I didn't get the full amount I needed for the compressor but the reason was clearly written in detail on the warranty documents they emailed me. So please read your warranty to the very end so that you have a clear understanding of your responsibilities in the care of your home. There are things you have to keep up with if you own a home, like flushing the hot water heater if you have a tank. Another thing is to have your air conditioner and heating systems checked annually as well. These things will ensure that if something goes wrong, you will have met your warranty requirements. Don't think that every little thing that a heating and air check has to be done. If the price is astronomical, get a second opinion. The annual check should cost no more than $50.00 for most units.
