I purchased the warranty and never received my coverage documents from via email like I was told. When I called back to question this. The agent was very apologetic and corrected the issue in under 2 minutes. Since I do value my time, it was good service that he recognized it and worked as quickly as possible. So far so good. I will write another review if I have to do a claim to cover what happens with an actual service call. But for now they seem like a pretty good service for the money.
I received excellent service from Daniel Clark. I had several questions regarding service and coverage with the platinum plan. Daniel answered each and every one clearly. I felt comfortable purchasing this home warranty plan.

My microwave completely died the panel went blank. I called the warranty service and they told me I would be contacted by a service rep in the area. The following day I was contacted and made a repair appointment 2 days later. The repair person arrived ON TIME and diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. I was then called 2 days later to schedule the repair and again they were ON TIME and completed the repair. I am very happy so far with the warranty and the service performed. I would recommend this warranty to anyone concerning purchasing a home warranty
Looking at an email from Select Home Warrenty and inquired as to their service plan. Talked with a great very knowledgeable salesmen named Peter. He answered all my questions and helped me to understand what I was looking for. I purchased the plan I thought best fit my needs and am very satisfied with the outstanding service and prompt action to get my warranty to be. Thx Don

I would never recommend this service to anyone who didn't get it for free. Even then, there is likely a steep time-cost for trying to get anything done. They are a call center with a short script that will simply say "your issue is a top priority" and "while it generally takes 24-48 hours to find a vendor you should expect something sooner," no matter what your issue is or when you call, no matter how many times you call about open claims. I've had a claim open for more than a month with the same response each time. There's always "no supervisor available at this time," or "the dispatch center will escalate your claim immediately," with no real action being taken.
This company will contract the lowest bidder, someone you likely do not want repairing your appliances. I was assigned (without ever being contacted) a company to repair my machine. I found this out after waiting a week and calling back to SelectHomeWarranty. I was told I should reach out directly to the repair company myself. The company was unresponsive and their voicemail was full. Any calls to SelectHomeWarranty ended with the same back-and-forth of asking for a different vendor and never getting one.
The call center is very clearly only there to get customers off the phone in the shortest amount of time possible. They follow a very limited script and won't address any real topics or have any form of conversation that divulges from the script. There is no "support" provided.
This company was the best in price versus competitors. I'm not sure how the claim process will be since I just purchased the policy.
Mr. Steven was knowledgeable about the product. I was doing price comparison and this company beat all the prices I received for the very same products I wanted to have cover. Very friendly there was no waiting for someone to come to the line. Thank You for your help with getting my home covered.

The associate was very helpful and was able to completely resolve my issue. The only concern I have is hat they tend to speak rather fast and I have trouble processing everything they say. That aside, I was still satisfied with the associate's help.
Service is FAST. Anything you need, they will get in to of it and keep you informed. Tell them what you want and they will give you the best deal for your dollar.

I searched information on a home warranty and based on the information the rep. Gave me over the phone I went with them. The rep. Was very friendly and informative and gave me all the options and discounts available. Way to go select Home Warranty!
I called to get a quote and explained to rep I was price checking a few top rated companies. He gave me a quote and i said thanks, i have a couple more calls to make and THE SALES REP. IN HIM CAME OUT, he said if you sign up right now i can give it to you for 100.00 less than quote he just gave. I told him wow okay, let me make the rest of my calls and I will get back to you. He said that price is only good for right now. I said if you value me and want me as a customer after I do my price checking you'll give me that price when I call back! His response was quote. " THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS, GOODBYE". So I was in shock. Marked them OFF my list and moved on. Immediately my phone rang and it was someone wanting to talk to me about signing up for a contract. I have been bombarded with calls emails and text messages since that encounter. Like I've been doing a lot of research on these companies and I suggest all of you do as well before picking one because there is a lot to consider it is not as black-and-white as they make it on the phone. Read the contracts don't just take what they say all of this information is online. You will set yourself up if you do not read read read the contracts. That being said, if I am greeted with rudeness on my first phone call that makes me have zero faith in a company to be there when I need them.
The Selecthome warranty company offers false assurance and engages in deceptive and fraudulent practices. I will not recommend this company to anyone. Please view other review websites including BBB, Wahtsapp, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Staff gives you a run around on the phone when your appliance breaks. Their agents falsely advertise incentives and make you their Platinum member with $11k aggregate. I have all records of my communications with staff of Selecthome warranty company. Thank you.
We sustained a covered loss to our heating system 52 days after the contract started. Submitted a claim and received no callback. To date, we had to call select for any updates on the claim. Noticed the claim reimbursement had not been received after 30 days of submission. They denied the claim stating it was within 30 day waiting period. Obviously it is not and the waiting period would have been excluded because we had a carryover policy that ended 6 days after this policy started with HSA. They refused to allow us to talk to a manager or their attorney to resolve the claim, despite our proof in the contract that we were past the waiting period and had prior coverage that would waive the waiting period. They called back three different times to cancel the policy and charge us an early termination and pro rata fee. We refused and said they are refusing to comply with discovery in a now pending lawsuit for the claim by refusing us to speak with their supervision or attorney to clarify the contract and requirement to honor it. They are in breach of contract and when called out on this breach their response is to cancel and charge us. This is biggest scam company I have dealt with in 40 years! Stay away and go with someone reputable like HSA whom I had a claim with and had zero issues.
This company is a SCAM. I have tried to use them 3 times and all 3 times they found an excuse not to pay. I have never had one representative that spoke English clearly. Had a plumbing leak and not only they could not find me a contractor, I had to find my own. They claim my plumbing leak was not covered due some obscure clause. Take my advise and stay as far away from these SCAMMERS as possible!

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
