You cannot resell them on that site if your plans change. You have to use another site. None of that is made particularly clear in the fine print. There is an offer for a refund of some kind - I guess bank the price of the ticket less the $100 (!) in fees? Hard to tell. But a couple days before the event, when you realize it won't sell is too late to get the refund. So you don't really have time to re-sell. You can be on CHAT with them twice, and they won't warn you. Predatory business practices; buyer beware!

A wee bit of a rip off
December 30, 2023

I bought tickets to an event and a parking pass. I pay 20.00 on the site for the parking pass, then when I get to the event the parking price was only 10.00...Im not a happy camper!

Price goes up with coupon
December 21, 2023

I priced tickets for an event and Seat Geek was in the middle. An hour or so later I received a 15% off promo code if I bought within 7 days. Interesting how the ticket cost went up to counter the discount. Crooked for sure. And tickets did not go up in price at any other websites!

I bought Morgan Wallen concert tickets during presale—they were quick to charge my card IMMEDIATELY. Months later when I realized I would not be able to go and wanted to sell them and just break even (which I did), they inform me I will have to WAIT on my money from the resale of my tickets for over 7 months until after the event has passed despite the tickets never leaving their hands from purchase to resale. They charge you immediately (including their ridiculous fees) when you purchase tickets but hold on to your money for a crazy amount of time when you resale tickets. Should be a crime! Will NEVER buy or sell tickets through their platform again!

SHORT VERSION: Avoid this company at all costs. They make it impossible to speak with a rep or communicate directly at all costs. After finally getting a phone call be prepared to be on there for 45 minutes minimum. If the rep doesn't have a solution, there will never be one. They'll tell you a supervisor will call you back. No they won't. When you call back and wait another 45 minutes, they'll say they're going to transfer to a supervisor. Straight to voicemail. I'm convinced this company might just be defrauding people or they'll hide behind their policies and say they're making reasonable efforts. Avoid this company.

LONG VERSION: I was heavily attracted to SeatGeek because of their affordable prices. I signed up for an account and didn't use it for a while. When I bought tickets and had them transferred to my account I found that they had deleted and blocked my account without notice. Okay, understandable.

Then the horror that is this sham of a company reared its ugly head. I noticed my account was blocked on the way to the event. I struggled to find how to communicate with an agent because actually getting any communication aside from their FAQ page is difficult. (This is a common theme of their business).

Once I got in touch, I communicated with a rep for over 30 minutes on their app getting absolutely nowhere. I was This forced me to go to will call at the stadium where others were also ironically dealing with SeatGeek issues. After waiting in line, I got my tickets within 10 minutes. When I got back on the app a few hours later and told them the story they reinstated my account within 5 minutes but refused to acknowledge their complete lack of assistance earlier.

I've now been trying to speak with a supervisor to explain the situation for 3 weeks. I've been on 3 phone calls all over 45 minutes where they defer to a supervisor. They say they'll have a supervisor call me. Days later nothing. I call back, they say they'll transfer me directly, straight to voicemail.

These ticket companies pop out of nowhere with cheap prices and it seems really enticing. But this has been a total rip off. I missed a chunk of my event because of their incompetence. Now I can't even speak with a supervisor because of their nonexistent customer service and complete lack of care. This is a company operating in bad faith.

I gave one start because I could not give a zero. I ordered two tickets to Hadestown, and the tickets never showed up. They said they would call back in two hours but never did. They claimed another email address was on file- one I had never heard of. I verified who I was and the order number, provided a copy of the email they sent me confirming the order and verified my credit card number- they said there was nothing they could do. The credit card company was immediately notified- do not trust them!

Purchase tickets and not only was the tickets very difficult and long to purchase but the price was very misleading. The purchase price was $530 and once payment was submitted the total came to $808. $200+ in service fees and $60+ in taxes. No warning at an expensive price to pay. More than half of original price.

They ran multiple charges on my card for some NFL tickets. They all went through on my card, but were immediately reversed by Seat Geek. Seat Geek has no support number. My credit card provider helped me reach a support rep at Seat Geek.

The out of country support rep, told me that I was making mistakes with my credit card information. I had not, I double checked it after the first issue. And the credit card provider was accepting the charges. It is a valid card, with a huge limit. I tried another card, same issue. Now I am locked out of their system for 24 hours.

All I wanted to do, was take my grandson to his first NFL game. I spent three hours on this.

Seat Geek is awful, unethical, and unhelpful. Horrible Experience. Canceling my account.

