It is such a relief to find such professional, thorough, and kind customer service agents on the other end of the line when you're already frustrated by having to place a claim for repair. It def makes the process easier on the customer.
The customer service has been good, problem is they dispatched a technician and after sending back the dates that would work, we heard nothing. Looked up their contact number on google and the companies (technicians) voicemail went to a persons name, not a business and no return call. Waited a week and still nothing. Called Select Warranty, they tried and got no answer as well, so now we wait for them to locate another company up to 48 more hours. It has been a week today.
The old axiom, your first impression is the one that sticks in your mind; in this case the first impression was a good one. While I have a current home warranty with another company, my experience was not the greatest, so was shopping for a new home warranty provider. After I went to the Select Home Warranty website and left contact info, i was soon contacted by a representative named "Jeff." He was very patient with me and my questions, answering them all without hesitation or any sign of deception. He explained how Select works, and then he explained the different plans and add-ons. He further wnt over the costs, discounts and extended warranty programs. Due to his responses and explanations I did something I NEVER do, and purchased an extended contract. My first interaction with Select was great; I hope and pray future interactions will be as good as my first with Jeff.
I'm pleased with the quick response of the claims that I've filed to date. Though I was not initially informed that the limits to my coverage increase over time, I'm satisfied with their quick responses and good follow up.

I purchased 5 years of service when we purchased our new home. The jury is still out regarding how well they handle claims. The lag time from call to service needs work. My expectations are high. I was pleased with their response to this claim. I found them to be polite and helpful. They even did well pronouncing Chattanooga not an easy task for someone outside the USA. I will write more after the repairs are completed and paid for.

Select Home Warranty offers great multi-year discounts! I have purchased home warranties from several other providers, but this is the first time such discount was offered.
I'm generally happy with Select Home Warranty. They do a good job of keeping in touch, and they did approve an important claim. My only hope would be for a quicker approval process. After the mechanic's diagnosis, I believe I had to wait a total of 3 days for approval.
