Stay away from Seat Geek. They engage in dishonest, shady and non-transparent business practices. I purchased for 4 tickets for an NBA game which we were planning to attend for our upcoming trip to Orlando. However, our plans changed and we can no longer go to the game. I contacted SeatGeek within 24 hours of purchase to cancel our tickets and request a refund and at this point there are still 13 days to the game. In all fairness, their FAQ section states that refunds may not be possible. What I don't understand is that Seat Geek claims to be the seller when you purchase the tickets but when I contacted their customer service I was told that the ticket was sold by a "Fellow fan that used SeatGeek Marketplace"! They claim to be transparent but why hide who the actual seller is? When you are in a marketplace website such as Ebay, Amazon or Etsy, you clearly know who the seller is. However, that is not the case with SeatGeek. Instead, they like to lie about it!
Loved the map and fast service, easy to maneuver and prices were good. I do feel the fees are a little high.
After looking at every ticket site I came back to seat geek every time! They had the best prices, easy to use and lowest fees. Highly recomend!
Great time. First hockey game. Great price. Great seats. Go Hawks. Glad i could experience my first time with such an easy purchase of the tickets.
Every ticket you buy tells you printing required on the tickets page, even when they are e-tickets. Ive printed multiple e-tickets unnecessarily because I worry that they will not work if I do not. Also all of the promo codes I have entered for some reason do not work on my purchases, even on eligible for promo code tickets
Hi Michell, thanks for the feedback! For further explanation, when a ticket is marked as "e-ticket", that simply means that the ticket will be delivered electronically rather than physically through the mail or at a box office. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will be able to be scanned from a mobile device. Whether or not that' the case is decided wholly by the venue. Ideally, all tickets can be scanned right from our app or the SeatGeek website, but some venues do require tickets to be printed.
In regards to the promo codes--some of our promo codes are only valid on a user's first purchase. So, if you're purchased tickets in the past on SeatGeek (even if it was on a different account), those promo codes won't be redeemable. However, if you're looking to redeem a different promo code and it's not allowing you to, that's definitely something we can look into! Just send our support team and email or give them a call and we'll look into what might be going on there.

Plenty of different seats and price ranges for events I was looking into. Purchasing tickets on App was a breeze.
Great value for my tickets, but I needed to buy a total of seven but could only buy 6 because the choices were 2 or 4. So four of us will be together and the others will be separated.
I've bought tickets for several events now, always very easy and smooth. Paying the fee's suck but otherwise no problems.
I would like for someone to call me regarding this as I need a refund for my ticket. The seller sold my roommate and I the same ticket so I was not able to get in. I had to purchase another ticket in front of the venue.
Please call me at *******507 or refund my money at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.
We have exchange students who love to see sporting events while they are here. It can be expensive, but with Seat Geek we can afford to take the kids to a few events each year. Thanks
Very easy to use Great selection and will definitely use in the future will definitely recommend to all my family and friends and tell them how you do not have to pay any fees when purchasing tickets. They have a wide selection of shows and sporting events to choose from.
My first experience using this site. No problems. Good price, good seats and no trouble with app that had tickets. Would use again.
SeatGeek is easy to use for booking the soccer games I go to. I love the feature that shows how good a deal tickets are. When showing the tickets at the venue, things load easily and quickly.
Very convenient and easy to use. Not having to print tickets is a plus too! Just pull out your smart phone and they scan it just like a ticket. I wish the fees were cheaper though.
Transaction fees are ridiculous. Wont be using this service as much because of this. Otherwise the site is easy to use and convenient
The process was quick and easy. Thank you!
(Really? A character limit on a review? Now I'm just typing characters)
The only thing I dont like about this site is the we dont have tickets thing.
I love that it shows me prices after fees. I love it shows me a deal score. I love that it actually got tickets to a game happening in less than an hour.
I dont like that I have to wait for another website to finish a sale to get tickets. That 30 min window from Confirmed to in hand is terrifying. I would not buy GREAT Tickets from this site cause of the in between time and the chance they may not be as available as the website says.
If you want my business reliably I would prefer knowing where the tickets were otherwise posted - or coming from.
I guess my biggest problem with this game is that the FBI is utilizing public funds for a witch hunt all in the name of the NCAA's scam of amateurism, a model that is based on the false assumption that athletes' labor is adequately compensated by a university education despite the fact that their work could gain them far more in the open market. This system seems designed to denigrate their work, as though it is something less valuable than standard employment, which is not impeded by business practices promoted by our government. But I guess that's not SeatGeek's fault. The seats were okay. I lost money at the casino. The end.
Love that its so easy and quick! Usually get all my sports tickets through them and a few concert tickets. Best prices. Would totally recommend!
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team

Hi Bulent, thanks for the feedback. We can definitely try to clarify this for you!
SeatGeek does function as a marketplace where hundreds of buyers and sellers can list, sell, and buy tickets. Because of the nature of the secondary market (and the ticket market in general) cancellations and refund cannot be issued once an order is confirmed. Since ticket essentially have an "expiration date", buyers are committed to the purchase once it's submitted. If the tickets can't be used for any reason after that purchase has gone through, it is the buyer's responsibility to resell that ticket if they'd like to recoup the cost of it!
In regards to how the seller is displayed on the site--for security reasons, we cannot display some of our seller's personal information. We at SeatGeek act as representatives of the ticket sellers, but do not own the inventory. We're happy to provide the support and answer any questions we can directly to the buyer or the seller, but we cannot provide the seller's personal, private information on the site. We apologize if that was not made clear prior to purchasing your tickets.
It does look like a few of our representatives have already assisted you with this, but if you ever need further clarification, we'd be more than happy to help. Feel free to contact our support team or visit our FAQ at Seatgeek.com/FAQ.
