I bought the leaf spring less than 1 year old it was already bad as if it had years of use, I asked for the warranty and they sent me a worse part than the old one I had, I returned the part and they sent me another bad part.
I got in touch with custom services and they don't really care to help. They tell me to cancel if I don't like the part and get a refund and they still chargee for each shipment of bad parts, it makes no sense for me to pay for their mistakes.
I've been getting parts from RockAuto for years and service used to be excellent. However, since they've gone completely digital, it sucks and I will no longer be ordering from them. I ordered a headlamp replacement bulb and it doesn't fit. I tried to do an exchange and the shipping cost is about the same as the bulb. I may as well just keep the bulb. I want to talk to someone to make sure I was sent the correct bulb but there's no way to speak, email or chat to a real person. Bye RockAuto. You just lost a customer with no customer service.
Sent the wrong part and I am out of luck and out of cash. You can't even talk to anybody about it. I bought a starter to have on the shelf as a spare part. Six months later I went to open it and it was the wrong starter. Passed my return date and you can't even talk to anybody about it. Not trying to return it for any other reason then the wrong starter was sent. Never ordering online parts again because this is why you save money because once they sell it to you if it doesn't work or doesn't fit you are out and they don't care.

Sent me completely faulty parts, expect me to pay to return them, plus pay to ship the new parts, also expect me to do this BEFORE they will issue a new set of parts. Condescending customer service, continually closed my tickets. Crap quality, crap service. Stay away. Not worth the hassle.
This company has terrible, terrible customer service! I bought a fuel hose and it leaked. I tried calling RockAuto a dozen times, no one answers the phone, you just get connected to "a recorded service"... They will NEVER refund your money... don't bother ordering from them... products are cheaply made and hoses leak!
Don't trust this company, they send you fake parts that don't fit. Then they make you pay to ship back the item.(this is where they make the money)
Just bought a starter for my 2011 dodge ram. Fits perfect. Didn't even have to use shims. Whew! I've never had any issues from RA anyway tho when it comes to returns. They did me a solid. Again.
Rockauto is a waste of time. The only quality parts you can get from them are usually found far cheaper elsewhere. The rest of what they sell is junk. And when you invariably wind up with a problem with the junk they sell, they do not stand behind any of the warranties and love to charge you for shipping despite the fact that it's their scewup or their junk that's at fault. And speaking of shipping, they love to rip you off with their multiple shipping fees that often rival the cost of the parts being shipped - typical middleman scam artists.
Case in point - I just refused a shipment from them that was supposed to take 3 days to get delivered. It sat in their "partner facility's" warehouse for three days before being shipped and showed up 4 days after it was supposed to. To add insult, I got an email 7 hours after I placed the order that told me it shipped out - but tracking clearly indicated otherwise. The customer got tired of waiting and picked up his car. I was charged $151 for the parts but only credited $121. No apologies. And they refused to honor their "we cover the shipping costs if we make a mistake" written policy. Scumbag company.
Never had a problem order my parts on a Tuesday they are on my porch within 2 days and a lot of times the next day their prices are a fraction of what auto parts stores are and for the name brand parts only people that complain are the ones who order wron part to begin with or buy something before it's delivered and have to send it back I always buy my parts from rock auto and will keep doing it!
So I sent 8 coil packs in for warranty as that was the original order. A week later they send me 1 coil, really? Wtf am I supposed to do with that? 5-8 emails, no reply, stupid website shows return for same order number quantity 1 when the original order shows 8, yep they screwed me, dont let em get you!
You buy parts from Rockauto.com they charge you a lot for the shipping if they send you the wrong parts like they do to me the charge me shipping for the returned part

Bought a fuel pump assembly for my 1995 Jeep Wrangler and installed it myself 18 months ago. Well, the pump failed, leaving me stranded at a really bad time. Had to spend $400+ having repaired ASAP. Screw these guys! Their warranty sucks! If I had the time, I would file a small claims suit against them. The gas tank must be drained and removed to install pump assembly. New parts should last longer than 18 months.
Just terrible customer service. Did not ship half my order, then when I reached out it took days for them to respond. They then did nothing to remedy the situation beside say sorry we will get it out to you.
I have ordered over a few years, always no problem until now. The shocks I ordered were correct, but one shock box had been taped, when opening the bushings and washers were missing. I am very remote and not able to wait on other parts to be shipped, had to modify old parts to complete the job.
Very dissatisfied and disappointed in there quality control to make sure all parts shipped are complete.
Not sure if I will order anything else.
Rockauto was given a tracking number. But according to tracking, he did not leave the country. Returned to the warehouse. Dhl says the seller did not send the parcel. Virtual track. Money is not returned. Scammers. Country of kazakhstan. *******456 track. Warrant *******. Rockauto scammers. Let people know
I submitted an order and realized I was missing an item. The shipping is very expensive so I wanted to get that item on my order. I tried to modify my order within 5 minutes of submitting it. The only thing I could do was cancel items. In the process of cancelling all my items, I was locked out because the remaining items were "In processing". So I was stuck with a half order. If I want to get the other parts I have to submit another order. I have went through the RockAuto interface and confirmed that because they have literally zero customer support it will cost my family $173.00.

I had an issue with rockauto as had the 1 million other reviewers who have left negative reviews. Stay away the lack of customer service and not getting my product the only solution was contacting my credit card company requesting a chargeback.
