I've ordered several shades over the years with Select. This time though the shade took over a month to receive and when I was finally able to hang it, I noticed the box did not have ends in it and were just taped. One end was torn and the end cap of the shade was damaged. I tried hanging it, but the end cap gave way at the first use. Hope they can just replace the cap instead of waiting for a replacement shade.
I am renting an older house that has recently been thoroughly renovated, including new windows that swivel out for cleaning. I wanted blinds that could be installed without damaging the window sashes or impeding the window swivel, and that could be raised and lowered from top and bottom. I also hoped the blinds would provide some thermal benefit, helping to keep rooms warm in the winter and cool in the summer. As a practical matter, I also hoped to be able to install them myself, as I am a single woman living alone, and not very adept with tools and instructions. Cost was also a consideration. Select Blinds no drill cordless top down/bottom up honeycomb cellular blinds ticked all the boxes. Because I needed to mount them "outside" directly against the wooden sashes and the house and window sashes were old, I found each of the nine windows for which I was ordering slightly different widths, but each blind was manufactured individually and precisely -- not a single blind was "off". And after I figured out the instructions, the blinds were a snap to install -- 10-15 minutes per window. In short, I am a happy customer.
I ordered 2 wooden cordelss top down bottom up shades for my kitchen.
They arrived in perfect condition and work perfectly. I was very happily surprised. I also got a good discounted price. Very professional experience and absolutely no complaints - which is pretty rare for me.
My experience was very easy. I had my husband measure my windows. I placed my order, received within a couple of days of confirmation. My husband installed with little effort. Love my blonds!
I put the order in for the blinds and they came in wrong size, I tried calling the customer service and they said to write an email to their support team, I sent an email with the pictures and the measurements and they responded that they need two pictures of each blind, 10 pictures in total, I tried contacting them again telling that I've sent the pictures with the measurements but didn't get any response, then I called them again and the guy kept telling me to send more pictures even though they got the pictures with the clear measurements. At the end of the day it's so frustrating going back and forth and not getting the issue resolved. Very unprofessional customer service!

Blinds were received very timely. They are slightly lighter than what I had before. Easier to roll, but don't necessarily seem quite as sturdy. Only time will tell. Easy to I stall. I am please with my purchase. Recommended!

Took way too long arrive. When I hung blind up the White plastic chain was way too short to raise or lower the blind leaving it useless. Also the chain made a very loud clicking noise when using it. I sent 3 videos and 5 pictures of the problems, each time a different customer service agent would respond, I told them I had to take new blind down and put the one from my kitchen in place so the guest staying in the Airbnb could have some privacy. I had packed up the defective blind to be sent back and they kept asking for more videos? Well after more than 3 weeks and several attempts for a resolution I am leaving my Honest review. I have zero experience ordering window treatments and the process was very easy for me. I love all the quality options available - the color and fabric of my motorized blinds are perfect.
Vertical Blinds packaged well for shipment. Mounting them over a patio door, instructions not clear for determining height for bracket mount, but I got it after awkward trials holding railing up by hand. Adjustable distance from wall not emphasized enough - had to move clips on bracket to access screws to mount brackets to wall, and put clips back at mid range after mounting. Once I had blind mounted, found vertical slats were hitting door trim. Had to take blind back down to move clips to full extension from wall so slats would clear trim. Valance installaton was nowhere near what was in instructions or on videos. I got rounded corners, and they did not match anything in instructions. I had to figure out how to assemble and mount the corner. The valance piece was much longer than needed, and I had to figure out how to cut it to length. The one good point, slat installation was very easy. In all, installation took a lot longer than it should have if the instructions had been more thorough and accurate.
Once installed, the blinds are exactly what we wanted. Good quality, good color, work well. Only wish is that the rod diameter was slightly larger so it would be easier to grip when adjusting slat angle.
We received the blinds but have not put them up yet so we cannot comment on quality or other aspects of the blinds.
I am missing the spacers though. I am glad you sent the survey because I tried emailing and didn't get a response. So if anyone could send me the spacers that would be great! Thank u
I had a good experience ordering from Selectblinds.com. The website clearly describes how to measure and ensure you're getting the correct sized blinds. The price also made the blinds a solid value, and have been a nice upgrade over the mix and match blinds in my house previously. All 11 blinds we ordered fit perfectly. We did have one issue with a small crack in 1 of the valances, but Selectblinds had a easy warranty claim process, and sent me a replacement with no hassle. The lifting/lowering mechanism takes a little getting used to, but after a few days you get the hang of it. And the windows look really nice without cords or wands in the way. Would buy again.

We ordered a shade with a motorized wand for a bathroom window that is high and hard to access. The shade was shipped within a few days and fit our window perfectly. The motorized wand is a very nice feature and solved our problem.
Was initially disappointed that my package arrived to a vacation home earlier than expected and somehow was torn & runover by a vehicle (!) before I could receive it. Thankfully the reporting process was quick and easy, and a replacement shipment was sent very quickly. Now that I have the shade installed, with top & bottom adjustable opening, it perfectly suits my need in the dining room to regulate the light that comes in... and at a great price! Thanks to your great staff for their help with the damaged shipment!
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
