I can do chinese voice search in s5 but in s8, and that is a down grade in my opinion. I preferred to have the Mic on the keyboard for all function that way I can select the language rather than the Mic on the Google search bar. And that it only function in English which is very suck.
Returned a product purchased from Samsung Direct. Three ticket/case numbers, 4 calls and nearly 3 months after Samsung received the product - STILL NO REFUND - "it is still in process". Last call: no prediction as to when refund will process.
HORRIBLE - fortunately it was a $100 product. Have purchased many items before and did not need to return. Will NEVER buy an expensive item due to this HORRIFIC experience. Almost ready to request a refund from credit card issuer.
CASES: 512-457 and 512-460 is been more than 45 policy days to investigate and they said a return was on the way and never received anything... AGAIN LIES OVER LIES! Besides is hard to understand their english and NEVER WANTED TO DO BUSINESS WITH ASIA thinking I was contacting SAMSUNG > COM inside USA! PLEAAASSEEEEEE HELPPPPP im tired of your robot operators that cant do much because all they do is read! I NEED MY MONEY BACK no one is answering anything! EITHER FEDEX DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING!
I originally bought a SAMSUNG - UE50KU6020 Smart 4k Ultra HD HDR 50" LED TV from Currys on 21/11/2016 which suffered from multiple issues; the wi-fi disconnected frequently, the screen colours were extremely poor, and there was a black strip intermittently flashing on the screen. This was eventually replaced by Curry's but only after much resilience. The replacement however also had wi-fi issues and a black intermittent strip down the screen. Curry's declared this was now the manufacturers (Samsung's) responsibility and said they could not help me further. After dealing with Samsung over the following year; running through endless over the phone tests, calls, delayed emails, a failed screen replacement and a number of missed engineer appointments I am left no better off than where I started. I have experienced complete incompetency at all levels from both companies in the handling of my case and vow to never use either again.
I purchased an tablet for my 5 year old online in November. I received notification that my order was confirmed and and that I should wait for confirmation of shipping. A week later and i had not received anything no phone call, no email, nothing so I emailed them their "Customer Service". The first representative told me that they apologized for the wait but that I should be receiving notification within the next few days. A week later I emailed again this time wanting more information again
I was told that on their end everything looked good and I should a notification of shipment soon. I asked them numerous times will I receive this item before Christmas and all they would say is Yes, Yes, Yes. Well on December 15 I received an email stating due to an error in price on their end my ordered has been canceled and they gave me a $10.00 E certificate for a future purchase. As if this wasn't bad enough my son will not receive his tablet and I will not be refunded before Christmas. This company is a JOKE. I would have had a much better and more professional experience with Target.com.
Would give negative stars if I could and am thinking of hiring attorneys against them. Purchased a phone and a few accessories and after a week decided to return all since I wasn't too satisfied with the phone, initiated return on website and used the provided shipping labels and on the website it only says one item has been returned so I emailed them twice and one representative says all the items are confirmed returned and another says only one is. I purchased through Samsung finance and the balance is still on there after 4 months and I have been charged substantial fees for refusing to pay for something i rightfully returned with the promise of a refund, also getting sent letters from collection agencies of possible litigations, and my credit history is being reflected very negatively because of them! I have been constantly emailing them with no help whatsoever and rudeness. This is by far the worst customer service in existence! Do not order any products off samsung website or any of their products in general since a company with such disregard for customer service is not worthy of any profit!
It started with the Samsung refrigerator we purchased. After 13 months (1 month outside the warranty period) the interior light failed - not just the globe - the power to the globe. Gave up and installed two $15 movement activated battery lights from Bunnings. Then there was the LCD TV. Looked great in Harvey Normal's store, but DEAD ON ARRIVAL at our home. Fortunately Harvey allowed us to change it for a Sony LCD - beautiful picture and zero problems with Sony. Then the biggest purchasing error of my life. A Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on contract after 5 iPhones. Just because you could write on the screen with a special mini pen. Whaddamistakatomaika! Fingerprint recognition worked intermittently at best. Would not work with slightest piece of grime on finger. Screen needed 3 pokes to respond, and half a stroke to go some place you didn't need. And as for Android - no wonder Google is the one of the richest companies in the world. Forced to read/dismiss 3 advertisements for stuff I had no interest in every time I turned the bastard on. What a wretched OS. Never gain. Stay well away from Samsung and Android if you want my advice.
