I am getting the major run-around. I am beginning to think I will never get my money refunded for a return I made in October.
They have charged me for an item that I did not receive. They keep telling me they have sent a refund but refuse to provide the bank confirmation and my bank has not received the funds. The items that were received were such poor quality. Avoid this site, they're impossible to deal with and fraudulent.

Bought a dress intending to wear it for Christmas, got to the pay section and gave me an estimate arrival before my required date. Agree, Pay and voila it states there's a delay. Due to it being an $80 order, I wasn't happy with this and emailed straight after requesting to cancel the order. No response just an automated "Your product has been shipped" so I let it be knowing it'd be even more expensive to send it back when it gets here. I tried to track it for a couple of days only to see on day 6 that all the updates were put up at once and it was miraculously returned according to Shop, the recommended tracking app. Sent another email enquiring, low and behold, no response!
Do not order unless you are able to talk to staff in store if there even is one.

I find it very interesting that the only way to get a timely (or any) response from this company is to write a bad review. Let me recap: I emailed Retro Stage on 11/22 saying that I wanted to return an item because it is too small. No response. I email again on 11/26. I get an automated response about being out of the office until the 28th. I email back saying that this was my second email already. No response. I post a bad review on this site, and all of a sudden a response--and not a truthful one. You claim that you emailed me on the 28th "as promised," but you did not. I checked all of my folders, including spam, and no emails from your "customer Service dept" exist. And now, on this site you want to offer assistance? I already told you that the item is too small AND the second item mailed to me is also too small and I would like to return that as well. We might as well communicate here, as you won't email me directly.

I have written a total of 4 emails and one chat (that was never responded to). I received a generic email from "Sammy" claiming to be off for the weekend, but has yet to respond, and it's Wednesday over there. I need to return an item and cancel another. However, from the reviews I have read from other sites, it does not look promising. I'll be filing a claim with my cc company and complain to the BBB. Stay away from this Bogus company!
I've ordered from them a numerous amount of times and they always somehow manage to mess up the order. This time is the last straw. I ordered 5 dresses and only received 2. When I message them stating I never received it they basically called me a liar and told me to go to my post office.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Package never arrived, no way to contact them, unhelpful customer service, and the multiple links I was sent to track the package do not work. It seems legit while ordering, and as soon as you try to track your order, it screams scam. The tracking websites are fake. Avoid ordering from here at all costs!

I bought the Striped Colorblock Retro Bikini Set in large. The fir was loose on top but perfect bottoms which is what I expected because I'm pear shaped. I would love if you could mix and match bikini tops and bottoms to get the right fit. Otherwise it's a perfectly good quality bikini that looks as good as in the advertisement and my husband loves it too ;)

I spend over $250 and once the order was placed then updated the shipping to 30 days. I got an email saying "shipped" but the tracking info is saying "we have not shipped your order" buyers beware
I wore this dress to 3 functions this Halloween. The size is true to fit. I got so many compliments!
I love Halloween. And I love vintage style. So when I saw a Halloween themed vintage dress from Retro Stage, I HAD to have it. I work in senior care, and got a lot of compliments from my residents, who lived through the 50s. I was nervous about the quality and fit, but it is high quality and it fit true to size. I'll definitely order again!
I bought this green velvet dress for a formal event. The stitching is extremely sloppy, and there are even red threads in it in one area. But the absolute worst part was that the white lining from the seams is visible on the exterior of the dress! You could see it whenever I moved my arms. Who would wear that in public? When I asked for a refund they kept blowing me off and asking if I wanted to purchase something else instead. Finally, they offered a refund but told me I had to pay the shipping because 'it is normal to have threads inside the clothes'. Whatever that means.

Shame on this business and shame on paypal. I place an order, immediately email to cancel when i realize it will take too long to ship and it has been weeks at this point. No response from customer service in the last week, no shipping confirmation, no cancellation confirmation. If i could report my credit card under a fraudulent charge so they would get the point i would but paypal is similarly a disgrace. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS GARBAGE COMPANY! It fits great but isn't like the picture. The picture shows pleats in the front so I expected that to make it a full swing skirt as advertised. There are no pleats so it doesn't look right with a petticoat. The material is like a stretch denim and it's not pretty. The waist rides up so the seam is across my chest and I have to keep pulling it down. Just very dissatisfied over all. Going to try to dress it up with a waist cincher or wide belt to see if it can be salvaged.

I ordered 2 dresses, they said they arrived via the tracking app, they haven't. I tried to reach out and received an unprofessional repetitive email stating I may not get a reply for weeks.

I ordered a couple of dresses and although the post office says delivered, nothing came. I contacted retro stage and they told me i was SOL because the post office has it labeled as delivered. I have filed multiple claims with the post office without a response and have complained there more than once. I would never order anything from this retro stage again, due to this.

I was super excited to find the really cute retro clothes. I got the shoes first which seem to be okay, the clothes came second. They do not fit as they are much smaller than described. Unfortunately I have to say this company is a scam because they make it impossible to contact them or refund /return items.
The only way that you can return an item is to email them to have instructions sent to you. I've emailed multiple times and weeks have gone by with no response. I finally found a number on their site and of course no one answers. I was able to leave a message but not surprisingly, no one called me back. I started looking at other reviews online and found that this is a consistent problem with them. Very sad because the clothes I got sent seemed to be decent quality.

I order my daughter some dresses for the upcoming school year as I didn't want her to buy it from any "bad quality" store or websites. She shown me this website and I thought the dresses were absolutely adorable, and it's very much her style. We went all out and all in all we spent a total of 205 dollars, but at least we got a 12 dollar flapper dress from all of it. Anyways, we figured it would be here in a week and that was tops…it's August 20. It was supposedly supposed to arrive on August 8. My daughter checks the mail everyday, to no avail- the package STILL has not shown up. I can always see the heartbreak in her eyes as she really loves vintage fashion and was so excited to have these little pieces of history to wear and brag about at school. We follow our package everyday on the "Shop" app and everything about her package is so confusing…one day it's in Taiwan, the next day it's in California. And then BACK in Taiwan. If we knew then what we know now, we would have never made this purchase. Do not make the same mistake we made, I recommend trying Unique Vintage or if you know any others, let me know. This has been so disappointing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WEBSITE!

Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: It's coming from China and takes 60 days… they add a s"order shipped but it's not shipped… it's a scam sight. Call your bank and dispute the charges.
Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
