This is a rip off. The tickets offered and clicked on for purchase were not what I got. I immediately reached out, but they WILL NOT refund. All sales final- even if it's not what you order! I spent an hour, trying to remain calm, not be a pain. But, ALL SALES FINAL! It's not worth the risk. I got better tickets for a better price on a different site. No problem, so there were available choices. DONT DO IT! 26 dollar transaction fee for each ticket too!
Purchased 2 tix to an event 7 mo ago. Did't receive any correspondence at all. 2 days prior to the event I reached out on the event. Didn't receive any communication at all and didn't go to the event. Lost $700. Afterwards, I finally chatted with a rep and was shown a std email supposedly sent to me 7 mo ago. I informed the rep that I never received anything and his response was basically too bad. They have no process of notifying customers of upcoming events that have been already paid.
Cold not get tickets to Download. Had to go thru my MLB app to actuall get the tickets. No help, only chats with a computer.
Terrible ticket company; not willing to help with postponed and/or switching for better seats (at a higher price). Try staying away from this company people.
Hey just want to give a heads up Seat Geek is a rip off. If anything happens to your event they will not stand behind their sale of the ticket. If it's moved to a date you can't make … it's your tuff luck … Avoid them at all cost
Worst company I have ever done business with please. Please do not use this company if you don't have to, they don't care about their customers. They double charge me for the authorization hold against my account plus charge me after that, then when it didn't go through, sold my seats to someone else, and then after an hour and a 1/2 on the phone, want to offer me $20. What an insult and Nothing compared to the $430 that I was going to spend. It's sad to see A big casino using this terrible company to host their events. Teaming up with a company. With a 3.5 rating, you don't deserve that.
It scam my money :(( ((
You will lose money once you need to refund or exchange tickets
If you repurchase it with a promote code( they trade you from refund) it will become Ticketmaster ticket, you keep losing money whether keep it or sell it.
No phone agent to help you fix problem and no live chat or email
It is super scammy
I lost $274 for 2 tickets :(( (
Never use this company to purchase tickets. I bought 4 tickets and they charged a $118 service fee PER TICKET! After they charged my card $1800, I asked to cancel the order, and they refused to stop the credit card charge and said they can only issue me a "promo" voucher to use on a future purchase. They also said I could resell the tickets on another platform, but the tickets don't arrive to my email until 3 days before the concert. (if they arrive!) This company is a scam and I am very disappointed. I will be writing more bad reviews about them until they go out of business.
Real returns are available at the box office. No hidden expensive fees and parking included. Also, Seatgeek disable the customer service phone number, they work like scams! Keep way from SeatGeek!
There is a thing called morals and then there is SEATGEEK 375.00 for 40.00 parking at Miller stadium Biggest ripoff that there ever is. There is no justificayion for ripping people off. I hope the IRS and who ever else looks in to you business practice! Shuts you company down and reinbusrt so many victims...
You can't purchase more than one parking pass… I'm sure they just want more customer info to sell $$$$.
P.O.S(piece of) app only allows you to buy one at a time, waste of time, this is why I don't even go to concerts anymore, all this technology and no efficiency at all.
5 months ago I purchased tickets to a baseball game that sat in confirmed. 3 months prior to the event I contacted SeatGeek and asked what the problem was? They informed me that sellers have up until 24 hours of the event to send me the tickets, and that their policy ensured the seller could not cancel the tickets. Less than 24 hours before the game I still had nothing, and called the support line. They informed me they would contact the seller and I would receive a call back in 1-2 hours. I did not. So I call back and they tell me they are escalating this to their supervisors to look into getting me replacement seats. Give them 1-2 hours and they will call me back. Nothing. The morning of the event I still did not have tickets, and am traveling into Canada to see the Blue Jays game, so I call back. They tell me again that the supervisors are looking into approving me for replacement seats, they will call me back in 1-2 hours. Nothing. Less than 1 1/2 hours before the gates open (mind you this was player ceremony and promotional event so I wanted to get in early) I call again. They say I have been approved for replacement seats, and that they will call me back in 30 minutes to an hour. Nothing. With 30 minutes left I had no choice but to purchase additional tickets. SeatGeek never once called me back after promising to do so 4 times. 2 days after the event I call and demand to speak with a supervisor. I am told by a representative to give them 2 hours and they will call me back. At this point I am sure you know what happened next, nothing. So I call back again and demand to speak with a supervisor. After 72 hours of hell while traveling in a foreign country, I am finally connected with a supervisor. They offer me the refund on my ticket I never received. I tell them at this point, that is insulting after what I have been through. After waiting 45 minutes on hold, they tell me they will offer me an additional $20 promo. I didn't call looking for much of a compensation, but I wanted to be heard and at least receive something for the torment they put me through. And the best they could offer me was $20, a fraction of what my seats cost. Do not waste your time with SeatGeek. The company worth millions does not care about you as its customer.
