Rue 21 allowed the sale of tshirt designs to be sold with their company by people who stole them from someone else. They have been sex trafficking and stalking and attacking the person that they stole these designs from ever since. After selling the company says they dont have any information to show they were sold with the company. Yet this woman is still being stalked and is unable to prove it while the people who sold the designs to the company get away with continued stalking, hacking, and sex trafficking. I wouldnt shop there!

The website is constantly having glitches and errors. One day, an item's page will be up, then suddenly the page will be completely missing, only to go up again later. I once emailed about this problem because I wanted to order a product that was in the search results, but the link kept redirecting me to another item, and all I got was "clear your cache, use a different browser, or use a different device". I sent another email explicitly stated that this issue was on their end and their reply was a copy-paste, "We truly apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in processing your order we had an system issue with our website. If you need further assistance on processing the order, please call *******783 & a representative will be happy to assist and process the order for you!".

Speaking of broken website, I ordered a sweater that still showed to have my size available. An hour after I ordered, the sweater was cancelled because it was "out of stock". The page still showed that all sizes were available, so either rue21 didn't update the item's page to show that it was out of stock, or they made a mistake and did have the inventory after all. I would have just cancelled the order, but I used a reward that I don't think they would have refunded. I didn't want to chance having my order cancelled again, so I didn't try to re-order the sweater in the same size, and went for the next size up. Surprisingly, that did ship, but strangely, after I ordered, the whole page for the sweaters went down, in all colorways and sizes. Rue21 really needs to work on their website, because as is, it doesn't always reflect the correct prices, will have pages randomly disappear and reappear, and the stock availability isn't accurate.

I've order multiple times from rue21 and recently I've had issues with the last 3 orders. Items I've purchased all of a sudden become out of stock yet you can still order the said item. This is the last time I will be ordering from rue21. Customer service is a joke and no help. Don't waste your time shopping with tthem you can go else where for better selection and better customer service.

I ordered a Christmas gift on Dec. 18th, 2020 that I have yet to receive. I called the customer service several times for a refund and they refused. My order apparently lost with USPS but they keep pushing back and telling me I have to deal with USPS. I ordered my items with Rue 21. Once they have your money you are on your own. I have submitted emails to this company with no response. I have never had this kind of service from a well known company who was not interested in accommodating me in any way. I will never do business with this business again.

It dont work, i rather go inside store to shop cus online dont help for nothing, my app gets loading it annoying

I made an online order. The next morning, I received an email that one of the items that I ordered is out of stock and sent me a new invoice. I called their phone number and the agent tells me that per policy, they cannot cancel orders. After asking to speak to a manager for 15 minutes, he told me that my order was canceled and refunded. He said I would get a email by the end of the day. That night, I received an email that my package was shipped. ARE YOU SERIOUS. AWFUL

I used to shop at Rue21 regularly when I lived in Utah but now that I'm back in California there are no local stores. I decided to purchase a few items online and instantly regretted it. First, an item was canceled before the order even shipped but yet I was still charged for it once the other items were sent out and was given grief for wanting my money back (red flag there) then when I received my order an item was missing. After multiple attempts of trying to contact them (said I would hear from them within 1-2 business days that turned into over a week) I finally got a response and instead of taking responsibility for not putting the item in the box and giving me a refund, they stated the package weight indicated that all the items were in there (the missing item was a pair of earrings) and then tried putting blame on UPS for the missing item. Mind you, I never once complained about a damaged box or anything of that matter and the fact that they would go so low to criticize another company blew my mind. After complaining even further and demanding my money be returned they ended up only refunding the item without tax. I know, not a huge deal, but after all the trouble I went through and rude customer service I should've gotten at least a full refund if not extra (such as coupon or discount) for their horrible service. Now I have to spend the rest of the gift card on their website but once it's used up I will never order from here again!

I ordered items offline. When I paid the items were in stock. Magically after an hour or so I get an email stating that the some of the items are no longer in stock that I ordered. However when I looked online the website shows the items Rue 21 removed are still in stock! Rue 21 claimed to only have one of the items I purchased in stock which was less than the amount of shipping! I called customer service to cancel the rest of the order or provide me with a solution to not charge me for $7.95 shipping. Noone wants to pay $7.95 for one $5.00 item! The lady on customer service was NOT helpful and pretended that she would send me an email to "investigate" my claim! I should have known something was strange when I called the local Rue 21 and asked if the items were the same price in store as they were online. The lady in-store informed me that the items cost regular price in store and they were not doing a red tag sale. The in-store lady informed me that the only way I could receive the discount was to purchase the items online for that price. I wish I had just said screw it and not ordered from here! Now my account is missing funds and I can't dispute the charge until it no longer says "pending"! I have been shopping Rue 21 in-store for years with no problems but I will NEVER again shop online because it is just a big massive scam! Protect your funds and shop in store! I can't upload a photo because the items are no longer in stock!

I sat down for hours browsing through the site and selecting items. After I made my purchase, an hour later I got an email saying my order has been cancelled. Now I have 3 different holds on my account for the one purchase. They are now holding on to up to $600 for me and I don't have an order. SMH. Worst I tried reaching out to customer service and nothing. Do not shop here, the site is like a fraud!

Customer Service Sucks. Bought items for my teenage daughter and never received them. Rue21's customer service had a general response ready which essentially said kick rocks. I know that we are in Covid times, and people are on edge more than they usually are but to know that this place can so easily say FU to a customer is disheartening. Trust, believe, and depend on me letting the world know about this Rue21. Bad move. I really hope that people see my sincerity in this and stay away from ordering online from you. Your company sucks.

I placed an order and spent a significant amount of money. My order said it was delivered by the post office who has access to my mailbox but I never received it. I called and emailed customer service and both of them pretty much were like "oh well" so they got my money. I didn't have anything but an unpleasant experience. This is my first and last time shopping with them. Anytime I've ever purchased from ANYWHERE if the package was stolen or missing I was always sent a replacement order. Rue 21 absolutely will not and I don't like that. They're a business and their parcels should be insured
