Love the Scents

I love the scents that Scentbird sends to me each month. I like having a variety to choose from, and I haven't had one that I dislike. My only complaint is the case that you receive with the first order. It's cheaply made and honestly pretty embarrassing that the company is okay with sending them out. I went on Amazon and bought some different cases that work just fine. Overall, I'm happy with my monthly subscription.

I signed on to scentbird foolishly one day thinking I would save money on perfume. So far they have sent me nothing but horrible perfumes that stink like a 90 year old grandma who never bathes. I have tried to cancel three times and they keep sending more. Today after three attempts to cancel I received another perfume. It smells like they filled the bottle with water—absolutely no fragrance at all. This is by far better than their prior mailings, however I can spray water on myself for free. Do not subscribe or you will never be able to stop the charges.

People don't read the entire email and I'm sure scentbird is aware of this which is why when you go to cancel your subscription and follow the directions on their website you get a redundant email saying they understand and are sorry to see you go yada yada yada and then, at the bottom of the email, tell you to click a link to cancel from your account on the website (which you already did when following their directions) or reply to the email saying CANCEL. It's an incredibly dishonest practice and I urge people to choose from other sites. I personally have never had an issue with microperfumes or scentsplit (neither of which are subscriptions).

Very spectacle

I honestly was really into this website but after looking over the reviews it made me iffy about subscribing or even putting my card on file due too lack of representative/support help anything could happen and there's nobody too reach out too no phone number only a email that nobody hardly answers too, I am a big supporter to all businesses but this made me have too by pass this site maybe make a better way to reach out too the public

Would not cancel my order

I been going back and forth with scent for bird for 2 weeks they been telling me they canceled my order but would charge me. I jad to close my card down. A card i had for many years. Now because of scent taking my money o had to shut it down. They do not let you cancel your subscription yourself you have to contact them
They tell you that they cancell it bit lie

My son has had a subscription with scentbord for over a year now but for the past 6 months they have been sending him women's perfume instead of men's cologne like he was signed up for. He has gone on their site and made sure it was set to men's several times. He went in and canceled his subscription after 4 months of not getting what he was paying for. Then he got another perfume the next month and he went and looked and they had charged him again even though he had canceled his subscription. He had to cancel his subscription twice and hopefully this time it will actually cancel.

I ordered this at the advertised price but only found out from my bank they charded me in USD. Also the shipping time is estimated at 21 days and I live in a major city. In this day and age that is a ridiculously long time for delivery especially after paying like $8 for delivery and it being a tiny object.

This is a con and a rip off. Once you subscribe you Cannot unsubscribe. They ignore your request and charge you. They will even upgrade your charge you more. They do not respond to emails, and there is no way to contact them other than email.

The products I received smell the same, and like the old Avon products from back in the day.

Check the Better Business Bureau before you throw away your money!

I was just about to purchase from this site because I received an email for 30 dollar coupon for like 5 fragrances and I thought that was a pretty good deal. However, after looking at these reviews, I'm very hesitant and almost terrified to put my card information in. I think I'll pass on the offer. Sorry guys! I've been in that same position where my money was took from my account and I couldn't get it back.

I'm giving a 2 start review because my 3rd item was returned as undeliverable. I contacted the company and got what I know see are AI responses. They have me a $35 credit only to find out that my order was$38. Then I wrote back again and got a very simular AI message about my May order. They said that it hadn't been shipped due to the fact that I bought one sample that would cost 10 dollars more. I wrote them and asked why they didn't just charge me like it says on the site as I've been watching the order sit in the "preparing for delivery" for 3 weeks. Then they finally changed my card and my May delivery is going to be shipped June 1st but I had paid for it at the beginning of May. Today I placed another order yet although they sent me an email I've still yet to see anything about the order. They seem very unorganized and if this order is not ready to be in process by tomorrow I'm going to cancel my subscription.

