Quick and easy apartment hunt. Lots of tools to help you get it done as efficiently as possible. Overall it was a successful hunt.

We used Roomster last fall to find a suitable apartment for our daughter to move into when she started a new job. The many different filters helped slim down the results, and she was able to find a couple nice girls to room with, in a safe neighborhood as well. We heart Roomster :)

Looking for an apartment to move in July wasnt easy. Most places had leases for June and August and the July pot was slim pickens. But I sure as hell made the most of it, and nearly met with every available place I could. And of course like any story, theres a good ending. Met my now roommate, Jacob, and weve been kickin it every day. Hes been showing me around Brooklyn and told me all the hotspots around the city.

Moved into a new place this past weekend, and little did I know my new roommate is a chef and an AMAZING one at that! But back to the review, I really want to thank the people at Roomster.com for helping me out with all my questions, and by doing so helping me utilize the website to its maximum. There are a lot of nifty tools on here and I found the perfect place for me in virtually no time. A++

Been using the Roomster interface for my last few roommate swaps, this is the first time I came to leave a review. Gotta say, it has definitely improved in the last few years. One of my favorite newer additions is how easy it is to check out the people who message you and take a closer look on their social media (because it says a lot about a person). And beyond finding new roommates, I made some cool new friends too.

Found myself some roommates and a dope crib in like no time. Chill how i found my roommates so easily, lots of characters in this city.

Thanks to Roomster.com I was able to move into my new apartment, cosidering the time crunch I was under it was a long shot I could find a place that I could settle in quickly without too much of a hassle so that I could get straight to business, but it all fell into place perfectly beginning with that first click.

Moved to the city in the beginning of the summer and was supposed to live in summer housing at the FIT dorms, little did I know there was a glitch in the system and my room was given to someone else, leaving me stranded to fend for myself. A local recommended Roomster.com and I connected immediately to find anything that could work right away. I met my current roommate, Shay-Lynne, who was also searching for someone ASAP when her former roommate left abruptly, and it is all history ever since!

I just moved into a great place close to university but for the life of me couldn’t find a roommate and it was getting way too time consuming, Roomster was easy to set up and I was able to find someone who met the criteria very easily.

This site is clearly trying to take advantage of people looking for an apartment. I am okay with paying to look at my message inbox. I am okay with having automatic billing added to my account (as long as I can unsubscribe). What I am not okay with is when the website does not clearly tell you about those things before you consider using their service. Please devs, make how your website works more clear to your users. I am going to ask payPal to withold payment while I look into your charges. I was estatic to find that someone had tried to make a better way to find sublet rooms, and I am dissappointed that it turned into a painful and unpleasant experience.

The issue is that was still unclear that buying a 15 dollar package would instate a recurring 20 dollar subscription fee. Take the above message with what you will though.

Signed up for the free service but realized i would need to pay to communicate with potential roommates. Paid for a three day subscription and actually got in contact with a few real folks and it actually looks like one of them is gonna work out. So, I can't complain about that. I also cancelled my account effortlessly after I felt I had contacted enough people. The one thing that is slightly strange though are the number of really attractive 20-something year old women that got filtered to my e-mail as potential roommates after I signed up. Despite my login name here, I am actually a 40+ year old man and it seemed like the site only felt obligated to tell me when a really hot young woman was looking for a room to rent. Lots of folks posting for rooms but I only get alerted about the babes? Like I said, this website may have actually worked to get me a roommate but it just felt sketchy.

I was living with 3 boyfriends who I knew from college and two of them had their girlfriends over all the time so the apartment was getting really crowded! After finishing college and starting working this became too much for me to handle so I decided it was time to move on. I had heard really good reviews about Roomster but had never actually experienced it first hand. I decided to try it out and I found some really great options on there and in the end decided on a great place with 2 like-minded people. I couldn’t be happier!

I luv this website. If you're a college student use this. It is great and I found a place so easy.

Tried and trusted website that I can highly recommend first hand. Both my kids found better their current homes on here, and in different parts of the city. I know that the family will use this website again. We ran into some issues with our account and it was resolved within 24 hours. We are satisfied customers!

Needed to find a person for a spare room in one of my houses and started using this website and have found it optimal for my needs. Have successfully delivered a new roommate to the people who occupy one of my houses. Easy to use and trusted which is the most important.

Right? That’s what they say in the real estate business at least and the same goes for the rental market. Location was the most important thing for me and I was surprised to find so many options on here (Washington Heights) as I wanted to be close to my office and family. Happy to say I was able to find what I needed.

I just broke up with my girl and I had practically been livin with her so I needed sth so went on here and put a profile up of myself didn’t expect much but things happened and found a place in Queens. I stayed with a friend while looking so things were chill. Met some cool pp on here

My fiancé and I recently decided to move in together so we both needed to move out of our old places and find a new one that suited us. You can search for entire places on here, meaning it’s not only for people looking for roomates. That’s the best, I am so over living with other people and am ecstatic about finally living with my man.
