Purchased blinds on-line. Made measurement adjustment on order, but failed to read all of the documents that were linked to order page. One of the linked documents apparently said they would automatically make the adjustments. It is my fault I did not review all of the links, but I sure would have felt better if there was a notation or pop-up when typing in my measurements that said they would not be sending me blinds with my typed in measurements, but would automatically be making adjustments so I had a chance to take that fact into account before submitting the final order. Seems like an easy fix to improve transparency and give a buyer better heads up that adjustments would be automatically handled on their end rather than expecting the buyer to sift through all on-line linked materials to find that hidden, but crucial nugget.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE

I INITIALLY ORDERED 4 OF THE Traditional Light Filtering Dual Shades for a corner window/door situation. Motorized. Dark Brown. They could not be more perfact. After seeing them installed, I then ordered two more of the same shade for a master bedroom and closet door -- no motor -- dark brown. Again -- perfect. Am so happy with these purchases.

Shipping updates not accurate

We waived the 24 hr wait time to cancel as we needed the blinds ASAP. Every time I checked, starts was in production. I called several times, to find out the status. They said it would have to come from the production floor. Our order was placed 6/22/24, we received them on 7/9/24.
The shdes were as described, but the top magnet on the main bedroom window shade is faulty. When you pull the shade down, the connection disengage, leaving a space between the shade and top portion of the connecting box. I can't afford to send back the shade and go without it for several weeks.

The website was clunky to navigate and the sale prices did not always show up in the cart. Once ordered processing and shipping were relatively fast. My roller shades are ok. The finishing along the upgraded valance is very rough and uneven. There were frayed ends of the fabric exposed. The roller shade functions well. The no drill application was super easy but leaves visible hardware above the shade and valence.
Overall it was an average experience and product. Seems overpriced for what I received and that was with a 40% discount 🙄

Great customer service. Delivery of product took approx 6 weeks...way too long. Fairly easy customization online. Installation DOES NOT take 20 minutes as stated. There were inaccurate instructions and unclear parts and what to do with them. Took my husband, who is very handy, about 3 hours to install correctly basically without instructions because they didn't match the product we received. Also, the header did not match. 🙄

I ordered online and got an email saying the blinds were back ordered for 6 weeks. I needed blinds before that, so called and canceled the order. I then ordered from another company as Select didn't have anything else that would work. Then a week later both orders arrived on the same day and was charged for them. Select blinds customer service was nice but unhelpful. After several calls where nobody called back,I took it up with my credit card company. I was told tuff, all sales are final.

Solar Shades for Sun Room

We love the new shades! They fit perfectly and updated the look of the room tremendously. Before the room looked like Grandma's attic with rose colored shades. The new shades give the room a sleek, modern look. They work well in reducing the heat in the space without sacrificing light. The gray shade of the blinds match the walls perfectly. I can't say enough about the advice and assistance AJ gave me as I went through the process of picking out and measuring for the new blinds. I was afraid I would not measure correctly, but his explanation of how the blinds are intended to fit and how to insure an accurate measurement was perfect. If I ever need more shades, I would definitely order them from Select Blinds and I would definitely recommend them to my friends. You can't beat the price or the style.

Ooops, I did it again

I ordered two large blinds with a pricetag of +$500 for a gift. I admit i mistakenly switched the measurements on one, to my peril it was totally unstable the other, the best I can say is it does the job. I called select blinds and admitted my mistake, instead of being understanding, they blatantly pointed out they were unable to help, as I did not buy the fit guarantee. They offered me a discount to buy again, I declined, just to warn others, wherever the fit guarantee box was, it was not easily visible to me. Terrible customer service

Our experience with Select Blinds has been fantastic and exemplary from start to finish. Each and every Select staffer I spoke with on the phone or chatted with online were extremely knowledgeable about your product line and grades, friendly and articulate! Wow! Emily, our sales rep, and earlier Abby, answered every single one of my concerns with assurance backed up with expert knowledge. Emily was extremely patient - and worked with me over the phone as I checked and re-checked our three windows' dimensions and requirements.
Our Motorized Architect black-out blinds arrived carefully packed and promptly. Even so, there was damage to one of the three blind's cassette right-side end-cap. I quick online chat with a Select staffer, followed immediately by an email confirming expedited shipment of a replacement end cap impressed us immeasurably with your company.
Installation instructions could be improved with a little more product-specific detail; especially when blinds cannot be mounted over a wall stud, but this is just a suggestion.
We found the workmanship and fit and finish as near perfect as one could ask. Your assemblers deserve a great deal of credit for this. Just beautiful. I should also mention that the "Barista" finish is a perfect match for our great room's paint color.
We are thrilled with the three blinds we purchased from you. -And watching them lower and raise in perfect synchronization with a button-press from our remote is quite frankly a joy - and still loads of fun. They really look stunning over our windows. You deserve a perfect "10" for the care and courtesy we enjoyed through the entire selection, purchase, shipment and post-purchase care you showed us!

My new blinds look great. I had trouble with installation of new brackets. NEW style less obvious to attach to upper sill. BUT...I called and received great support, with pictures, and encouragement.
