So far they are better than American Home Shield (which was THE worst!). I have only had to use them once and had to put that on hold because of COVID so the jury is still out as to if they are a good company or not. The service reps are usually polite though the last one was a bit of a fast talker. He did give me a good deal on a renewal, so I can't complain about that. Overall, I'm happy so far, but with reservations.
I called and spoke with Ann. Since they cannot find a service technician to come look at my clothes dryer, they offered to have me find my own and re-imburse me. Ann was helpful answering the questions I had concerning a technician and the reimbursement process.
This is my first claim with Select home. It didn't go smoothly at all as somehow communications were getting lost between them and the vendor. It took a number of tense phone calls until I got hold of Jeremy. He stayed on the line with me until we had a 3 way conference call going between him, the vendor and myself to verify they were finally receiving the work order. From there on out everything went very smoothly. The vendor they sent out, Door Pros, was absolutely top notch. Very professional and fixed my issue in a matter of minutes with no ups or extras. Although the experience started out somewhat rough, I'm very satisfied with the final outcome and somewhat relieved to know I made a good investment in Select Home.

Received a great deal for a warranty plan that covers our pool/spa. Plus the online customer service was great with a quick call back by a customer service rep. I would recommend AHW to all home owners.
I have had some difficulty getting Select to find and assign a repair person in my area. I finally had to replace myself garbage disposal for which they reimbursed me for the new one, I am still waiting over a month on them assigning someone to do an electrical repair of a light switch in my kitchen.
Person I talked to was very professional and helpful. Hopefully I'll get the same kinda service when I really need it.

We were at a crossroad trying to make a decision on a home warranty plan. We shopped for a week and David came up with the best deal. I really can't review customer service and follow through on a claim as we haven't made one yet. I will post an addendum if/when that times comes.
I called into SHW to log a claim for a repair. The issue has been resolved, technical was great to work with.
Answer: Scam. Do not trust. They lie and will NOT cover your items.

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
Answer: They are fast when signing you but so slow in responding and they are a total scam had to pay out of pocket for my leak repair that they should fix