Samsung products are always good but their customer service is not even satisfying.
Latest is i bought a Galaxy Note 8 on 24th of this month via Samsung online shop & delivery suppose to be next day.
I emailed them but didn't get response.
Today is 29th, i went on live chat waited a long time when i was 1st in a queue page appears saying sorry all operators are busy, then i called waited 37 minutes & no response so while waiting i tried live chat again & by chance i get chance to chat.
The lady on the chat confirms me that tomorrow on 30th of November i am definitely getting my delivery.
After an hour i received a email from Samsung saying i can not receive my order before 5th of December as they are busy.
If they are busy it's not my problem as they advertised on the web next day delivery but taking 11 days.
Called to try to update my Samsung + app the lady was rude under helpful and couldn't understand her half the time it's a shame I really like your products but customer service and support blows $#*! need to fix I see I'm not the only person complaining about this you should try to fix right away thanks have a happy holidays to you mine won't be good because my Samsung $#*! all messed up
If you still want to use samsung products such as that if you like their latest phone or tv, etc. I recommend to get them thru a third party, such as for a phone thru AT&T for example, or a TV thru a store. This way for any return, warranty or similar, you get to deal with this intermediary. Whatever intermediary or third party that sold you a samsung product, I GUARANTEE YOU, YOU WILL GET MUCH MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! I think that says it all. I hope nobody else goes thru what I and many others as they have written here, go thru. Their unprofessional customer service, their lies, attitudes, and more lies, just do not go well nowadays. It is hard to believe that such a big company as Samsung is able to hire the best and brightest (let's say) of engineers, designers, etc. to come out with great products, however, on the sales, customer service, support side, etc. THEY LACK EVERYTHING WE EXPECT FROM A QUALITY PRODUCT AND COMPANY! Anyone that does not believe any of these posts here then there is nothing else we can say to make you aware of what is happening so, I invite you to come and experience these type of issues with us, the victims of Samsung's unethical customer service. I am not boring you with details about what happened to me other than buying a phone which they ship super fast, then dealing with a return which takes weeks to get answers from. To then having multiple people lie to you about how you can do to purchase the 'replacement' and then ask for your credits/discounts to transfer over. Which nothing did, etc. All in between includes bad customer service, lies, quality and professionalism of service feeling like a 1/10 scale, etc.
I like my phone so I am keeping it either way, however I should have gotten it thru my phone company. I ended up paying same price or worst with Samsung. They took away with my replacement the free camera, and worst my 200 credit for sending an old phone was not transferred to my replacement order, even after they told me it would. Attitudes, lies, and worst experiences ever. Nowhere else have I had this experience before. I am 41 years old so I have had multiple orders online through my life, better than here.
I just called to find out the TV frame that I purchased from their website does not seem like fits the new QLED TV that I also purchased from their website too. I was in the phone for more than an hour and being transferred to 4 different representatives in different departments without any solution. It looks like everyone is waiting to transfer to the next person as none of them knows what they are doing. At last I was told that I need to call the first person where I started (e/commerce) as I have to return the frame as it will not fit. Horrible experience. Will never buy anything from this website and advise everyone to do so. They deserve ZERO star.
DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG.COM
Purchased a new QLED TV and two days later the price dropped $300.00. Called customer service and they said they have price match. Submitted my price match request exactly how the customer service representative said to and was denied. Denial email said they dont do price matching from their own website. Lies and completely false statements given by their customer service representatives. NEVER BUY FROM SAMSUNG.COM
Samsung has products in almost every market these days. I own several from this phone that I'm writing this on, tv's, blu ray player and even a washer dryer set. The reason that I'm primarily writing this though is because of the camera's I bought from them. You see I was very excited to be getting into photography. I did my research and found that samsung had brought an incredible camera to the market. It was reasonably priced at $1500 for the level that it was competing at. I even bought a nice lens to round off the purchase. This was to be the camera that I started my photography buisness with. This was October 2015. Just two weeks after purchasing this camera a rumor started circulating on forums that samsung was withdrawing from the mirrorless camera market. Needless to say that was a little troubling considering what I had just spent. But I thought, no way that would be foolish for them to withdrawal. Long story short they did withdraw. I get that to an extent. If a particular product isn't doing well then you have to adjust. I don't fault them for that, rather my issue with them is not once did samsung issue a statement clarifying what their intentions were. Matter a fact they denied it. Yet here I sit with a prouduct that is discontinued, unsupported and worthless to sale online. This is how samsung treats it's customers. For that reason I will no longer purchase samsung products. I'm just one person, but I hope this review saves someone else from a similar fate with another of their products.