I recently purchased tickets to Absinthe at the Spiegeltent - Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas. In the process of my purchase I picked the wrong date but as soon as completed my orders I knew I had made a mistake. Guess what…Seat Geek does not give a crap that your out several hundred dollars! There is no customer service to correct the error. No way to exchange. It is really sad. I will NEVER use this trash app again and I suggest anyone considering doing so… DON'T or you may have to take one to the chin like me

Misleading and intentionally evasive
December 3, 2023

Zero stars! I bought a "returnable" ticket, but when I tried to return it (within less than 48 hours) I was only offered a "promo code" which essentially is just a credit to your account to use on future ticket purchases. When you click on the information explaining what a returnable ticket is, the verbiage is intentionally misleading, never saying annything about a returnable ticket, only mentioning their ticket "swap" program. I thought they were talking about two different programs and was confused. When I tried to speak to a supervisor and explain this (within 48 hours of purchasing my ticket) they just said that all sales are final. I hope someone approaches their misuse of verbiage with legal action and reports them to the BBB. Unethical and misleading. Return does not mean swap. Promo code does not mean return. Their fees are outrageous too. What a scam. Terrible terrible company.

Deceptive return policy

Bought tickets that said, returnable by a certain day. However, I found cheaper tickets with a better view and when I called them to find out they said tickets were only exchangeable for credit

My husband purchased a parking pass from you late in the day on Friday, November 17th. We attended a Penn State football game. After we arrived at our designated parking lot, we were told quite rudely told this pass is no good. We showed the "supervisor" at the lot that we had a barcode. Once we made arrangements to get the pass printed, he then said they will NOT accept it. That pass cost $200+!

Seriously, how were we able to purchase a bogus pass from your company? Is this a scam? Needless to say, we were extremely livid and will NEVER use your services again. I will tell everyone how horrible your customer service is.

Your phone number is out of service. Your corporate phone # is always busy. And you have NOT responded to my husband's email.

They sold me undisclosed obstructive view tickets for ALCS game despite website stating any tickets with obstructive or limited view must be disclosed as such. After several online chats and finally speaking with a live person (very difficult) I was refused a refund or credit even though they sold me fraudulent tickets. We could not even see the game being played yet they said All Sales Final. Their website acts like they are legitimate but they cannot be a legitimate company and I'm disappointed in MLB for referring people to SeatGeek. It's a baseball game, when you cannot see the pitcher, batter, catcher then you are not experiencing the live game which I paid a lot of $ to attend as a special occasion.
Stay away from SeatGeek!

Fraudulent practices
November 5, 2023

I bought 3 tickets to a show at the Berkeley Theatre for myself and my kids. Both SeatGeek and the venue showed that the GA seating was in the main amphitheater and the floor. When I arrived the venue was over booked and we were told to sit on a steep grass hill above the venue that was slippery and dangerous. I requested a partial refund for the issue and I have been told there is nothing they can do because at first they said that the area was GA seating. Then when I persisted and showed them the website info and how what they sold did not match what was available and was a fraudulent selling practice they said they weren't the seller so they can not refund. Again that is fraudulent information. They took the payment so they are responsible for the refunds. Do not use this company. The customer service is horrible and they practice fraudulent selling practices.

SeatGeek is the worst
November 5, 2023

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased tickets in October for a Flyers Hockey game in Philadelphia for the 17th their home opener. After driving 2 hours to Philly I learned upon my arrival that the games time got pushed up and hour and not once was I notified of this change. I purchased more than one ticket so it was not cheap. The arena was not letting people in after the first hour of the game I was unaware I was missing. My tickets still stated the starting time was 7pm. I immediately reach out to seatgeek customer service where they said they'd reach back out in 2 days. 2 WEEKS later absolutely nothing from them I reach out again and spoke with someone new now addressing my original issue as well as the company ignoring my emails for 2 weeks. A few days later the team came up with their version of a solution which was to offer a 50% promo code for me to purchase new tickets? As if I'd ever use the company again. My response was that I was dis satisfied with that "solution" as to which they said "no worries you can use it up to 12 months from the issue date 50% promo for you to purchase and you can sell it to regroup your funds" Why would I purchase new tickets to sell and get the money back from those tickets that serves no purpose I still lost the money i spent on my original tickets. Absolutely ridiculous it's no wonder their reviews are soo low. Do yourselves the favor and go through any other seller.

Fraudulent and criminal
November 5, 2023

I purchased a very expensive parking pass from seat geek for game 2 of the World Series. I arrive to find out that the lot is full, not only is the lot full but there are several of us trying to use the very expensive parking passes we purchase from seat geek. I hand to find another lot and pay cash. I'm asked for a refund because they sold me an fraudulent parking pass. The best these criminals will do is give me a credit. I don't want a credit, I never want to do business with these fraudulent scumbags again. I should be given a full refund because they sold me a fraudulent parking pass.
