I purchased a 160.00 runner for my foyer and it arrived crooked. Instead of refunding or sending a new one, they wanted me to return or a 10 percent discount. Horrible service and terrible customer service.
We recently moved and needed the perfect rug to create contrast between the beige couch and the beige carpet. I must say, this is one of our best home decor purchases so far. Great quality rug, perfect size (10x14), no shedding with a luxurious look. This rug is perfect! It arrived in 2 days literally.
The dye job is inconsistent. Half is fine but the other half is so faded that the pattern is barely recognizable. I will never purchase from you again!
I ordered a rug and after 2 weeks it was still shedding by the handfuls. When the small dog walked across it all the fuzz got stuck in it's paws. We vacuumed it on low setting - turned off beat bar - and it pulled a ton of fuzz, wrapped around the vacuum roller wheel, and left streaks in the rug. I spoke with Raynia in Customer service and she was able to review the photos i sent and offer a refund since it appeared to be a faulty rug. She was excellent, thorough, efficient and had excellent cust svc skills.
I originally ordered a 8x6 rectangular rug. It came rolled and after a day or so, it laid flat and I was happy with the purchase. Subsequently I decided to purchase a matching 8x8 round rug. First, it came folded and I have yet to get the wrinkles out. Second, the rug doesn't match the original rug. The pattern is dull and inconsistent. Very disappointed.
I ordered a rug runner from them. It was painless and the rug arrived very quickly. Unfortunately the rug was a cheap piece of garbage despite its many great reviews. It was defective, bubbled/ rumpled all over. I attempted for one week to flatten it out with weight before deciding to return this garbage.
Now the adventure began. I was required to fill out a return request on their site. They said they'd decide if I could return it in a few days! I called them a couple days later after not getting a return tag. I insisted on a return tag and was provided one within a few hours. I packaged it up. The next day they emailed me and wanted pictures of the defective garbage. I had to take the package apart and take pics. I didn't hear from them again so I called and told them to process the return... they had the pics and why didn't they ask for them in the 1st place before I packaged it. They "approved" my return finally. So one week to get them to take the garbage back. I had to deliver it to a FEDEX location. After they received the rug a week later, I did not hear anything for several days so again I called them.
I asked them what was taking so long with a defective return. They indicated they had to examine it. Why do they have to examine a defective rug they have pics of... to resell it to someone else? Within 24 hrs they approved the refund that took a week to get to me. Other merchants can accomplish this in a day but they need a week.
This was rug under 100 bucks. If you want to go through this for a defective rug, imagine what you'll go through for any other reason. I'll never shop here again.
I previously purchase a Rabia rug and was very pleased with it. So, decided to order two more. The most difficult part of purchasing one of these rugs is picking out the pattern and color. Finally, after hours of comparing and considering, I added two to my cart and completed the transaction.
I ordered a $400+ rug for my dining room, I was so excited when it got delivered. I opened the rug to find it had a huge cut in it. I sent a photo to rugs.com then called and talked to a very nice lady named Latoya. She sent me a replacement, (sucks we had to pick a different rug cause they didn't have another rug that I ordered.)
So I waited another week for my replacement rug. Got it opened it and it's got multiple stains on it and smashed areas from where it was used before and not a new rug like I was under the impression I was ordering. Once again I took photos and called rugs.com. Told them what happened and got told that they took a photo of the rug at the warehouse and it was perfectly fine new rug. I asked for said photo. Got said photo. Photo shows 90% of the rug the 10% of the rug that's missing in warehouse photo has the stain on it. Though you could see a Lil bit of stain if you knew where you were looking. I basically felt like I got called a liar about the replacement rug being ruined also.
So now I have to send back the rug and wait to get a refund.
So if you want to spend lots of money on a pre-owned rug rugs.com is the place to go.
If you are expecting a new rug I would suggest shopping elsewhere.
I received my last shipment today and was amazed at the speedy delivery especially at a time when everything seems to slowed down
The rugs are beautiful, just like the pictures, good quality, bright colors.
I am so very, very pleased with such good service
I'm disappointed. The description was deceptive. Rugs.com advertised this rug as blue, gray and cream. When I received it, the colors were NOT blue, gray or cream. The were actually beige/taupe (not gray) and aqua (not blue). I already have a beige rug and needed to replace it with grays and light blues to match my new light gray couch. So far, rugs.com is not willing to accept a return.
