Update: 12/9 The returns are super slow, and since I've experienced this before I know it's not due to the holiday season. Last week I checked the tracking and it showed that the item had been received, this week it says it hasn't. I don't have a screen shot from last week, but the one from today shows that, even though it says it hasn't been received, it was returned on 12/5. This site isn't bad, the clothes aren't bad quality, and the shipping time to receive the item is short, but their return and refund times are not great. Getting your refund will likely take 3-4 weeks. The only reason I think I got my refund quicker is because they saw my original review. Just for a timeline, (you can see evidence is the attached photo, but I created my label on 11/20, it went out that Friday 11/22, now it is 12/9 and still no refund or communication that it is being processed. My review will not go up again, but it may go down, depending on when/if I ever get refunded. They need a better system.
Update: I received my refund and someone from support reached out to help with it, So I'm editing the rating from 2 stars to 4.
I ordered some items from shein. This wasn't my first time ordering from here, but after my trial order went well I decided to order more things. 2 of them were good purchases, i order 2 sets of night wear and 2 other shirts. One of the night wear pieces ripped within 2 minutes of trying it on, not due to size because I had purchased the same item previously in a different color and it fit fine. The other was not true to size, one shirt was tight in the shoulder/sleeve area and the other shirt did not look the way i though it would. I sewed the rip in one of the night where pieces, so 3/6 wasn't that bad. However I can't return the too small night wear piece and the other 2 shirt I can. I sent them back with the prepaid postage last week on the day after Halloween and the tracking number shows that it hasn't even left the city where I shipped from. I'm not sure what is on the label, but It has been almost a week, and will probably be another week before I actually get a refund. On top of that there's no humans to contact only robots that don't understand your questions and say "I will take your feedback and continue to work hard" but my questions are left unanswered.

I have ordered 1 dress & its transaction was not processes, i called customer care number *******4754 & i received call from *******501 to camcelled my order. They said they are checking & will cancell my order for that i have to forward 1 msg which they texted me. Which i did and they asked about google pay to transfer my money i gave that then they did fraud transaction & took all my money from my google pay. I need my money back from this site. This is total fake site.as one fake shein site also created by them. I want my money back orherwise i will take necessary action to close this site.

I was waiting for the refunds. Today when I called up the Customer care number it patched up with some frauds, hopefully he was one of your employee. The mobile number is *******311. He linked his Andhra Bank with my UPI and Around Rs 5000 were withdrawn from my a/c through UPI.
This is totally unacceptable.

I bought five tops that looked really cool online. The order came in two different packages. The first package had a different blouse than the one I ordered. When the second package arrived a few days later, of the four items, all in my correct size, three of them had such tight sleeves, it was almost like the sleeves were a smaller size. Getting the return label was a bit of a hassle, but I bundled up the four returned items (I opted to NOT ask for the correct first piece, just money back), and took it to the post office. The was Oct 15. According to USPS tracking, my package was picked up at 5 pm the next day. Oct 16. That's when everything stopped. Nine days later it was still "in transit". Next day, 10 days after it was picked up in Ventura, Ca, it still hadn't arrived in their facility, 100 miles away. But I had paid by credit card, so that's when I emailed them (NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE!) that if I didn't get resolution on my refund request in three days I'd open a dispute case. Amazingly, I received my exact refund amount today by email notification. What's even more amazing is that, according to their own tracking info, Shein STILL hasn't received my package, so how did they know, to the penny, how much to refund me?

I bought a four swimming suits from Shien for a fun winter trip I have coming up! A couple of them fit but the rest of them were not true to size at all! Some of the swim suits were meant to be worn as mediums, but were cut at very strange angles.
The other issue that came up was customer service. It is very hard to reach Shein regarding an order and there are little to no details on their website regarding fixing orders or unhappy customers. Very poor customer service. The bags they send your products in are from some development not from a Shein store and the packaging has no receipt, no order information, and no shipping information!
My swimming suits that I received were stringing out and pieces were actually detaching from the swimming suits themselves. They were very poorly manufactured in their warehouse which they are shipped out from and no thought is put into them from developing, manufacturing, to the way the companies customer service and other services work as a whole!

I never got the product so I can't review the product it's self. For a over month after it was supposed to be delivered I tried to find out where it was and it was never where they said it would be when I drove to try to pick it up and then when they said they were going to try delivering it to me again they actually sent it back to the shipper. Then they actually asked if I wanted credit instead of a refund and want a receipt for the customs charges however the shipper never provided one. Also if you live in Canada don't bother paying more to not get customs fees they charge you a ton on customs anyway.

Answer: It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.

Further, the items are SO CHEAP, and their return policy is so terrible, that I literally threw items out... Don't think anyone at a thrift store would even want them.
