I have never seen one app where you have to pay to read the messages... it's ridiculous! You could get some commissions from advertisements from users. But for reading messages? RIDICULOUS!
"Megaphone" Potentially could be a good feature, but since there is no instructions on how to use it it is absolutely worthless. I get many dozens of messages from members by them using Megaphone And I respond to most of them if not all. 99.9% never respond back to me, which tells me that they have no idea what my list thing is all about. Hopefully someone there at Roomster will get the idea and write a little introduction to megaphone so people would understand what it's all about and how to use it PROPERLY

The listing navigation is confusing. It keeps showing listings below that are not related to what I am searching for.
I am new to Roomster and its a very convenient and safe way to look for stable living. I like the various selection that you can choose from. I'm in awe right about now. So glad that I clicked on it.
Too many glitches and issues with getting new messages
If you charge money for using your services, you shoud make sure you offer a decent product. In two weeks on the website I was getting only spam and generic messages, because nobody wants to pay for using it. My email is bombarded with these fake notifications that someone sent me a message, and I wasn't able to reach anybody so far. I got no value for money I paid twice.
I tried many times to pay without success...
So I contacted the "Help" which is just "automatic answers" which di not help...
They said to check my account, which I did several times, that maybe I had no money on my account... bla bla bla...
When contacting again... no reply...
So I used again Master card in case of Amex (which they said I can use use with "correct numbers & correct AVS"... thanks... but this I know:-(

Other websites dont charge me for wanting to read my messages. The layout is a little confusing as well.
It really does not feel good to sign up for the site only to find out that I have to pay just to see the messages people are sending me.

Concerned about billing and access as it says Canadian dollar but then says at end US dollar. So really price is different.

If you notice that Sitejabber has negative reviews of almost every company doing business in the united states. If it was all true, there would be no business left and everyone would be out of work. People never write good reviews, people love to be negative. Its sad.
