I have been looking for the perfect thumb ring for a while, so I was very excited and happy when I received my Italian 18kt Gold Yellow Bypass ring! It is beautiful and is just as it is described. That being said, the gold is very soft & very pliable! It catches on things and it actually loosened up and has fallen off my finger twice. I'm almost afraid to wear it for fear of losing it. I am constantly making sure it is tight around my finger and because I wear it as a thumb ring, I noticed small "dent" marks in the ring from either carrying and/or gripping things.
Needless to say, I am very disappointed with this ring and although it is pretty, I'm sorry to say that I would not recommend purchasing it.
