This company deserves negative stars... an easy minus five stars.

Great price advertised... nothing delivered.

Promptly received UPS tracking information, showed "label created" (i. E. "Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet.")... after 6 weeks it never changed status to "Shipped".

Numerous emails sent... first two received reply from 'Amanda' that she would check with the warehouse ("sorry for the delay i will escalate this with our dispatch team and also the courier company").

Followed after not hearing back, again 'Amanda'..."i have emailed the warehouse and we should have a reply tomorrow". That was the last time I heard from 'Amanda'.

Six more email follow ups with no reply. Nothing. Nada. None.

Called the listed phone number, regardless of the automated attendant and number selected (sales or service) you get voice mail. Left messages with order # and tracking information, no response. Ever. Nothing. Nada. None.

Tons of reviews suggest that the product is crap. Five year warranty is not honored; since they do not return calls for sales... I have no reason to believe they would honor an after-sale warranty. If the product ever showed up!

Avoid this company like 2020! They are not reputable, in my opinion. Post sales actions and response provide no reason to consider otherwise.

I purchased the Platinum Edition replacement salt cell on 4/22/20 which said that it would be delivered 2-5 days. I figured that it might take a little longer due to Covid. I finally received it on May 8 and apparently it comes from Australia. My pool guy put it in on May 9. On May 10, I swear I have a video and a still shot time and date stamped from security camera, there were BUBBLES everywhere in the pool and spa. After the bubbles the spa stayed cloudy. Not only did the spa stay cloudy unless I turn the cell off, it gets a white powdery substance that isn't salt, or calcium. I called. I emailed. *crickets* My Visa company can deal with them now and I will gladly send them back the cell. I saw where someone gave them some stars because they canceled before the order shipped. All I have to say is to count your blessings for that!

Bought a salt cell that was oversized for my pool to make sure it wouldn't have to work hard. Despite all their attempted SPECIAL branding intended to make you think you're buying something different, the cell is NOTHING SPECIAL. It's a Compupool salt cell. They are a dime a dozen and can be purchased anywhere. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES. NO ONE RESPONDS TO EMAILS. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! There are many vendors out there who do good business and will earn your money. THE SaltPoolStore.com (Atlanta, GA) ARE SCAMMERS.

Ordered a product that only lasted 1 year. They had a 5 year warranty on on the Salt Cell. Had all the requirements for warranty. Company never responded to emails, or phone messages. Contacted Better Business and still did not get satisfaction. They did not replace, refund or make good on their broken product. Hoping I can let others know what I have learned DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I purchase a replacement Cell and was sent an incorrect cell and the housing I ordered was missing. Contacted the company and they sent me a return label and submitted a replacement order. I returned the first order, which was confirmed received at their business. They never shipped my replacement after a month from receiving the first order. No one ever answered my calls or returned my dozen plus emails and voice messages. On another note DO NOT use PAYPAL for large purchases. I filed a dispute and supplied all documentation and they denied my claim!

Do not buy anything from the Salt Pool Store. They are totally bogus. The address that the Salt Pool Store gives when returning items for refunds or replacements is not even their company. The address 3501 Woodhead Drive, Northbrook, IL ******* is a company called Chicago Tech, Inc. At one time Chicago Tech did preform shipping services for the Salt Pool Store. However, because of the lack of customer service support and complaints from customers about the Salt Pool Store, Chicago Tech quit doing business with them over a year ago. The folks at Chicago Tech said that they have over 3 pallets of returns that they do know what to do with. So, if you sent something back for refund or replacement It is probably on one of those pallets. Posted July 30,2020

Ordered a salt cell from them thinking that all indications showed it was the salt cell. TWO hours after ordering, I was advised that it was something else. I tried to call their customer service line and left multiple messages telling them to cancel the order ASAP... no return calls. I also left emails telling them to cancel the order... AGAIN, NO responses... I did this for 4 days, sending emails and leaving messages... and no response... THEN, on the 5th day, I get an email saying I can't cancel the order because they just shipped it...! HOW asinine is that.?
I emailed him back and notified him that I had already put in a dispute with the credit card company and to contact the carrier and have the shipment cancelled. NO response...
So now I have to watch the shipment carefully... and ALL THE WAY FROM AUSTRALIA... NOT THE U.S., LIKE THEY SAY! I'LL HAVE TO KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IT AND REFUSE THE PACKAGE WHEN THEY DELIVER IT.
STAY AWAY from this company and avoid them at all costs! Go somewhere else and pay the extra few dollars.
This company is worthless and doesn't deserve even 1 star!
OH YA! Their best line is... 3-5 days delivery... WHAT A CROCK of POOP! THEY LIE!

The addresses provided make this look like a company based in the US. This is not true. Product shipped from Australia. Salt cell came scratched up with dirt and solder on the cord. Advertises a 5 year warranty with part. The warranty breakdown is supposed free replacement the first year, 2nd year at a 30% cost to consumer, 3rd year 50% cost, 4th and 5th at 70% replacement cost. Very poor quality. Suck it up and buy OEM replacement. They also don't respond to emails.

I ordered a salt pool cell that cost $599. Instead they sent me one that cost $299. I have since purchased one from my local pool store, but they wont answer my emails or phone messages left. But someone did answer Capital One when they contacted them in regards to a chargeback. I am thankful I left an electronic trail. Capital One will be dealing with them, instead of me. Leave them alone. Return address on box was from Australia.
