I ordered a salt cell replacement for a hayward t-15, the site said it would be shipped in 3-5 business days, it's almost 2 weeks and i've received nothing. I've tried calling and only get an answering service and they won't respond to emails. I received a DHL tracking notice that said label created in Brisbane Australia i've contacted DHL and was told that they had not received and product to ship from the Salt Pool Store. This is definitely a scam site DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE SALT POOL STORE!

Purchased T-3 cell replacement on 6/29/22 with a 3-5 day arrival time. 8 days later 7/7/22 the package was to arrive via DHL. DHL delivered to wrong address but owned up to it & they gave instructions to the Salt Pool Store to file claim. Salt pool store threw it back at me as if it was my fault. I ordered another on Amazon & had it in 2 days... Buy elsewhere

Like everyone else i was taken by this scam outfit, order never received wont return call or emails, started complaint with PayPal hopefully p. P. and credit card companies will refuse to do business with them

They sent me a cell packaged poorly. Showed up damaged. Sent it back. Still no refund. Got paypal involved

Here's my experience with this company, I ordered a replacement salt cell on line from them without vetting them. I tried to pay for it with my credit cards, two different ones, both credit cards were declined.
I then used my Paypal account to pay for the purchase.
Yesterday I googled the company and found postings about the scamming that's going on with this company. I called the company to cancel the order and got an answering service, I asked that they relay the message that I wanted to cancel the order, no response, from them. I contacted Paypal and wanted to stop payment since I haven't received the product. Paypal answered immediately and declined to cancel the payment. I appealed to Paypal again and said that the payment is going to a Trust fund instead of Salt pool Store. "Fool me once, shame on you fool me twice shame on me"

As with all the other claims stated I had a similar experience. Never received tracking. I called them only to have a message taken and told I would be called back which I never received. I have disputed the transaction through PayPal. Wish I would have read the complaint reviews first which I normally would have.

I wish I had read the reviews about this store and I wouldn't have purchased the item! I order a saltwater pool generator which you know is critical for a saltwater pool. I called after not hearing anything although they say shipping is 1-3 business days. I was told they'd check and after another week of waiting, I asked again. They responded saying due to the overwhelming response they were out of stock, maybe they should have told me when they received my order? I told to cancel the order and then I get a notice from DHL that my item is being shipped, again I asked to cancel. I'm suppose to receive the item today and was going to refuse delivery but due to the bad reviews I'm not sure this scammer of a company would refund my money. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

6-12-2022 ordered a salt cell. Order came in damaged. Sent back no replacement ever shipped. No response. Spend your money with somebody else. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I will let Visa deal with them. They should be removed from internet. Dave P

These are not ethical people and couldn't care less about you as a customer after your purchase. AND, their warranties are not as they appear. My salt cell failed just into the 4th year. I gave them all the info on the warranty form including water tests and photos. After a couple days delay, they emailed and said I needed to return the cell for testing and the turn around would be 4-5 days. I started following up on the 4th day. They would not return phone messages and would not reply to emails. On the 8th day, I got someone to respond to a chat. They had no record of receiving my cell. I emailed them the UPS delivery confirmation. A couple days later they said they emailed me a "warranty invoice" which I did not receive. A couple days later they said they emailed it to the 4 year old email address from the purchase rather than the email address that the warranty claim and other follow up was done through. A couple days later they emailed it to the current address. The warranty invoice was $399. The same exact product was listed on their website for $374. I asked them to correct it and I'm still waiting. All totaled I'm 3 weeks into their 4-5 day turn around. It is obvious they are intentionally delaying the matter.
Call the sales line and they answer on the 2nd ring. Call the service line and you will never speak to a person. They are a crooked operation.

Like others here, I bought a sale cell from these guys. The first one failed in two months and they sent a replacement. The replacement failed after a little over a year. I delayed in getting it back to them and they've now offered me only a 30% discount on buying yet another device. If the first two didn't work, why would I throw good money after bad?

