Be warned that the sizing is not accurate and the fabric has zero give in it. Buy a size up from your true size. I am so disappointed that I followed the measurement chart perfectly, and it was still way too small! I don't mean by a little bit either - I could not even zip it up at the top and I KNOW I ordered a Large 36.6" bust for my 35" inch bust. It took so long to get here that I can't exchange it in time for my event, and then started reading the returns policy which is a joke. I will not be ordering from here again.

I gave them more than 10 days to restock but it was running out of time to ship the dress to me.

Wish I could give this website a negative rating! My daughters senior homecoming theme was the 1950's era. She thought she had found the perfect dress on this website. I ordered the dress, paid for the expedited shipping and the order was confirmed on October 3,2019. It is October 23,2019 and the dress still hasn't arrived. 10 business days would have been October 17th. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews on this website or I wouldn't have ordered. Thankfully we were able to get her a beautiful 50's dress from a reputable business. DON'T DO IT!

This should be a 0... but i cant give that. I ordered a dress and a 4 peice (headband, gloves ect) set to go with my dress... saw that it was 6-10 day shipping... great. That gave me plenty of time if something went wrong... i was wrong... i had a party to go to on the 18th... my stuff showed up on the 16th... 3 weeks after i ordered... and it was the wrong stuff... when i tried to message about it i stated what the problem was... i got an email back that said here is ypur tracking numbers. They should be there soon or something like that... uhhh... i had it... it was wrong. I have now asked for a refund... and am getting no response... so i will be doing a charge back on my account. I wouldnt recommend this online store to friends amd i wont shop here again.

I ordered this dress for a military appreciation ball that my husband and I attended back during Veteran's Day Weekend. I ordered at the beginning of October and didn't think twice about it. Than I made the mistake of Googling reviews for Retro-Stage and became nervous. Everyone was crying and claiming they were scammed and that it took "over 2 months" for their dresses to come. Maybe that was their experience but it wasn't mine. My dress came within the time frame I was quoted - which was less than two weeks. It fit beautifully! I sort of got a bit of Princess Diana feel from this dress, seeing how it fit me. I felt so elegant and beautiful as we danced the night away. I even got a lot of compliments on how pretty my dress was. I plan on taking this dress on a cruise we are going on with my parents this coming June to wear on the formal night. The dress is great quality! I love how it fits and feels. It catches the light beautifully. I love Retro-stage and will be making future purchases. The dresses are reasonably priced and my experience is a good quality dress. It also helps that I love retro and vintage styles which is exactly what this company specializes in! 10/10 WILL buy from Retro-Stage again!

I bought a dress and underskirt during one of the deals about a month ago, and received an email saying it was out of stock. That was fine, I could wait as on the site it looked like a wonderful dress and I was excited to get it. When I did receive the dress (Tuesday 8th October) it was made from very cheap material, the top of the dress was fraying and had a hole in the lacework on the back. With the top of the dress, it wasn't meant to be made of lace, on the site it looked like a more solid flexible material but I could look past it being lace if it wasn't done as badly as it was. There was no elasticity to the top so it would have just hung limply around my elbows, the lacing on the top and around the sleeve edges was fraying or there were odd bits of string hanging off of it. The bottom of the skirt was made from what I can only describe as a shower curtain.

I have bought a dress from this site before and I think it was wonderful, I wore it to a family friends wedding and it felt like a quality made dress but this second order has made me lose faith that what I receive is a 50/50 chance of actually getting what I ordered or getting a cheaply made party costume.

And with the refund policy, to return the dress the customer has to pay the return shipping cost (which for where I am and where they are situated costs me around $40), and the dress cost $33.59 so don't expect to get your money back if you want to return a product from this site.

I really love the dress itself, and overall had a good buying experience. First of all, I had a great purchasing and customer service experience! Not only was it a great price but I accidentally ordered the wrong size. The customer service was very kind and held my order so that it could be sent out with the right size. Even though this delayed when the package was sent, it still came quicker than I expected.
I loved the dress as soon as I got it! I tired it on straight out of the package and even then it looked lovely. I was surprised at how nice and full the skirt was, even without a petticoat. The material is good too. Most of the dress is made of a cotton (like most vintage dresses) but the waist ribbon and halter neck tie are made of a silky ribbon material, which adds a nice touch to the dress and glams it up a little.
I can wear this casually and for going out, so it's very versatile. I love the pretty and classic look of 50's style dresses, and this is definitely the best online site I've tried! Will be buying more dresses from here in the future!
