Poor quality clothes do not buy
I have placed a large order from SHEIN website. I Returned few items and requested my refund to go to my wallet, Then I realized that even the clothes I kept where poor fabric, seams and quality. Returning them would have cost me more money. So I donated them to goodwill.
Since I will not order from them again I requested to have my wallet balance refunded to my Apple Pay needless to say I was ignored. After several requests I decided to write this review.
Do not buy from SHEIN and waste your money. You will definitely be disappointed.

I shopped with Shein for over 7 months straight. Spending hundreds of dollars each month. The problem with Shein is their refund system. I sent an outfit back. THEY NEVER ISSUED ME MY REFUND! They started sending me emails the day after I returned my outfit. Saying "Congratulations, you received a refund. Being that they are in CHINA, there is No Way In the world that they received my clothes back the very next morning. For over a month, they continued to say "Our Records Show that your refund was credited back to your original payment. THEY NEVER REFUNDED MY MONEY, AND KEPT SENDING EXTREMELY SMALL RECEIPTS THAT LOOK LIKE THEY DID THEM ON A CHEAP COMPUTER. They then sent me a coupon for $40.00 off $200.00 purchase. I TOLD THEM THAT THE REFUND WAS FOR $17.37. The principal is... I send you your product... You send me my money! Don't try to manipulate the situation. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THESE CROOKED LOW DOWN, NO GOOD, UNRIGHTEOUS, THIEVES AGAIN!

The prices seem too good to be true because they are. They sell Dollar Store junk using deceptive photos that lead you to believe you're getting a decent product. I'll try to add a pic of just one item as advertised and as it really is, to give you an idea what I'm talking about.

As I was scrolling through this site for summer dresses I started noticing that there was zero diversity in the models. Not only that but, I was trying to shop for XXL clothing. Did they show real plus size models so I can see how they might fit on me? Absolutely not. I continued to scroll and saw 3 photos in a row of a model with her head not in frame with excess floor. I also noticed that below the models chin you can slightly see a hijab on them. Mind you, majority of the models shows faces and less floor regardless of outfit. I'm outraged at the clear racist and body shaming this site blatantly portrays. And don't even come at me with "oh but we do have diversity" because randomly places colored models in a sea of white models, does not count as diversity.

After putting my address in wrong by mistake, I tried fixing it but the thing was already shipped out. USPS wouldnt let me intercept my package. I couldnt call them because their customer service number just doesnt exsist. You physically CAN. NOT. Return a package you havent physically received, the site wont let you. Unlike Amazon who lets you return any package anytime. Customer service just doesnt exsist ( On the email saying that my package was unsuccessfully delivered it had [Shien customer service details here] I had to look other places for an email that they never responded to. Awful site PLEASE go to literally anywhere else!

Complete rip off. Company does not actually exist. They say to contact them. But five no contact info. Dont get suckered in. If the price is to good to believe... it is because you will never get it.

2 years and no refund for the dresses never delivered to a disabled senior in Toronto. I have begged them and written to them and they have sent me some impossible letters, that I can not respond to so no interpersonal live chat and the money never arrives!
2 Years ago I ordered 3 dresses and since these people have done nothing other than cause me stress with my bad heart and they care less. I have expressed that I understand there was a crisis and that stuff has been challenging but TWO YEARS!? Just give me my money back Please!

Order placed April 3. I got notice of "shipping" on April 3 also. I thought that was great. It is now April 11 and UPS is STILL waiting on the package. Do not order if you are expecting updates. Cannot reach customer service. Frustrating.

I love that Shein has a large variety of products. It allows you to be able to find basically anything you're looking for. So many people talk about the clothing selection/value but I really enjoy the home related items they have to offer. My order was shipped out not long after placing and is on the way with an expected delivery of next week. This will be my first order! I cannot wait!

My credit card was charged several times right after I used it on this site. Transactions were from companies in the country I live in oddly enough but I made no purchases from there. It's shein covering it up making it seem like legit purchases but it's a very big scam being run by them. I had to cancel my card and get a new one. Not worth it and I'm surprised more ppl have not reported them. Carefully look at your credit card history! I hate that I had to give it a rating to post

Ordered items. Didn't stress on how long it would take. Long story short items ended up never needing delivered and were returned to sender. How you may ask? Somehow usps didn't have the right address. (There was no mistake, Shein likely gave the wrong address as it seems from others reviews they purposely do this)
Oh just have them reship it? It's not an option. Because it's sold out. OK why does that matter since I bought my item, the one they just received 2 hours ago.
Maybe they never even had the item. But they got my credit card and my address now. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I put my order into Shein 3 weeks before Thanksgiving last year. I thought that since it was a busy time for most places to ship and with the shipping fiasco happening that I should give it some time. So when it didn't arrive by Christmas I was still trying to be gracious and gave them the excuse for massive amounts of people needing to ship products and not to be angry about the delay. Well Valentine's day came and went and when I went to check on my order they said they had already shipped it to my house. They did not. I called the lady who lives at a similar address because our mail gets mixed up sometimes. She did not receive my order either. When I filed a dispute with my bank they said Shein provided proof that my order was signed for. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. Please be aware of this scam. I paid for a product I did not receive. No one signed for or received ANYTHING from them. They kept my money though

This is a company from singapore that charged 2000$ from my credit card 2 times even though i never made an order. They are scammers and scammers. My credit card was replaced by the bank with a new one, but these scammers took money somehow from my new card. Be prepared to be thrown multiple times.

Answer: It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.

Further, the items are SO CHEAP, and their return policy is so terrible, that I literally threw items out... Don't think anyone at a thrift store would even want them.
