Over the past few months, I've spent a lot of money on purchases that I'm very happy with; however, I did not like the fabric of a set of pajamas. I returned them, with tags and bags and they were sent back to me stating: not in saleable condition.
I spoke with a rep, today. They said, that they would pick them up for review.
Let's see how they handle this!
This my second in a matter of 2 weeks that I ordered from off fifth and I have issues my order. Forget about getting help with their customer service. You hardly can understand the representative. They have 1 word to send you away "I'll give 10% on your next order"
If you ever try to use it, you will get this error message "coupon has already been used"
Can someone tell me what's going on? I don't have much time to waste.
I received an incomplete order, my discount was not applied and I am truly pissed with the representative that I cannot understand.
I ordered a pair of shoes that were supposed to be Kenneth Cole Gentle souls and when I received them, they were filthy and scratched! They were in a Karl Lagerfield box. I can't believe that this store, or any store would send a pair of shoes that cost over $100 to a customer. The customer service was great and after I sent the a picture, they sent me a return label immediately.
Company advertises many discounts and sends many promotional emails. However, the discounts are not reflected in the final invoices. Customer service replies late to email queries and sometimes not at all. Beware. Won't be purchasing again from this company.
I made an online order and I was charged the preauthorized amount plus the purchase amount and they did not reimburse me even after many phone calls and proof from my credit card! Never again
I returned several items by mail and Saks did not provide a refund for all of the items I returned. I have never had this happen before. When I said I returned all of the items in the same box the rep basically accused me of lying. Stay away from this lying merchant!
I bought a pair of jeans online from Saks off fifth. When I was on the website it suggested a size to buy based on past purchases, so I bought the size suggested. When I received the package the jeans were way too small. Now this was a "final sale" but I feel, that I should be given some latitude for a return given that they suggested a size.
I sent them back for a return along with a note saying that their customer service people said that they would give me a refund and put a note in the system saying so. Two weeks later I receive a box again in the mail. They spent money on FedEx to send it back to me again and was told that I will not be getting my money back.
In today's "Amazon age" this type of online behavior will mean nothing but failure for them.
$300+ watch sold, fell apart within 3 months. Due to their strict 30 day return policy, there was no willingness to accept a return or offer ANY sort of resolution. Customer service department is rude, outsourced, and unwilling to escalate call or emails to a manager. Plenty of other retailers out there to shop with who have better core customer values.
If there's negative rating. Will definitely not give a 1 star. They don't deserve it.
Placed an order of $300 CAD egiftcard, before I placed the order, I asked to representative via online chat (name Keisha)
She confirmed I will received a $50 CAD egiftcard and was advised that I can place the order on phone as well.
Right after I purchased, I found out I was NOT able to use the gift card online for Canadian order. And was NOT able to use via phone order as well.
One customer representative on phone even told me, no refund, you can use it when you fly to Toronto/Calgary... (where there's a Saks store)
What a joke...
AND, I was told I am NOT qualified for the $50 CAD bonus gift card as well. Because it's not in USD.
Mind blown...
This Keisha from online chat really should reflect yourself and stop misleading customer and wait customers time and money.

Customer service is horrible. I've purchased handbags 2 times, nothing came. They asked me to get to the waitlist they will honor the price for me. When the merchandise arrives they didn't give the discount price. BS!

I live in a more rural area without good shopping so I do a lot of online shopping. I just had my first return of my life rejected and sent back to me. When this happens they will do NOTHING for you. Luckily I do have an Off5th an hour from me and one day left of my 30 days for returns and made the trip and returned the items at the store. All $730.00 worth, There was absolutely nothing wrong with the items that were tried on once and put back in the box. 2 of the items wrinkled early and there was some lint on them because they are black and a bad material, hence the return. I will seriously never order from them again.
I bought a Valentino bag in June with 3 months the bag chain strap turned colour and started knotting. I take it back the store manager said they are unable to resell the bag, I said you sold me a defective product and you won't replace to fix the item she then supposedly went to her GM Mr. Guzman who upheld her decision. I was told to go to Valentino. I wrote to Saks and was told sorry for your troubles here's 15% off your next purchase. THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT PURCHASE.
This was my first and last time ordering from sale off Fifth. I tried ordering two pairs of shoes for a wedding, so I could try them on and decide between the two. The first pair - which I liked more - was cancelled after the order had gone through. No worries, things happen, I ordered from Nordstrom Rack. Once both pairs arrived, I tried them on with the dress I was going to be wearing, and ultimately decided to return the pair I'd ordered from saks.
The entire process was a huge pain - the only store near me refused to accept them as they were closing down. Fine. I print out the return label, pay the $9.99 return fee, and ship them off. Today I find out my return has been rejected, and the shoes sent back to me, do to them being in "unsalable" condition from use.
To be clear, these shoes never left my bedroom, and were tried on maybe twice. I called customer service but they were unable to do anything for me, despite me looking at a brand new pair of shoes. I have never in my life had a return rejected, as I am extremely careful with clothes and shoes I'm not sure I'm keeping yet. While the deals are good at Saks, I can't run the risk of purchasing from them again.
I placed an order with Saks in late July. They attempted a delivery but were unable to find my apartment stating that I had given an incorrect address. I triple checked my address and it is correct. I expressed this to them and they told me once they received the package from the delivery company I would receive my refund within 30 business days (which seems like a long time). I waited the 30 business days then sent another e-mail having still not received my refund. I was told by them that I still needed to wait 10-14 business days. I waited again and then sent a follow up e-mail requesting my refund. They responded saying that as of September 25th the parcel was still in transit back to the facility and after they receive it I would have to wait another 10-14 business days. I do not understand why it should take over 2 months to receive a refund when my package was not delivered because their courier service was unable to find my apartment even when given the correct address. Horrendous customer service - do not shop from this store.
I ordered a pair of boots, arrived on time and in good condition. I had called to confirm my address, no problem answered right away.
The Saks Fifth Avenue sells preowned items without indicating on their site or posting pictures of the item's current condition. I online purchased a HERMES watch. It came in heavily used condition and without the original box or proper packaging. Customer service is insulting, unresponsive when I asked them to send me the original box or questioned about the watch condition. Please see picture of their email response. This store does NOT understand that just because an item is at a discountated price, then it is fine for them to send a heavily worn and torn item without any orginal box or documinations.
I ordered 4 swimsuits. Kept 2 sent back 2. The one they gave me credit for. The other one said it was unsaleable and sent back. It never had a panty liner but I tried on with my underwear. The tags pulled off when tried on. Sent tags and all back bc too small. Had it on for 5 seconds. They sent back said I should have told them it arrived without the liner. Not happy!
Such a $#*!ty website... if you want to waste your money go for it... if not stay far away from this website... I ordered a red pump... first day I wore... heel broke. Called customer care... they asked me to return it... returned... it came right back... again called them 4 times... every time they said 'with in 24 to 48 hours they will call or send me email' but every time there is nothing so 5th time they finally said they cannot take back their piece of $#*!... so what will I do with this new broken piece! Their cc is just full of liars... all thieves... I wish I read some reviews before buying... do not make the same mistake as I did... I am telling everyone not to buy from this website they are nothing but liars... I called them from last 45 days just to return a broken shoe... no record nothing... every time you have to call story what happened... but before every call they will tell you story...'Your call may be recorded bla bla bla bla bla...
I purchased a dress online and they would not take back due to their claim of stains and cologne smell. This dress is in perfect condition. They would not let me send back for a second look, so I feel that's how they are making their money. Do not shop there they are theives. Worse expierence of my life. I will stick with Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Macy's.
