I purchased a pool cell from them that had a 5 year warranty. It went bad shortly after 1 year. They will not refund. I saved online chat where they said they'd honor if it broke. So they made me hire the pool company to provide accurate water reading and would not accept my test before I could submit claim. I submitted pictures and that document. Then then said I would need to ship it to them at my expense and buy a connector pipe to fill the gap while they verified it was not working. It had been working for over a year and stop giving me a reading of HOT and that my pool was 155 degrees. They would not just honor their warranty. Not to mention respond to repeated attempts by email. Stay away from this company.

I ordered a salt cell and received exactly what was ordered. Saved a lot of money. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but for me was a great transaction.

Placed order and paid in full, never received order or shipping confirmation. Called 5 times, was told to leave message and someone would call me back, Hahahahahahaha, nothing.
I was told to better serve me I should send an email to *******@saltpoolstore.com, sent 3 emails and nothing. This company may be a scam, worst customer service I have ever seen. I can just imagine how there warranty support is.

Somebody has mentioned maybe competitors have this place a bad review. Believe me these are real reviews. Stay away stay away. The t15 I ordered was defective straight out of the box. After going back and forth in 3 emails they tell me to send it back to the to investigate. Asked them for a shipping label since it was defective right out of the box and no more correspondence what so ever. When you call you just get some cheap answering service and they will not call you back. Tried multiple ways via tech support, warranty claim, sales etc. Do your research. I kick myself in the head for not investigating more before buying from them. Already filed a BBB complaint and next is federal trade commission. If you got duped by them please do the same and maybe something will happen and they get shut down. I wish I could out a zero star rating or even negative stars

Bought a salt chlorination cell, said 3-5 days shipping. I have received nothing, tracking shipment started in Australia then disappeared. Company will not return emails or calls. Filing fraud claim with my bank now.

Bought a T-15 cell with the 5 year warranty, Temperature sensor failed. Refused to honor the warranty. Zero customer service. Total scam. BEWARE

Purchased with credit card got no receipt from the company, when it arrived. Was unable to read return address poorly packaged.
Tried to stop payment on card when reading review. Called company several times emailed with no response.

They took me for $299 and will not refund my money. They are a SCAM! I bought a salt cell they said would work but it had the wrong connection. I sent it back and they where supposed to send me the right part. They did not. I asked for a refund they said no problem... It's been crickets ever since... They wont even let me talk to a manager rhey said they are busy and will call back... Guess what. Crickets again I will be reporting to other agencies. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY>> YOU HAVE BEEN WORNED!

Warranty on Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell 5 years. I had not used this till this weekend due to the amount of time to get it and it was a replacement. Well, it leaks right out of the seam, which is where I believe the last one leaked from. I have also heard from other people about these issues with this product. Why are you still selling defective products? I still have the original box and packing it was sent to me in, with no damage on my part. I now want it replaced, but prefer a refund due to this being the second time. I see you are no longer on FB?

I gave one star because there are no minuses! They are fake, instructed me to send them my salt cell which was under warranty for inspection and replacement and have not given me a straight answer since! They kept my salt cell, and will not send my replacement. Today I got an email stating they cannot help me any further. I feel cheated, and I do not want this to happen to anyone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT EXIST. They have a lady answering the phone and they pay her to do just that, any message will fall into a bottomless pit, no one will get it. There are no managers or responsible party. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM COMPANY.

The guarantee is far from what they say. It's prorated for 3 years then you are buying a new salt system from there on. There is no 5 year guarantee. Read their info carefully. They took 3 months to get mine back to me. You can't get anyone there todo anything. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IN MY 70 YEARS ON THIS EARTH IVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A TERRIBLE DISRESPECTFUL USELESS COMPANY.

Stay away- I bought a chlorine generator that had a 5 yr warranty that went out in 11 months. They requested that I send it back to them for testing. I had a test that showed it failed. I cannot disconnect the generator and leave my pool not circulating while they decide that it's faulty. Called and emailed several times, but never got a response after they requested me to send it back.
If you are looking to buy any type of salt/chlorine generator or anything from this company, It would be a good idea to look elsewhere. First of all, the product is crap based on all the other reviews and their customer service is non existent.
Go find other options, I finally did and so far am happy with the customer service and the product I bought. I'm just out $260.00 from this company.

Their Hayward T15 cell replacement is junk. My cell reads high salt -4500 and shuts down. Took water to Pinch a Penny and my water level is at 3200. Try calling tech support and nobody answers. After several days I get an email from Amanda Bates with two attachments on how to trouble shoot the cell. What a F joke!

After reading numerous negative reviews of this company I must admit that I was quite apprehensive about doing business with the company. Regardless, I did place an order on 4/2/2021. The company was responsive to my questions and provided factual and accurate answers to my questions. Although warning me that shipment could be delayed for 3 to 5 days I received the replacement salt cell today on 4/7/2021. I immediately installed it with no problems and it is now producing salt at the correct level with no problems. Everything went perfectly and actually beyond my earlier expectations. It makes me question who is leaving the negative reviews, could it be competitors trying to discredit this seller? In any case, I cannot leave high enough praise for my transaction or this company. Hope you have a similar experience. After one year not working, no warranty support.

I bought a knock off Hayward T-15 from The SaltPoolStore.com. It never worked. I asked for support through email, attempted to call their tech support several times. Finally got a response from Amanda Bates. Very rude, no technical skills, and no knowledge of pool equipment. I offered several pool analysis to to compare the readings of the cell to including a comparison to a Hayward cell from a local pool store. She would not accept an exchange or return. Do not waste your money. Buy somewhere else!

I purchased a replacement salt cell, never received it and I had no reply's from emails or voicemails. I guess I'm out of the money. Don't do business with this company!

I orderd a Hayward compatible T15 salt cell and it arrived with MISSING prongs on the plug. A certified Pool company confirmed the salt meter was reading >800 parts different than what the lab tested the water to be. Also, the incompatible plugs will completely damage the electrical box over time. I have left 15 messages and 10 emails over the past 3 months and the only response I received was from Amanda Bates asking what the problem was. I explained it, sent certified lab results, sent pictures, and have been emailing and calling you ever since. PLEASE MAKE GOOD ON YOUR WARRANTY. All I am asking for is a NAME BRAND Hayward salt cell that is fully compatible with the Hayward system. I am paying the difference, but please be a responsible business and exchange the mis-advertised, non-working, poor-quality, potentially damaging knock off that is not compatible with Hayward. I've given you my information and am awaiting a response.

I purchased a T-5 cell for a Hayward SWCG and they sent me a T-9 cell which will not work with my system. After numerous messages and emails to them they responded with: "the cell will work with my system". Next paragraph of the email said: "the cell is compatible with software version 4.2". I have 4.1 and to upgrade, I need to replace the board! That is $400 plus. Nowhere does it say anything about this on the website.
They ignore me so I contact PayPal whom I paid through. They open a case and I win. Yeah, right. Even though their website shows returns go to Georgia, they want me to send the $235 salt cell to Australia where it is manufactured for the princely sum of $230! PayPal was no help on this saying they had no say in where the product was to be returned. They did say that they would chip in $20.00 to "offset some of the expense".
I would sell it on Ebay, but at this point I don't know if it works or not.