Never again. The rug came, and we could smell the mold/mildew through the packaging. We hoped we were wrong, but made only a cut in the plastic on top in case we needed to ship it back. Sure enough the smell was overwhelming when we opened it. We immediately taped it back up, and contacted the company to return it. It took forever for the label for the return, then forever to be refunded. They didn't even refund us the full price of the rug. Good luck getting ahold of an actual person to speak to about anything. And now we get incessant emails to review the product. Never, never again will I use this company.
I paid 179.00 for this very cheap in quality area rug. This rug will not lay flat. I tried putting heavy weights on it and put it by a hot radiator. It looks like a lake on a windy day. Im pissed. I feel like I have been price gouged by this company. In the trash it goes. I am very unhappy.
After a week of delayed delivery, I contacted them to find out they sold the rug twice, but didn't alert me. Rather than refund, they tried to push a replacement as long as it was with 2% of original cost...
BUT -- the rug pad they shipped of course, and won't take back. So if you buy from them... expect the rug to maybe still be sold to someone else... but they'll refuse the return of the rug pad.
Horrible, not a good deal. I bet their claim the wrinkles will go away in days to weeks will bring me past the return policy deadline. Buy local!
... and just made it MINE! I can't wait!
It was so easy to navigate through the site and choose what I like. It also helped that I was able to use the "picture-it-in-my-room feature."
Photos provided at different angles helped to see the rug
Im 32, it's my first time actually looking to purchase a large " living room size" area rug to accommodate all my furniture. I was so surprised to find the prices on Rugs.com website; as I have been searching tirelessly everywhere and most retailers, I found were not at all easy on the wallet!……rugs.com, however, is affordable with what also seems to be good quality rugs and they have great reviews. With that being said, I have no reason to shop for rugs anywhere else! I can't wait til my new rug arrives in the mail. #rugsdotcom4ever
We needed a new rug for our breakfast area in the kitchen. Were convinced we'd never find one as good as the one that's worn out at a reasonable price. Rugs.com proved us wrong. We found a perfect replacement at a steep discount. A very happy experience.
Easy shopping, love the "see this in my room" Feature! Great Prices and Specials!
Answer: Impossible to return! They don't provide a return lable you have to call. I called twice staying on hold 20min and again for over 40 min before I hung up. Tried email twice, still here with no response after 3 weeks! Stay away from them!
Answer: eSaleRugs.com sells the rugs that I purchased from Rugs.com for much less money and they were delivered even faster. I will not be doing business with Rugs.com anymore due to inability to contact customer service unless you hang on the phone on hold for more than an hour. Rugs.com has lost another loyal customer.
Answer: Please may I have your email used when you made the purchase or order ID I will locate your order.

Answer: Hello Mary! Our apologies for the delayed response (we don't get many inquiries on this platform). Typically the rug will lay flat within 1-2 weeks on it's own, however if you would like to hasten this process, we recommend the following these 4 steps: Step 1 Try back-rolling the carpet. To do so, unroll the carpet and then roll it again, this time rolling it in the opposite direction. Let the rolled carpet sit for a day or two and then unroll it again. Step 2 Place a piece of furniture or a stack of heavy books on the creases for a few days to flatten them out using weight. If the corners of the rug are curling, curl them backward, flatten them back out and place weights in just the corners of the rug. Step 3 If your rug still won't lie flat, apply some heat to it. Spread the rug over a clean concrete or asphalt slab such as your driveway on a sunny day. It's best to do this in the afternoon on a warm day, giving the surface time to absorb the sun's heat all morning. Usually, one or two hours in the sun is enough to release wrinkles and creases. If you don't have a large enough patch of sun, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to heat up the creases of the rug and release them. Always hold the hair dryer 6 to 9 inches away from the rug and use a sweeping motion. It's possible to melt rug fibers, so use a low or medium heat setting and keep the hair dryer moving back and forth at all times. Step 4 Tape it down. Double-sided carpet tape is available in furniture and home improvement stores. Apply this tape to the back of your rug; then remove the paper covering the adhesive and smooth the rug over the floor. Press the tape down firmly, smoothing it as you go. Carpet tape works on hard floors and on existing wall-to-wall carpet, holding your rug in place to flatten existing creases and eliminate new ones.
