Shipping was fairly quick, the blinds seem to be good quality, but they are far from "blackout blinds" I gave exact measurements (I've got more than 3 decades experience in home repair, I'm no stranger to measuring windows) and there is still 3/4" or more gap on each side which pretty much defeats the purpose blackout blinds. I have bought blinds from Lowe's that were much cheaper that work way better than these. I dont hate them, its just the whole point of buying blackout blinds was to significantly darken the room.

Good deal but shipping a week late

Second time I ordered. On line process easy.
This order was placed so I would get a few days before my trip to Pittsburgh to install in his bedroom
They were to be delivered on Wednesday and did not come until the following week which meant I had to make a second trip the following week to Pittsburgh to deliver and install the shades
Called customer service and got no satisfaction
Don't guarantee a delivery date and miss by a week One of the smaller blinds keeps coming off of the window opening does not snap secure.

Nice Blinds

Was looking for an alternative to the very expensive custom blinds and the very cheap home-improvement store blinds and this has fulfilled that need. We didn't spring for the headers, which ended up being a bit of a problem, but we made due with some molding that looks just as nice if not better.
We are curious to see how well they hold up in our rental Beachhouse and for how long.
Instructions could've been better rather than just pictures mostly.

Difficult installation
June 3, 2025

Measuring for Dual Shades or Zebra blinds is extremely difficult. The brackets vary for each closing type and getting the fit right is hard. I have installed 11 select binds in my house with no problem, but these I had to have 2 remade at my expense. However, the end result is great. Everyone ordering these should speak with representative and buy the measurement insurance.

Awesome blinds

This is my third time ordering lines from select blinds in the last 5 years. I've added new windows last year and then added a couple newer Windows this year including a sunroom that had Windows put in it. Each and every time the measurements have been exact what I have put in to be made. I've never had any trouble with the blinds going up or down. The ones I've had for 5 years are still great and look like news.

This is the second time in 2 years that I bought blinds from select blinds. They're great value great price and my measurements never failed with their instructions. I have thought four blinds for my windows for my house a couple years ago. This year I have a sunroom built and I had six larger Windows put in it. I was going to make curtains or shears for it and then said to myself, no select blinds is what I need. Thanks

I'm very happy w the quality my cellular shades. They look beautiful. The only problem we had was with the installation. They didn't snap in easily to the brackets. We had to hire a carpenter to install them. He had to pull out the brackets with a screwdriver because they were too tight. I've bought these before and had no problem installing them myself. Wish they hadn't changed the brackets. Other than that issue I love them.

Love the blinds but it arrived without the valance or the valance mounting hardware. Took multiple several contacts with customer service who were very nice but getting status or plan for getting the valance were not forthcoming. Weeks went by and then the valance arrived out of the blue. No coordination of of the very long shipment so if I was not home it could have been damaged. Great blind - very poor customer experience.

Poor packaging this time.

I've ordered several shades over the years with Select. This time though the shade took over a month to receive and when I was finally able to hang it, I noticed the box did not have ends in it and were just taped. One end was torn and the end cap of the shade was damaged. I tried hanging it, but the end cap gave way at the first use. Hope they can just replace the cap instead of waiting for a replacement shade.

Very satisfied

I am renting an older house that has recently been thoroughly renovated, including new windows that swivel out for cleaning. I wanted blinds that could be installed without damaging the window sashes or impeding the window swivel, and that could be raised and lowered from top and bottom. I also hoped the blinds would provide some thermal benefit, helping to keep rooms warm in the winter and cool in the summer. As a practical matter, I also hoped to be able to install them myself, as I am a single woman living alone, and not very adept with tools and instructions. Cost was also a consideration. Select Blinds no drill cordless top down/bottom up honeycomb cellular blinds ticked all the boxes. Because I needed to mount them "outside" directly against the wooden sashes and the house and window sashes were old, I found each of the nine windows for which I was ordering slightly different widths, but each blind was manufactured individually and precisely -- not a single blind was "off". And after I figured out the instructions, the blinds were a snap to install -- 10-15 minutes per window. In short, I am a happy customer.