Seat geek charged me $310 for 2 $25 tickets they said you can cancel within 72 hours, that's a bold face lie Itried to cancel my order within a few hours and they wouldn't give me my money back calling them several times going back and forth with them on the phone was like talking to a wall David at seat geek was a stone idiot very rude wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, after I made my purchase there was no confirmation # no nothing except a $310 charge made on my bank statement the seller and seat geek were making a $240 profit on $50 which I did not agree to, I've turned this over to my Bank for investigation buyers beware DO NOT use seat geek to purchase tickets, the mark up is phenomenal SHEER GREED!
I got tickets to louder than life festival. It was advertised that I was buying an e ticket. They instead delivered a paper that I have to print out that says not a ticket for entry and I have to exchange it at the box office. I'm coming from 5 hours away and I don't feel secure that I will get in. I tried to get a refund so I could buy them on a secure site and I can only sell it for half the price. I really hope this works
Coming from out of town for and event. My purchase did not say immediate delivery, but telling they will arrive with 24 hours of the event is scary and not acceptable. What if i have no access to print? It's funny how they glorify instant delivery but but 24 hour rule somewhere different. Try contacting them all I got was a bot
Here is my email to seat geek the day after they took my money for tickets I never used: Please refund me the money I asked for in an email I sent to seat geek right after I paid you $106.12, when 4 tickets were $15 = $60. It was after I paid that that I found out there was an $11.40 charge for each ticket. I then said through an email: please cancel... and this was a day before the game. The game is over now, I cannot sell the tickets from the past. I want the charge you took from my bank account erased or refunded or I will be going to my bank to file fraud charges against seat geek.
The photo was taken by me of the game in question. It shows the stadium was less than half full. I bought tickets at the park the day of the game, I never accepted anything seat geek sent me online. I also included my bank statement showing that they have taken money out of my account after the game.
Hefty fee charged to both seller and buyer; it tried to tell which ticket is more worthy, but it failed badly since it doesn't understand each stadium or concert hall. Overall, very bad.
I accidentally lost a festival wristband from an order of three and contacted SeatGeek to help me resolve the matter together with the seller (and original wristband buyer).
The festival would issue a replacement wristband if the original buyer would just contact them and plan a pick up at Will Call.
While SeatGeeks individual support agents were all very polite and understanding on the phone, they kept promising a call back, or an email back once they had spoken with seller yet they never did.
Over the course of one week of trying to solve the matter, and 4 promises of follow ups that never happened, forcing me to call back for an update and talk with a new agent, they never solved the issue.
SeatGeek was unwilling to work with myself and seller to get a replacement. They were also unwilling to connect me with seller to resolve the matter.
It's my fault for losing the band in the first place.
But since there was a way to get it replaced I don't understand why SeatGeek would first give me the false, repeated impression of helping only to never really help.
I paid $240 in SeatGeek fees for these wristbands. Besides wristband authentication, I a lot more service and I'd also expect a resolution on such a simple (and I'm sure not unusual) problem…
SeatGeek sold a game ticket and parking, took my money, "confirmed" the purchases by email, and didn't deliver that ticket leaving me stuck outside the gate at a sold out game. After I stood in the heat for an hour talking to customer service, SG said they would refund the ticket money, but they WOULD NOT refund parking because I used it. Obviously, I only battled ballgame traffic and parked at the stadium because SeatGeek "confirmed" I had a ticket to the game. SG kept money for parking (including fees that they charged beyond what the seller received) after they falsely said I had a ticket. Won't use again. Would recommend looking for another company that has better customer service, just in case something goes wrong.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
