I contacted them to perform a deep clean before moving in. The house was empty and someone was there for 8 hours. When I went to check I could see the floors were not clean and when I wiped a floor board, it was filthy. The toilets had a stain in the bottom. I let them know and they called to schedule their top cleaner to come the next day to re-clean. 15 minutes before the appointment they called to say cleaner was unable to come. They wanted to reschedule again but I needed to move in and home was filthy. I had to reclean the home myself. I requested a refund but have yet to receive a response. I will never use them again.

They don't always pay their cleaners. My daughter is owed 600.00 from May 2023. Multiple emails and no response. We will be suing them.

We had Scrubbi come out to clean the entire house for our open house to sell it. The house is in very good shape and my parents just moved out so it had only the basics in the house to clean. We asked for cupboards, fridges, fans (low fans), inside windows, floors, dusting… For the amount of money we paid I would expect a few ppl to come out but sadly only one. They didn't need to vacuum because I just had them cleaned so a bonus for them. Well, they did such a bad job that none of the basics were even done floors not swept, windows not clean, nothing dusted, fans dirty the list goes on and on. I tried calling them and after a lot of complaining they agreed to send someone to re-clean after our open house but not before. I wish I didn't bring them back for a re-clean because they broke 2 of our blinds and still the place was not clean. I called them back and told them what happened but once again they were just very defensive and didn't care to help. I emailed headoffice scrubbi and still have not got a reply. Warning they charge you before and they WILL NOT return your money if they do a bad job. I told them that I have lots of pictures I could send them or they could come out and see for themselves but they still didn't care to see or ask me to send the pics.
Now this was done a while ago but know they spam me. I get emails from them 1-2 times a day. I have unsubscribed and emailed them but they still send emails. Dont ever use this company!
This was 5 years ago and I'm still getting spam texts and emails.

This has been the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. I would never work with them again. They have been awful.

My fiancée is currently working for scrubbi but won't anymore. They haven't paid her for her hours since February 17th and they are ignoring her calls and not responding much to her emails. This is ridiculous behaviour from this company. Do NOT use their services. They also never train their employees, they send you across cities without any breaks between appointments and won't pay for your gas nor supplies, time travelling etc.

The worst cleaners I have ever hired. Multiple bad cleans after I bought a package. Today the cleaner was here three hours and only wiped down exterior kitchen cabinets and appliances and didn't even do that well. Did not vacuum, mop or dust anywhere on our small main floor. Did not enter the second floor. Left without speaking to me, instead writing a note on a piece of paper towel! I was upstairs working. Clearly I needed to be watching her instead. My right wrist is broken and my arm is in a cast so this pre-holiday cleaning was important. I am baffled as to what she was doing for all that time.

DO NOT BOOK WITH SCRUBBI. YOU WONT PASS A MOVE OUT INSPECTION.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. It is extremely suspicious to me that all of the 5 star reviews are from accounts that have only have one review linked to their account and it's only for Scrubbi. I wish there was a way to report these guys. Also very suspicious that they have an instagram account with 20k followers but if you check their posts they barely get 5 likes per post… seems odd no?

I booked for a move out cleaning after I removed everything from my apartment and we were very disappointed. I ended up having to pay another cleaning fee from a different company. There was dirt/dust left on floor. A lot of things on their list weren't done. I maintained the cleanliness of my apartment while I stayed there but during my move out process I knew it would get a little more messy with movers coming and going which is why I booked with Scrubbi to make sure I didn't miss anything. There was no huge stains/mess for them to clean so I don't understand how barely anything was completed during the 2 hours the cleaner was there. My expectation was that at the very least the floors would be spotless, they were not.

The cleaner also expressed to my landlord, who had let them into my place, that Scrubbi does not pay them properly and encourages them to stay for as little time as possible. I wish there was a way to report these guys. It's a total scam.

The most unprofessional, unreliable, and untrained cleaning service I have ever had. I have things broken in my home, and house was left dirty and in shambles. Avoid them at any cost

You won't regret getting your own house cleaner. It is such a help. Scrubbi has been great throughout. Great customer service and great cleaners.

My impression about the Scrubbi Managemt is highly negative. You can never be sure that their cleaner will come on the schedule date.
Please be careful before you signup for long term contract.

I booked appointments with scubbi to clean my home. They didn't show up and then still refused to refund me the cost of the service. When I asked how it was possible that I wasn't able to get a refund for service they didn't provide the manager told me that that is the policy. They never refund even when they are at fault. I said i would be writing a review. She told me that that was my choice and made it very clear that they don't care at all about customer satisfaction. She did offer me free cleaning. Is it really free if I didn't get the one i paid for? I paid for a month I'm so glad i didn't let them scam me into the whole year this service is a joke do yourself a favor save your money and go elsewhere

I started fairly quickly with this company, they did all online interviews and orientation. I cleaned for a week and I hated it. I only went with them because they promised 24$/ hrs plus tip. It's subcontracted so I had to buy my own cleaning supplies and write off all things like gas ect. I felt like a cleaning mule, only going to big homes by myself and then having to rush across the city (Calgary being very large) and no break in between. Hours were inconsistent and my final straw was they kept sending me to wrong addresses and I ended up cleaning the wrong house! So I gave them my notice because I felt like I was spending more money then I was making. Well it's been a month now and they haven't paid me at all! They've given me the run around via email, won't return my calls so I've reported them to chamber of commerce. Bad reviews all around for this company! I've gone down a rabbit hole and come to realize they even scam their customers of money!

