As a follow up to my previous review, I spent over 4 hours on the phone with various customer service reps and supervisors and none of them provided a reasonable solution to my issue (paying me the $6 for the sale of my ticket or issuing me enough credit so that I could buy a ticket to a future event without having to pay any money - a $10 credit is essentially an obligation to buy something). Further, when I spoke with Nixon (a customer support supervisor), he assured me he would do two things for me: 1. Email me the information that I needed to try and get a refund from ticketmaster and 2. Provide a $20 credit to SeatGeek. He did neither of those things. After all the conversations on the phone, it took me placing a public review for the company to actually apologize for not following it's own protocols and consistently misinforming me. This is incredibly disingenuous. I was told by Nixon that there was absolutely no way that I could ever be paid and I was told by King, a different supervisor, to "Just let it go." But as soon as I start making my experience known to the public, the Company is very accomodating and apologetic. So disgusting. I won't ever buy or sell tickets with SeatGeek.
I sold two tickets to a concert where the headliner cancelled. I sent emails prior to the show asking if I needed to do anything, but I was assured that I would still be paid, and it was the ultimate buyer's responsibility to use the tickets for the rescheduled show. I was paid for one ticket, but then when I inquired about payment for the second ticket, I was told that I wouldn't be paid for the other one because the show was changed. I initiated all communication and they never reached out to let me know that I wouldn't be paid (not following their own policy) and everytime I called, they told me that they would look into it and they never got back to me. I had to keep calling. I'm still waiting for my payment.
Well everything was easy to choose the seat to pay and print
I like it so much, like my other previous purchases.
No email link for my ticket. I made two orders three days apart. I still haven't received the first ticket ordered. And the game is tomorrow. Not Happy.
Prices very good. Lots of availability both as to events and ticket locations. Only problem is that a do not normally carry a cell phone, so the "easy" method of accessing tickets isn't easy for me - don't even have your app. Need to print tickets.
The ticket request gave section and row number, but not the seat number. Did not know what seat I had til I purchased the ticket.
Hi Claudia!
Thanks so much for leaving us this feedback. I can absolutely see why this would seem confusing, but I can definitely shed some light on why it is we don't make actual seat numbers visible before purchase.
As a ticket platform, we can only work with what info sellers provide. And unfortunately we never know exactly where in a row seats will be because sellers don’t make seat numbers available ahead of time. We're really just the search engine connecting buyers to sellers, so as long as the inventory isn't in *our* hands (rather, it's in our sellers'), we can't display seat numbers that we don't know.
All tickets listed on SeatGeek within the same listing are next to each other, though, unless it says otherwise in the notes. So if you’re buying more than one ticket from a listing, they’re guaranteed to be adjacent.
What's more, I looked into your order specifically, and it looks like this show is all GA, meaning General Admission. So, the "seat number" written on your ticket, next to where it says "GA" is actually just for bookkeeping purposes-- you can sit where you like at this show!
I hope that clears things up for you, but please do feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns!

Buying tickets is incredibly easy. Like tinder, just takes a few swioes and you're done! Wish it was as easy to sell though. Loading info for payouts takes forever.
Great and easy
I like the maps that show sears and sat numbers
Also like the variety of all the home and away events
I have always used Stubhub, however, I think SeatGeek might have lower prices and I like the way you can shop by the total seat price rather than guessing what you are spending.
Anytime I want to see a concert a game or any event I go to SeatGeek. The app isn't very easy to use and they always have the best prices.
No issues, everything went nice and smooth. App is easy to use and allows you to see where your sitting.
We found great tickets at a great value! The tickets were transferred over to us within minutes. We will definitely use again!
Always wonderful experiences with this app!
Thanks for creating it! And. Making life so much easier for ticket purchasing!
Great seats fare price. My family and I enjoyed the experience. Would definitely use seat geek again.
I got tickets using Ticketmaster. I have app but I couldn't use it. It was only on line to get tickets from Ticketmaster
Really liked the ease of the tickets being on my phone app immediately and not having to waste time and paper to print. Also the ability to look at the view from the seat is a big plus for sporting events.
I was visiting Boston and bought tickets to a show, everything worked smoothly, except that it wouldn't accept international phone numbers. If that is fixed it would be a lot easier to use as a foreign visitor.
Tried to buy multiple tickets in different areas for a company gathering but it would only let me select one set of tickets. I needed to be able to put it in a cart, contunue shopping and check out at the end. Instead, I had to make multiple transactions.
Hi Michael,
Thanks so much for the feedback, here. We can totally understand why that would be frustrating functionality for our site, and how it would add some convenience to be able to purchase multiple listings at once. The reason this isn't currently possible on our platform is that SeatGeek functions in the secondary ticket market-- folks reselling their tickets-- so the inventory doesn't all belong to one entity. Since a lot of our sellers are just regular users like you trying to sell tickets that they can no longer use, enabling buyers to put their inventory on hold indefinitely while they browse, prohibiting other customers from purchasing that ticket, and with the chance that the ticket may or may not ultimately be bought by the customer putting it on hold-- that would put our sellers at a real disadvantage.
Again, we can totally see the appeal of being able to place some listings on hold while you look for the rest of the seats you'd like to buy. But, for now, this is the best balance we've found between serving our buyers and our sellers. We hope you understand, since it's never our goal to inconvenience any of our customers.

Love this site for tickets! I typically find better seats here than on any other site and it's so easy to purchase and receive! Thank you SeatGeek!
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better

Hi Million B!
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention here. We looked into this order and our records show that these tickets were sent to you on 8/14, the same day as your purchase. It also looks like we never heard from you directly on this either, so we were never apprised of an issue. Hopefully this means that you found the ticket transfer in your e-mail inbox in time for the game, and all is well! If not, though, please feel free to reach out to us at any of our contact channels below, so we can see what happened here and do whatever we can to help take care of you.
Please let us know!
