I worked are with this company made sure houses were clean and made sure people did walk-throughs I drove long distances to clean houses will stay extra time to make sure everything was clean. They sent me the paperwork showing how much I'll be paid then I never got paid and they never bothered contacting me at all. They wasted my time, and I heard bad reviews while I was working, don't recommend this company

We signed a contract for 12 mos and they ghosted us and stopped showing up after 3 mos, owing us $1800.00
Worse company ever, and cleanings were average, falling between mediocre to good.

Disappointed in the slow response to my request for my initial cleaning. Have emailed 3 days ago and phoned and a message left that Scrubbi would call back within 7 minutes. It's now been over an hour.
Just found out they've closed. Will be filing a claim in small claims court

I'm in my second year of biweekly's with Scrubbi, I will not be renewing, and will sue to get the rest of my unfulfilled appointments. The login of their website has been down over a month, their phones and emails go unanswered. Reading other reviews shows they've not been paying their workers so the company is likely bankrupt. I haven't had a cleaner come as scheduled in months. I thought they were good, but they really went downhill.

I had booked a cleaning service almost two weeks ago. No one showed for the appointment and there was no follow up. I called the operations team all day to check in and confirm the appointment and no one picked up. I spoke to the reception team who booked the appointments and they said they would pass the message along to the operations team to no avail. I then called to complain and someone said they'd pass that message along to management. I e-mailed Richard (the gentleman who booked my appointment) that same day complaining and did not hear back from him. I have left at least 5 voicemails and sent 4 emails since then and there has been absolutely no response from them as to what happened with this service and now me asking for a refund. It seems they are avoiding me. I would like someone to contact me ASAP so I can get a refund. This is completely unprofessional. Do not book with them. Terrible customer service.

Had an appointment where no one appeared and no one reached out. I've attempted to contact via phone, email and webchat and all are non-responsive.

They didn't show up to the scheduled cleaning time and we haven't been able to get a hold of the company to get a refund.
I think these guys are a scam

I have worked for this company. The CEO of this company does not pay his cleaners. He uses us and then not reply to calls or emails. Then hires more people and doesn't pay them. I would recommend hiring a company or a private person that cares about you and /or their cleaners. Also this company will sign a contract with their customers and has a no refund policy. So you as the customer you will not get any of your money back. Think about hiring them to clean your home and remember they do not pay and will take your money. You will get nothing in return or poor cleaning jobs.

The teamwork is very good here and the experience for the client remained best as my work/task was just in given time.

They don't pay they their employees, u won't get paid.
They don't give you bonuses that's a lie, they say they do.
They don't answer the phones, CTV News went there the Owner Daniel Eckhart is a liar, he needs to go to jail because he hasn't paid hundreds of employees.
They don't train the employee's properly.
Do not sign a contract with them, u will get a terrible job cleaning.

Appointment Scheduled for 9AM.

Numerous calls and emails from me (the client) to Scrubbi as the cleaner hadn't showed up. At 9:25, Scrubbi calls me and says cleaner will be here in 5 minutes.

35 minutes later (10 AM) I need to leave, so I do, trying again to call them and use their ticketing system numerous times. No response, no one answers the phone.

Another 35 minutes later (Around 10:35AM) the cleaner shows up giving the concierge attitude about how I was "supposed to cancel the appointment online first".

Numerous calls through the rest of the day and the day after continue to go unanswered. And I have now used "1 of 12" of my appointments, see here for a copy from their system:

Once they have your money they don't care about you. To me, Scrubbi is the perfect example of a bad company.

EDIT: Apparently they don't pay their cleaners either!

Do NOT use this service.

I've spent several thousand dollars purchasing Scrubbi cleaning services for my air b and b apartments in Ottawa.

Their service is very poor. Many of the cleaners show up late and do not even know how to put clean sheets into a bed ( I have personally shown 5 of their cleaners how to make a bed!).

Cleaners often arrive late and twice in the past week, in-spite if sending email confirmations about my scheduled cleanings, their cleaners did not show up at all.

When phoned, there is no one picking up calls, when messages are left, no one returns calls, emails are left unanswered.

The terrible service from this company is having a negative effect on my business.

I do NOT recommend this service to anyone. It is a sham.

I like many others have still not been payed and am owed $600+. They no longer respond to my emails and keep saying they are going to pay me but keep moving the date. Do not work for them. Do not support them.

I have personal damage to my oven from the cleaners from this last month. I contacted scrubbi to contact the cleaners to ask what chemical they used on my oven as the finish was completely stripped off. I have an older oven with the element burners ( tin foil inserts). Instead of removing the elements and tin foil inserts the chemical was sprayed onto my oven stripping the finish. I have pets in my home and between my pets and myself I do not want to be inhaling chemical that is on my oven burners. I reached out to scrubbi to complain and they offered to send me a cleaner out as at the same time I mentioned my floors were not done and dusting in some areas over looked. I signed up for a year and each visit I noticed the bathroom floors not done, and multiple areas never dusted or cleaned.

When they offered to send a cleaner out I declined, as I had cancelled my contract and was on my second last clean before our contract was over. I was asked to email photos to them, and have not heard back. I have called to leave voicemails, and emailed them. They are refusing to get back to me. I highly do not recommend you hire them to enter your home. Please see photo. You can see the mess under the burners and how clean my stove got after they sprayed chemical. If you do not know how to use chemicals properly do not use them. This oven looked brand new prior to these cleans. ( yes old school burners and tin foil inserts but it worked so well for my home!)

I worked for Scrubbi for a couple months and they are still 3 pay checks behind. Scrubbi owes me more than $600 from working for them. I contacted Scrubbi and they said I wasn't even allowed to talk to higher management about it. Support a cleaning company that actually pays their employees.

My son has worked for them for 2 months and now won't return his calls or emails and owes him $400

This is a despicable company to work for. They change your schedule several times a day cancelling jobs and re booking. The app lags so it's difficult to keep track.

On several pay days I would receive an email stating my payment is in queue and will be processed in a few days. LIES! I am still waiting for a pay that is almost 2 weeks late after they stated it would be in my account 8 days later.

This company causes more stress on myself and family and don't even consider how their front line workers will pay their bills.

I have contacted labour board as I stopped working due to not being paid. Currently owed 4 weeks of pay and the company has not got back to me of when to expect payment ‍

They are very unprofessional, they hire people with lies, make them work for free and never get pay, the use they employees.
Do not use this company for your cleaning

I've booked with Scrubbi three times - someone sold me a package. It was a huge mistake. Three cleanings in, the work is surface and inconsistent - I can't imagine any of their staff have had any consistent training. The worst part is that I book appointments and plan my day around them, and people don't show up anywhere near the scheduled time (every time) -- there is no indication that anyone is coming at all, and it is impossible to get in touch to even find out a general ETA. I can't believe this is a business, it is so poorly run and, as a customer, has caused much more stress than anything else.
