Roomster never works when I try to navigate the website.
If you restrict messages from being received until somebody coughs up some cash, that is pretty bleh. But to be fair, it is not that expensive.

So so, I'm finding that the people I do get in touch with or the very few inform me their room was rented at least two months or more ago and the add is still on the website receiving hits. Not actually being kept up to date if you ask me

I shouldnt have to pay to see messages, I understand there are allready barriers for free accounts, but I shouldnt be able to see and look at apartments and not speak with the owners
I need an option that says no pets. I have no idea how to search for other people in a meaningful way - there's so little to do. I also had trouble with my email, because there's no password reset and apparently someone has my email registered but I can't resolve that issue with a password issue, so now I've had to use a 2ndary email account with my phone number (which hasn't changed in 17 years)... Also adding the pictures was weird, if I click the + sign on a graphic, it removes the primary photo label. Pictures are sideways if they are portrait instead of landscape. That was in the first 5 minutes of use... willing to try this out, not very confident based on experience so far.
A lot of glitches in this sight. As I always expect potential roommates have a profile picture I ask anyone who messages me to have a profile picture and profile completed to proceed and many times they state they do but won't show up. And they have sent screenshots of their pictures and profiles to show they have them up. This sight does not provide a broad range of lifestyle questions to determine if the potential roommate is a match. Such as whether I prefer a male or female, whether they have pets or no pets, whether they have kids or no kids, the potential roommates perfect match for their roommate, if they prefer a shared bathroom or private. This sight as long as I have been on here has not updated any of these Preferences but has increased their prices. I'm sure it would not take any more technology just to add these few extras to satisfy the customer. Also had issues with verifying my phone number as apparently I had another account. Not sure how this happened and when I reached out to support they were not much help.
Having to pay to read my messages is the absolute worst
I pay the 7 day subscription to check out the app, and after 7 days the charge me with 30 USD for another 7 days... and gues what? Is a total waste of money, you can't find anything!

We have asked our many satisfied customers to post their positive experiences about Roomster to counteract the negative, and mostly untrue statements posted about us. If you notice that Sitejabber has negative reviews of almost every company doing business in the united states. If it was all true, there would be no business left and everyone would be out of work. People never write good reviews, people love to be negative. Its sad.
