got an email back saying they would only refund £15 alteration fee also said they had already paid making the dress etc. So all in the dress cost £180 with no hope of refund or resolution. Also they make out this is a uk site it isnt they are based in china! Referred to trading standards and watchdog

Me and my sister ordered 2 dresses for £220 for a friends occasion, also paid for express delivery for a specific delivery date. Both dressed where delivered 3weeks post agreed date, both dresses in wrong colour and wrong sizes, way too big, they were custom made, material for one dress is average and for the other dress is the cheapest material which tears as you wear. The company is in china and noone ever picks the uk phone which they have on their website, they dont reply emails, basically, customer service is non existent, its a foreign company just deceiving people through good advertising, but ripping them huge, with little people can do to stop them as they are foreign based. All I can say keep away, be warned, I learnt the way.

Bought a dress 16/02/16 and wouldn't use for a dish cloth! Very poor quality!
Posted in a very small plastic bag, looked like a rag rather than a wedding dress! Also said on postage it was a coat and only cost $20
Heartbroken! They are obviously ripping off government!

Please never buy from this site, what they show on the website it is totally stealing an American images. Bought a sequence dress its a total disaster. When asking for a refund, ask to send pics of what's wrong, the quality of the dress is bad. A total scam