After a very stressful year. I decided to treat myself to a house cleaner. I am use to having the same person clean. I did decide to give Scrubbi a try and only committed to 6 cleanings. OMG. What a disappointment. Out of the 5 cleanings only 1 cleaning was satisfactory. They do send someone back to do a reclean. So basically I have had 8 different people in my home and stressed each time that they would clean satisfactory. I just discovered that I was missing some jewelry that I had placed in back of a drawer
My 98 year old mothers rings that my father bought her. I was keeping them because she is in a home and didn't wanted them stolen. I am devastated, I also noticed 2 necklaces missing as well as top. I can't sleep at night knowing I allowed these people in my home. I cancelled my last cleaning. Impossible to track who would of taken the rings. Keep the other stuff I just want the rings back. Please be weary about companies like this unless you have servallence camera's. So disappointed on so many levels.

Don't bother buying their service. They do not have good cleaners and if you find one good one every now and then you will never see them again. I bought the 1 year service and stuck as they will not refund. I probably had my house cleaned more than 10 times but only 3 or 4 was actually good.
They will send someone again if you are not happy but who has the time for that. I hired them as I do not have the time to clean but this added more stress for me. The worse part of it is that I give feedback every time but not improving their service at all. Do your self a favour and hire someone else.

Initially they seem so helpful and great, but all they want is your money. I paid for 2 services as a trial before signing up for the annual subscription - the first service was not well done so i was waiting for the 2nd appointment to make a decision. WHILE the cleaning person was at my home they autobilled me for 2 more services that i did not want, request or plan to purchase ($560). I emailed and called immediately to have it cancelled and refunded and long story short - horrible experience. After many emails and calls, they made a 'one time exception' to refund me for a $50 service fee which they are REFUSING to waive. So they forced me into an unwanted contract, then charged me $50 to get out of it and were very rude on the phone and essentially hung up on me. DO NOT recommend doing business with them, they do not clean to the extent on the website, they are very expensive, and clearly dont care about the customer experience and just take your money against your will.

The quality of cleaning is excellent. They are dependable. A morning appointment is very important to me and they always keep that time frame. I also feel very confident that my home is secure during their visits. Merry Maids is not inexpensive but the quality of service and peace of mind is worth the extra expense I may pay.

One thing I really love about Scrubbi is their customer service is top notch! They are extremely responsive to client needs. Not only that but the cleaners are consistently professional, polite and thorough at their jobs. Very happy with the service thus far.

Really disappointed I paid for the year of service. I have had mostly disappointing cleans each month. I was hoping they would refund the rest of my money for the year but they refuse. Now I'm stuck with this service every month and am continually disappointed each time I return home when they've been here. Not sure how they have so many good reviews. Looks like they send their good cleaners to the one off appointments, and send their new ones to people locked into contract.

They have never done a good job cleaning my home, I complained about the cleaning they were very quick at sending over another person to clean, they did a poor job as well, the cleaners do not know who to use a Central Vacuum or a Mop and bucket, my toilets and oven top were not cleaned, the cleaners will not pick anything up at all. If you a single piece of paper on the counter they will wipe around it. I was told "if you want all the counters cleaned and wiped please go around and remove every item that you have out put in a separate area of your home that we are not cleaning, and then put them back after the cleaning is complete". If I am not home they will not tern the alarm system back on, they will leave your home unsecure. This is worst cleaning company I have ever dealt with. You need to buy a 1 year cleaning contract and they will not let you out of it... my mother and I bought a year cleaning package for each of our homes, she has the same complaints and has even told the cleaner to leave as the cleaning job was so poor (my half blind disabled mother could still see the missing areas room to room)... RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

This company takes money up front.
They sent a very inexperienced cleaner and she had small limited supplies.

Had them come for a move it clean.
She showed up for 6 hours.
When we went in absolutely NOTHING WAS DONE!
I think she parked her vehicle and left.

She was to text me when she was done and she didn't!

Left the home unlocked and when we arrived we had absolutely nothing cleaned. NOTHING!

The new people were to move in next day.
All that managers said was we can send someone else out in a couple days. It WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! We no longer had possession.

Was told we would get a CREDIT!

Who would WANT TO HAVE THEM COME AGAIN.

WILL NOT REFUND, also hangs up calls, doesn't return messages, in incredibly unprofessional!

It's absolutely ridiculous that any one uses this company.

Disappointed is an understatement and would absolutely NEVER RECOMMEND
