I called SHW with a claim for a leaking faucet, broken garbage disposal and leaking toilet. I received their response to my claims. They are in the proceedings of finding ne a plumber for the faucet. Their research found that I was entitled to $75.00 to replace my year old garbage disposer. I have to buy a new disposer and send them the receipt and be reimbursed. I have to find and pay a plumber of my choice to install the disposer. The toilet is not covered.
The sales people and customer service reps are very knowledgeable and friendly. If everything continues the same, it will be a great experience.

Call to put in a claim, did not have to sit on hold for to long. They just took the warranty information & will send out an email to let us know what company will be out to services our home.

I called to get my icemaker repaired, and was told it wasn't covered under my current contract, but that I could add it for $39.99 annually, which I am going to do. I feel it's worth it, and glad to have the option to get this added at a reasonable fee!
The agent was empathetic and quick to get the work order out. We had a tech in our house within 24 hours fixing our AC. The tech was extremely professional and knew exactly how to fix the issue right away. Our AC has been running great since then.

Sales process was good. I have not used the actual warranty so can not say much yet. They have promised if I am unhappy i can cancell any time.
The representative I spoke to told me all about the plan and what he could add at no extra cost. He gave me a quote and then offered extra months at no extra cost. Then he offered me a better deal if i paid for the 5 year contract upfront. Plus I got a free year ontop of the 5 year contract. He was very pleasant and sounded like my relative! He made me feel at ease and confident in all he said. He won my trust and I signed for the full term.

I contacted customer service about my plumbing problem. They explained the policy and told me it could be about 24 to 48 hours before I could get someone. I called back told them I had a handicapped. Husband and needed the problem fixed ASAP... They gave me another option and I was pleased

Answer: Based on Internet searches but quickly found out that they are a SCAM.
Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