Hi Forrest! We appreciate your message. It seems that our agents Umar and Mahadi have successfully resolved your concerns on May 26th and May 29th respectively. You made a non-subscription-based order during our Flash Sale on April 30th, but unfortunately, the package was returned to us due to an incomplete address on file. The address corrections were made by you after the order had already been processed and prepared for shipping. As Flash Sale products are in high demand and sell out quickly, we were unable to offer replacements for the purchased items. To compensate for the inconvenience, Agent Umar added a $35 credit to your account, which is equivalent to the base price of a Flash Sale package. Regarding your subscription-based order for May, please note that any upcharge costs for Premium scents chosen are charged separately once the order begins processing for the month. Your regular billing and processing date is the 22nd of each month. Therefore, your monthly subscription-based orders are typically delivered in the following month. However, if you prefer to receive your monthly packages in the same month you paid for them, we can offer you the option to change your billing date to an earlier one. You upgraded your plan to the 2 products per month option on May 18th, so that's the date you were charged for your May order. However, the order didn't begin processing until the 22nd of the month. Additionally, we want to confirm that you placed another one-time order outside of your regular monthly subscription on May 30th. The shipment containing your six fragrances is already on its way to you and is expected to be delivered on June 7th. Horrible company. I left an honest review on trust pilot about their delayed shipping using DHL and trust pilot gets requesting more documentation. F them and this lame company. 1.) they use DHL which is the worst shipping company in the world. They create labels with tracking numbers and nothing shows in the system for a week. At that point a week later your shipment may or may not arrive. 1.) only the saks select fragrances come with a case. The way their bottles are designed with a round bottom makes they extremely inconvenient to store without a case. 2.) their atomizers are HORRIBLE. To even call them an atomizer is a stretch. They're more like a dribbler. 3.) I've had full bottles, and decants from numerous other sites and I'm convinced these guys dilute their decants making them less potent than the actual fragrance. I cannot prove this but I got 6 decants from them and either I chose the 6 weakest fragrances known to man or they dilute them. 4.) This company actively tries to delete legitimate reviews. This makes them pretty scummy IMO. There are much better companies out there.

Hi Scott, sorry to see that you are experiencing frustration with your Scentbird experience. Please be assured that we consistently ship and deliver the fragrances that customers have paid for. Tracking numbers are generated when orders are processed, but it may take some time for them to be updated on the courier's side. However, once the packages are en route to the destination, the tracking information will be displayed. If there is no movement for several consecutive days, we always encourage our customers to contact our support team for assistance. In the event that a package is lost in transit, we make sure to send free replacements.
Please note that all our subscribers receive one free fragrance case in their initial shipment, and subsequent fragrances come in protective cardboard cases. These cases are intended for subscribers to reuse when switching to a new fragrance. If you would like additional cases in different colors, you can order them separately through our website.
It's unfortunate to hear that you didn't like our rebranded atomizers. The purpose of upgrading our physical packaging was to provide a better experience. As a short-term solution for keeping the fragrances without cases, you can store the vials upside down. However, we collect all feedback regarding our new vials and cases and forward it to our management for further review and improvements.
Please be aware that we never compromise on the integrity and quality of our fragrances. In fact, our scents are exactly the same as those in full-size bottles, just in smaller quantities. Scentbird simply gives them a stylish makeover with our signature packaging to offer our monthly service. The repackaging should not affect the fragrance itself or its staying power.
We also do not delete any comments, whether positive or negative. You can verify this by viewing various feedback and comments in the comment sections of our social media posts. Won't Cancel My Account

I have been trying to cancel for a year now. I even changed my debit card but they must be billing my account directly. I have emailed them repeatedly and they keep saying I need to cancel in the app when there is no option in the app or website to cancel. Contacting my attorney next.

For such a popular company

For such a popular company. Why is there no way to reach representative. I've seen smaller companies with a remedy for this.

I was charged 3 times for one scent and bot emailing me back about cancellation of my subscription. Not what I needed assistance with.

Why is this so difficult to solve. I was charge $9/$10/$21 why?

How is there no one to fix this issue.
I can't imagine the retention of this company.

Please issue a refund of the unauthorized chargers so I can be on my way

Hi M, I see that our Customer Support agents provided assistance on the same day you reached out to us, specifically on May 20th. Your subscription was initially for our 1 product/Monthly plan, which you availed of at a 50% discount. As a result, you were charged $9.22 (sales tax included). Subsequently, you upgraded your plan to our 3 products/Monthly option, which costs $37. Consequently, an additional charge of $21.83 was applied to cover the cost of the new plan. One of the fragrances you selected was a Premium scent, which incurs an extra charge of $10. Hence, you were charged an additional $10.89 including sales tax.
To ensure transparency with our customers, we display a notification prior to adding Premium fragrances to your queue. You must confirm your acceptance of the extra cost to proceed. Once you confirm your willingness to pay for such fragrances, our system automatically processes the charges. Please be assured that we only process the fragrances that are in your queue.
After our agents clarified the charges, you expressed disinterest in upgrading your account. Consequently, we downgraded your plan and refunded the second charge back to your card.
At present, we do not have a dedicated telephone number for customer support, as we are still a small but rapidly expanding team. Email support is our primary mode of communication to ensure that we address each inquiry with care. If you require any assistance, please feel free to email us at [email protected].

Scam charges

I decided to try Scentbird and subscribed, you can't see what fragrances they offer until you subscribe, after getting to look, they didn't have any fragrances I wanted to try so I immediately contacted them to cancel. They agreed to cancel and then just sent some random test tube of cheap cologne I didn't pick instead of refunding the $9.15 first charge like they should have.
