Don't get me wrong, I LOVE rue 21, but the online store/customer service SUCKS. My order took 5 days to process, and once it finally shipped they sent me an email saying it would come the next day (May 7th) but then Immediately after I get an email from ups saying I would receive the package 3 days later (May 10th), package never came until May 12th, and after 10 days of waiting for my order they sent me the WRONG SHIRT. So I messaged via Instagram and they told me I would have to return the shirt and pay AGAIN for the same shirt I already bought! They didn't take the blame for their $#*! up. So now I'm stuck with a shirt I don't want, because whoever packaged my clothing didn't pay attention to the sheet that tells exactly what you ordered. I included the picture of what I bought VS what I got. Clearly not the same.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Do NOT care about customers at all. Not only was it being processed for a long period of time. It was delivered to the wrong place & someone by the name HERNANDEZ, signed for it.

Then it says it was delivered by USPS today. & NOTHING HERE. I contacted all parties and RUE21 said they can't do anything about it because they didn't deliver it? Are you kidding me? Then gave me an automated message to look around apartment. Like my 9 month pregnant self didn't already do that.
& EXPLAINED I went to neighbors and checked all doors.
But it isn't their fault because they didn't deliver it. I asked for a full refund because I ordered from THEM. And they dismissed me.

NEVER ordering from them again. Not the first time they messed up my order but at least the first time they tried to correct it.

I order two items. After two hours I got an email that one item was out of stock and wouldn't be sent. I sent an email asking for my order to be canceled so I could add something else to it and avoid paying shipping twice for their mistake of letting me order something out of stock. They wouldn't let me cancel the order because it had been more than 30 minutes even though that was their time frame for notifying me, and told me the only thing I could do was return the items if it fit their policy. I would not recommend ordering from this site as they are not user friendly and are not prompt with their notifications that they have changed your order and there's nothing you can do about it

I went into the Auburn store about 3 weeks ago and got some terrible service! I decided to give it another chance, and I am BEYOND disappointed. Once again, Kayla, (according to my receipt) helped me. She was so rude about it. I would ask simple questions like how much something was and she would just roll her eyes at me, or direct me over to someone else. It almost seemed like she hated her job. I sincerely hope she is not a manager. Because, if so, she is the worst manager I've ever seen. In my opinion, she should be fired. Or at the most, depromoted. I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life! And I'm almost 50.

Placed an order for 4 items online over
3 weeks ago and the items "shipped" super fast except they were never actually shipped! Everytime i would track the package it would read "READY FOR UPS PICKUP" after a week i emailed the company and didnt get a response after 4 days so i email them a second time asking them to just cancel the dang order. 2 minutes later they respond saying they're sorry for the inconvinence and that id be refunded within 3-5 days later. Well that was days ago and finally today i get another email saying due to my choice in checkout i should be refunded within 14 days. I feel like im just getting the run around here. Stay away from this website
Worst customer service ive ever experienced! If they go out of buisness i won't be the slightest bit of surprised.

I placed an order on Black Friday for a coat at such a great deal only to have them email me DAYS after the order was placed that they were sold out. I didn't make a fuss and figured there will be other deals. Well I checked this morning and the coat appeared to be back in stock so I add it to my cart, checkout, and once again I got a notification after the fact that it's out of stock. So on one hand, at least they notified me same-day this time. However, they clearly need to fix something between their warehouse and website management department. I shouldn't have been able to make the purchase if it was out of stock. It's a disappointment and a waste of time.

I have shopped with Rue21 since I was a college sophomore and NEVER had an issue. I ordered 7 items on 12/4/19 and received only 6 that I paid for. Instead of shipping a dress I already purchased, they sent me open toe heels! I called CS and they informed me that they cannot "re-ship" my items. How can you "re-ship" an item if I NEVER got it in the first place? They didn't say anything about it being out of stock or nothing just that they cannot SHIP the item that I PAID for. $#*!ing ridiculous

My order was supposed to come in on December 5,2019. I received the shipping confirmation number however, UPS never updated that it had shipped. So on December 5,2019. I reached out to Rue21 and they told me to wait the 10 days. I contacted UPS and they said they didn't know where the package was. So now Rue21 said all they can do is marked the package as stolen and refund me my money. The sad part is I got a really good deal on the promotion they had and I cannot get the same promotion again because they're "sold out"!
