I love this company! I can't believe there is as many bad reviews as I've read! The scent is spot on. And for 14.95 a month you can't beat it to try or basically sample the scent. After a break, I signed up to order a scent for a Christmas gift. The website said it would ship in 2/3 business days. I ordered on Dec. 11th... It is now Dec 21 and I just received notice it shipped today and will not arrive until after Christmas. Although I've contacted multiple times, they don't offer any solution... even tried to tell me it was already in USPS facility in my state. (WRONG - that is my monthly subscription scent) the a la carte order had not even been filled. :(

My order arrived broken. I emailed them for a replacement but I never recieved a reply. I never got refunded or a replacement.

I just found out, they milked me out with a double charge on my Paypal account and on my bank account, which is linked to their account. I was under the impression they were charging me only through my bank account, and little did I know that was being charged through PayPal, which makes no sense. I'm going to process legally if they don't pay every cent they stole from both accounts. Some of their scents are original (that's what I think) but they sent you repeated cheaps scents, usually the ones, I believed, are declined by retailers. IT'S IS A SCAM to the T. Plus, they rob you silly. I wish that I could have rated the company with minus rather than plus stars. Scentbird doesn't deserve anything!

Ridiculous. Scam. Received my first order approx. 11/2. I'm not sure if it's the original fragrance stated on the makeshift lable. Unhappy with my purchases, I went to the site to
"unsubscribe" only to find out that December's monthly fee had already been deducted from my bank account! I'm pissed, charge my account a couple of days prior to shipping, NOT 30 days in advance. That speaks volumes as to the credibility of Scentbird. Save yourself... don't join.

As for our billing schedule, you’ll be billed for your first Scentbird with your initial purchase. Starting with your second month, you’ll fall on our regular billing and shipping cycle, meaning that you’ll be billed on the 5th of each month and can expect your package to ship around the 3rd week of the month. It's pretty much a scam. In the terms, your subscription renews every time it expires even if you initially set it to expire at 3 months. I'm trying to cancel it right now but I can't find it on there website (even in the location they say it's supposed to be in).

Bottle are always broken and wont spray, wont refund and wont cancel my subscription. Terrible customer service

I am a new subscriber to Scentbird. I don't know which fragrance smells good on me and I don't want to buy expensive bottles trying to find one that does. I was apprehensive after googling reviews of this subscription service but decided to try it out for myself. I placed my order choosing 2 bottles (one for me and one for my husband), received an email saying to choose and confirm my choices within 24 hours or they choose for me (seems reasonable). I received an email saying that my order was expected to arrive on a date and it did not arrive that date. Looking at the shipping tracking it had an odd route/reroute and did arrive 3 days later than the first estimated arrival date (not perfect, not bad).
These reviews spoke about broken bottles, 1/2 empty bottles, etc. The bottles I received were full, came in cardboard containers which were enclosed in a bubble wrap package (seems well packaged to me). It arrived with the free dispenser (1) in a velvet bag and product information cards. Please see photos. Other than the few days delay, everything seemed good. I liked the scent I chose, hope my husband likes his and am looking forward to next month's choices which I've already selected and saved.

I never signed up to a subscription yet I discovered theyve enrolled me in a monthly auto pay for $16

The first few orders were ok though I swear the colognes are watered down. My last 2 shipments are what made me angry as 2 orders ago one if my bottles was half empty and I ate the cost bc it was cheap. My last order I ordered 4 colognes and when they arrived all four bottles were empty and the tops were unscrewed off. The packaging was soaked and the mixed smells were awful together. I paid for basically 4 empty bottles of cologne. I tried finding a customer service number and they don't have one. Then I emailed and no response after waiting the 24 hours the site says to wait. So then I emailed again. 4 days later I recieved an email back stating I have to take pictures of the empty bottles and they will send me a new order when the investigation ends. Ummm scam scam scam! Do not waste your money on this site.

Keep away. They offer no refunds even if they charge you and fail to ship out your items. They are extremely inconsistent with delivery times. One month you could receive your product on time and the next month not receive your product at all. You won't get any help from their automated response email from customer service. Honestly I'm surprised that this company doesn't have more lawsuits against them than they already do. Charging someone's account and then never sending the product is theft! Stay away

My second perfume came last month. When I opened it. It was half full. It's already a small container. I have sprayed it maybe twice since then and it is almost gone. Maybe you should fix your containers and I won't cancel.

Do not use this company they will not only not give you your product that you ordered they will not deliver it they will make up many excuses you will never hear back and if you do it's a customer service representative who repeats the same thing over and over you cannot get a refund so therefore you are out of services out of time and you have nothing to show for it do not use this company.

Worst company ever. My subscription was in processing for about a month. So I cancel. Perfume.com is much better. Look it up. I got my friend to sigh up and the same happen to him. Highly don't recommend. Don't waste your money and time.

I have been a scentbird member for about two years and honestly the idea and price isnt bad. What is so frustrating is there isnt a contact number so the last perfume that came my way one of the bottles was defective. Trying to get a hold of someone to let them know and get it replaced in a timely manner isnt easy and I still dont have the issues resolved. I will be canceling my membership!

I tried scentbird to support one of my favorite podcasts and it was a complete waste of time and money. After waiting over two weeks for my first months supply (which is about the size you would get for free from any department store) I opened my package to find over half of the tiny bottle broken and spilled within the envelope. And the fancy sprayer, that seems to be their main marketing point, was already flaking and falling apart. I paid the trail price of $9 but I can not believe that people actually pay $15 dollars a month for this subscription. They already have a very limited selection and from what I've gotten, you're only going to get half of what you pay for.

BEWARE! I was on the 3 item plan for July. Since after July I decided to change to 2. I was already charged the $35 + each of my 3 items had a $5 upcharge fee. So I had paid $50. There is a glitch on their site where I couldn't manually downgrade, plus I had a $10 credit that was not applied to my July purchase. So of course because they don't have a customer service number I emailed them. They downgraded not just August, but July. They then charged me an additional $10 on my credit car. The customer service agent Daria assured me I'd still get the 3 item I had purchased. Said to for the inconvenience she'd add $10 to my credit. She then told me it was a glitch they'd fix for July to reflect the 3 items I had previously in my que. I check 2 days ago and they had change 2 of my items to nasty perfumes that didn't have an upcharge and I had NEVER had in my que ever! Not only that. But they charge me an additional $10 the same day, make the total charges $70. I then received an email saying they were refunding only 10.16 because I was charged for shipping & that from now on mine would be free shipping... on the website it states there's never shipping on the sub. Then they said I'd pay half next month instead of my $10 credit. They wiped out my entire $20 credit for me to only save 12.25 Even the senior customer service agent Bobby refused to make it right. I've literally been dealing with this nightmare for almost 2 weeks with no resolution. My emails have since been ignored. I told them to cancel July and give me a full refund since I didn't even choose 2 of the items. Which they refused to do because it's being "prepped", they could either call their shipping department and cancel it or cancel the label. It's not that difficult. I'll be contacting my credit card company tomorrow. This company has the worst customer service I have ever come across.

Answer: I am frequently asked what perfume I am wearing. It's nice to change things up. My husband has liked all but one of the scents I've received. I LOVE getting a different scents every month. Perfumes smell very different on different people so it's interesting to smell the difference between a perfume on myself versus that same perfume on my daughter but I absolutely love this entire concept and the business is top-notch as it pertains to the customer service and the expedited shipping to ensure that the product arrives when it is supposed to.
