I was a little disappointed with the amount of refund I am getting, but they said it was because of the age of the appliance. I. Found it easy to enroll and had a good deal, that i thought was fair. I dealt with other companies that i found you couldn't rely on.
Just switched this this company from another that I'd been with for over 6 years that were rude, and not willing to answer questions. So far Select has been helpful and courteous and more importantly done what they've promised.
Courteous, fast and polite. Answered all my question. Very knowledgeable customer representative. Wasn't expecting such a fast response. Just waiting on the Tech, to get set up, and back running.
I submitted a claim on Monday and have a technician coming today, on Thursday, for a non-emergency repair. It's a bit annoying having to file the claim on-line just to be told to call in for more information, but the call center person was nice and quickly got the claim going. No issues so far.
So glad to finally take a moment to add on a home warranty. The staff was very helpful in getting me started and answering my questions by phone. Nice to have peace of mind knowing I now have coverage if ever needed. Thanks SelectHomeWarranty!
The claim contact was helpful and answered my questions. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the length of time for a call back.
Very friendly and knowledgeable service when I called. Went with the platinum coverage and had a very competitive price. One thing that stood out as a difference between other companies is that they have an $11,000 total cap for the year not an individual one per appliance, so if you have high end appliances this is much better. Most other companies give you 1500 per appliance and you have to pay the difference if it breaks.
I've always been happy with this company. They actually fix any home problem. The last one I had an electrical problem. Someone was at my door only 5 hours after submitting the problem.

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
Answer: They are fast when signing you but so slow in responding and they are a total scam had to pay out of pocket for my leak repair that they should fix