Its very bad experience with Samsung mobile. I used my Samsung S6 Edge+ with AT&T network without any single problem. But the moment I unlocked my phone by paying off the contract billed amount and tried to take another network it started giving me trouble for few days and one day all of a sudden its completely dead and was no response on the screen. That's weird. I am going to write this in my facebook, whatsapp to all my friends and groups and other social media to make sure no one from my friends and other groups not to buy Samsung phones in contract any more. This is a big cheat kind of thing. Its all of a sudden dead as soon as I removed the network. I am very much disappointed with Samsung regarding my cell phone. I got lot of data saved in the phone with so much information and contacts which are not going to be retrieved anymore now. The price for the repair you suggested is more than 50% of original mobile. I am not at all happy with it. I am going to post it in all social media and spread the truth. I am sorry but I don't want any of my friends suffer like this.
I bought a smart tv less than a year ago. The remote control on button began working intermittently. Sometimes having to press no exaggeration 20 times to get the tv to turn on. Called Samsung. They took information, saw the product was registered and told me to expect the remote in 507 business days. After 10 days, he tv on the entire time in case the on button stopped working entirely, I call and was told they needed additional information. I had to call the seller to get it. Sent it to Samsung and got a call-they have all the need, expect the replacement remote 5-7 business days. You guessed, no remote. About 10 days later I get a call from Canada with the message they can not fulfill my request until... I CALLED THE SELLER (abt.com in business since 1936/they gave me a great price on the tv and as you can see their customer service is top notch) WHO immediately agreed to send the remote AND DID. SAMSUNG couldn't replace the remote in 8 weeks----recall tv has to be on continuously shortening its lifespan and using electricity --- All for a $5 cost to them for the remote and postage they wasted several hours of my time and their employees time and lost a customer for life. It is the reason the microwave I purchased recently was not a Samsung. Samsung = pitiful the corp
Should be ashamed of itself, bad business decision and judging from the other reviews the company's modus operandi!
I recently brought a 55 Samsung smart tv. I didnt have the product not even for a year and the screen gave out. When I contacted Samsung about the screen they told me they arent able to do anything due to physical damage. Mind you this tv NEVER fell or had any type of impact. I had one of the older versions of a Samsung flat screen and went through so many impacts but never got damaged. I had this tv for over ten years and it is still in working condition. Samsung had made their products more weak and sensitive so that we have to pay out of pocket. SAMSUNG SUCKS! I always thought this was a great name brand but the way they are manufacturing their newer products is unbelievably sensitive and weak.
I order S pen October 1st and today is 31. Call 7 time to the customer service Look like monkey business customer service to warehouse nobody answer correctly today the told me the item is auto off Stock end up canceling the order I will never buy anything direct from Samsung anymore
Over all a great experience with Samsung mobile, i used some other electronic item from Samsung they aslo goods.
Samsung is Garbage and their customer service is a joke - I bought a washer and dryer and have had to have them repaired a number of times in less than 2 year, the most recent issue being a huge safety concern. The Dryer will not turn off unless you open the door or flip the breaker off. We put the dryer on and went out only to find it still running 6 hours later, The unit runs it's cycle and the Keypad goes off but the dryer keeps running. I called Samsung and they basically blew me off. Now I have decide it it's worth throwing good money after bad or push the piece of crap to the curb and by a new one ---- last piece of advice run don't walk away from any samsung product
Answer: Yes it works you need an alexa device to hook it to your alexa tv they have to pair each other, download the alexa app...
Answer: I chose Samsung directly so that my phone was unlocked from cellphone carriers. Also, TD bank offers generous credit limits, and Samsung offers several payment options. Samsung offers service trial subscriptions with its phones... Spotify, Sirius XM, Light room, Cloud Storage, YouTube TV, etc.
Answer: Good luck on your problem. I haven't had any luck with my 8 month problem with them
Answer: They are out of the country and could not care less about customer service
Answer: Yes! You never get what you ordered from them!
