After being with American Home Shield for 20 years, we just signed with Select today. We shopped and found a plan that offers coverage on more items for a little less money. Mark J. The person I talked to was helpful getting me the information I needed to submit a claim. I was a little disappointed with the amount of refund I am getting, but they said it was because of the age of the appliance. We did not purchase the appliances, they were in the house when we bought it 8 months ago.

I submitted a claim on Monday and have a technician coming today, on Thursday, for a non-emergency repair. It's a bit annoying having to file the claim on-line just to be told to call in for more information, but the call center person was nice and quickly got the claim going. No issues so far.

Very friendly and knowledgeable service when I called. Went with the platinum coverage and had a very competitive price. One thing that stood out as a difference between other companies is that they have an $11,000 total cap for the year not an individual one per appliance, so if you have high end appliances this is much better. Most other companies give you 1500 per appliance and you have to pay the difference if it breaks.
