Cover was 4 feet too long, not waterproof, not 1200 denier (based on the 600 denier cover it was to replace) and no re-enforcement in windshield area. When I asked for a refund, I was assessed a 20% re-stocking fee. Don't be fooled by the web page and the ordering process - it looks like a genuine and professional company but the accuracy of the fitment, quality and water-tightness of material and the fact that a full refund will not happen, make it sketchy at best and a scam at worst.
I am concerned about the cover based upon the reviews about heat and UV damage to other owner's vehicle paint. I have been looking through other reviews, I have not seen Sealskin address this issue by either confirming or denying these claims. Since I live in Florida, I am considering replacing the cover with a more breathable brand.

Our sealskin cover literally SAVED our boat! On Aug. 20,2018, our area was expecting epic flash floods. We had covered our 1990 Larsen with its original canvas cover. After the initial 3-inch rainfall, we drove to the channel where she was docked in Middleton, Wisconsin. We pumped about 4 inches of rain from the hull and the bilge. Then, we secured our new SEALSKIN cover on the boat, and tied her as tightly as we could. The next day, after an additional 10 inches of rain burried the area, we went to check out the boat. She was gone. The channel had turned into a raging river, ripping boat stations and their boats away, sending them into the lake. We figured our boat had sunk. Amazingly, we got a call 2 days later down the lake -- she had drifted purposefully into a neighbor's pier --- following another neighbor's plastic waverunner pier -- where they tied her securely to their dock. She was BONE DRY! Without that cover, she would have cost THOUSANDS of dollars to dredge and pay fines for fuel cleanup to the DNR. Thank you sealskincovers! Best $200 we EVER spent on our boat!