I paid $348. When I installed my salt cell as soon as it arrived, it was leaking. I tried reinstalling 5 different times and always would be leaking. I had to pay to ship it back and I asked for a refund after reading these reviews. They ignored my request for a refund and sent me a replacement. I tried calling FedEx to stop the delivery and wasn't able to stop it. The delivery box was half way open and damaged. I am dealing with my credit card company and I am just so angry that they are still able to be in business. I am sending another email to them asking for a return invoice to ship back my replacement, which I did not ask for! Please stay away! My advice, buy these salt cells from your local pool store that will guarantee it.

Bought a T-15 cell and installed. It was faulty with crack in it. Contacted and said to send with tracking at my expense to replace. Called multiple times and emailed get run around every time no one there to answer question or hang up on you. This company is a scam will be and Visa will be getting my next call for fraud services.

Ordered on June 4th item was in stock according to website and was supposed to arrive in 2 to 5 business days just called because I had not received any info on the order. Customer service agent said there was a mistake on their inventory and that the product just arrived and would ship out today. And should arrive sometime next week Are you kidding?! I said it was your mistake and they should expedite the shipping. He said No we don't do that. Even though it was their mistake?! The agent was unbelievably rude, didn't care asked if I wanted to cancel the order. Which I would have done if I could have found it somewhere else. Never. Never will I order from this company again. Buy please beware when it comes to your pool and you need parts for it. You expect it when they say it will be there. Or you can have worse problems with your pool. Please there are much better pool companies out there. I thought I would try this one because of the price of what I needed and some of the other places I use did not have the one we wanted. But never again horrible, horrific company and customer service. They can't stay in business if people stop Ordering. Check out the complaints at the BBB about them. Shadey company I hope I have a genuine product whenever it gets here. You've been warned

Like all of you on this website (and god I wish I found this last year before I placed my order), I was scammed by www.saltpoolstore.com and the manufacture Compupool. I purchased the Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell for my Jandy Aquapure 13 months ago. This is the 3rd cell I have needed in the 15 years (each usually lasted 7 years) of having my salt pool, so when I saw the $379 RETAIL price (I will come back to the capital letters in a minute) and the 5 year warranty, I couldn't pass up the deal. Fast forward 1 year and 2 weeks, and my cell died. I contacted the company for a replacement, and after paying the shipping fee to send the cell back for diagnostics, they said I would owe $239 for a new cell which was 30% of $795 which they claim is the RETAIL price. In the 5 times I have visited the site, the price was always $379, although the suggested retail price has gone up from $795 to $835. They are selling them for the lower price which makes the replacement cost $113, not $239.
During my conversations with the company, they blamed all of this on the Manufacturer. They said that this was their policy. Here is another issue with that statement. My cell said Compupool on the unit. I tried calling the manufacturer's phone number in Florida, but the number listed is for an advertisement and there is no way to contact the manufacturer. I tried emailing them, but never got a response.
I am tied of companies like this getting away with scams. I know the saying, if it is too good to be true, it probably is, but I really thought this company was different. I am getting ready to file a class action lawsuit against both the website and manufacturer for time and money lost. If you have been scammed by these companies or your cells died prematurely, please send me an email so we can discuss this and you can be added to the class action suit.

Never received item after sent money for warranty. So I ordered another one and still have not received. I have left messages and no contact

The original cell lasted 13 months. Sent back and paid half the original purchase price for the replacement, which lasted 11 months. Sent this one back and they sent a bill for as much as I originally paid for the 1st one. Won't answer emails or calls asking for an explanation and all they send you is an invoice. Stay Away! Filing a Formal BBB complaint.

My cell is 1 year 8 months old, failed temperature sensor, company told me that since it's past 1 year I wil have to pay to ship it to them, buy a bypass tube to keep filtering water, now buy chlorine tabs, all while THEY decide if they will replace it. All because it lasted a whole year woo-hoo. I will pay more for my next cell just because of this.

100% Scam. Product failed shortly after 1 yr (like many other customers). Applied for warranty replacement but here is the real fraud. SWP base the replacement calculation on their high fake price, not the price they sell 100% of the time. Therefore if your product was purchased 2 years + 1 day or more ago your warranty replacement price is more than what you would pay as a new customer. Their 5 yr warranty is therefore meaningless and false advertisement. Avoid at all costs.
