So far I HAVE TO ACCEPT cookies, and I, as a tenant, HAVE to buy a subscription to interact with specific landlords. But it is clearly landlords who have a vested interest/recurring need for an ongoing arrangement with you, as they have to keep coming back to access more tenants as the previous ones vacate their properties. So your business model seems to "sucker" tenants into a deal they're not keen on.

It's really stupid that I have to pay money to use the messaging feature on Roomster. There are loads of different websites that offer free messaging features and for some reason this one charges. I really don't understand it.
In comparison to other roommate sites it seems more polished, however I don't like that I have to pay just to message someone who reached out to me. I guess that's how the business makes money though.
Useless broadcast messages from outside the country clutter up my inbox. 99% of contacts are not related to my area.
