I received great service and beautiful dresses from Retro Stage! When I ordered one item was out of stock but my query was answered quickly and extra effort was made to ensure my shipment reached me in time. Delivery time was quicker than I expected to South Africa! I got my dresses in time for the function and I absolutely love them! Will definitely order from Retro again!
The Dresses are beautiful and exactly as they look in the pictures. I bought a 1920's dress and was worried about the fit but they have so much stretch in them they fitted Just perfectly. They also arrived very quickly (16 Days) I am impressed and will definitely be a repeat customer - oh, that's right... I already am xxx

Buy from Amazon before you buy from this company. They carry a lot of the same items. Terrible return policy. Slow processing and delivery. I placed my order on November 5. I just received notice that it was shipped 7 days later. Now I have an 8-12 period wait for the shipping. I've given 2 stars because I accept some of the blame for not researching this company.

I absolutely LOVE my wine red beaded and sequined 1920s dress. I am a size "small" and the dress fits like it was made for me. I walked into the room of an event I was attending and a gentleman said "what a beautiful dress... you light up the room!" I am so glad I took a chance and ordered this dress... I my mind a dress of such quality and craftsmanship would cost $100 or more. I paid $35.98. I felt so elegant in that dress.
I would recommend your site and your clothing to anyone and everyone. I've already ordered another 1920s dress from you for new Year's Eve.

It came around a week after ordering, and looked great upon opening. It's pretty decent material, and the petticoat is as poofy as you'd expect one to be. It's a bit big though. Would love for you to make a size xs.
I totally got suckered into an instagram ad. Bought 2 dresses, 1 never showed up, 1 came 14 days after purchase which was too late for my event. Return policy you have to pay out of pocket. Total rip off. Go with Amazon Prime they have great stuff.

I purchased 2 dresses- 1950's Lemon swing dress and 1940's Navy Tea Dress. I bought both a size up and they are nearly perfect. Great fabric, sturdy with a little give. They hold their shape. And are soooooo pretty! I've paid way more through other dress companies, only to not be able to wear the dress later/nor return it. I'm happy with my RS purchase. I just know NOT to purchase if I'm in a hurry to receive the item. It does take awhile.

I ordered two head pieces for two of my bridesmaids and have yet to receive them. I placed the order on Oct. 8th and here we are Nov. 7th with nothing as of yet. I've tried reaching out to them and the number they have listed on their website is NOT even a valid number. When reaching out to them by email their response was "One of the items your requested has sold out". Seriously, they couldn't even reach out to me to let me know?!?! Not only that, the other piece that I had purchased was never sent out... They are quick at charging your cc, but not quick at sending the product out. Never again will I purchase from this company!

Paid for express shipping on order of Oct 23 and to date, evening of Nov 6, I have nothing. They refuse to give me a refund. They pretend items ship when they create a label. Then it goes to a black whole. Totally ruined my birthday when my outfit didn't show up. Buyer beware!

I ordered a dress on October 1 for an event on October 26. Plenty of time for the dress to arrive. I paid for expedited shipping. I kept checking the status of the order and it was still not shipped. I emailed the company asking about the delay. I eventually had to go on Amazon to order a different dress. I did not receive the dress from Retro Stage until October 31. I asked for a refund and they wanted me to pay for the shipping. The return department phone number they gave me was disconnected. STAY AWAY.

I would not comment on the slow delivery if the items were as described. I ordered two dresses, and the material quality was very dissapointing to say the least. The material is like paper, or better to say, like plastic. Would not recommend. I sent a mail to get a full refund if i return the items, no answer yet. If and when they get me a refund, the rating will go up a little bit.

I will be attending a fancy event in a few weeks and ordered a red sequin dress with RS. It looked amazing in the pictures but this is the first time I've ordered a fancy dress online so I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. I was pleasantly surprised!
The dress fit really well and I didn't need to make any alterations. Great value for money as well - similar dresses are four times the price in other shops.
I accidentally ordered two of the same dress so will unfortunately need to send one of them back but now that I've ordered with Retro Stage, I'll be happy to order again!

I got the dress earlier than I expected. Actually, before I have read some reviews about Retro Stage and I saw mostly not really good point, I started to feared, I afraid my dress won't be look good, late delivery, lost, etc. But after all, when I got my percel, I tried dress on me... OH MY GOD, it looks wonderful, fit me well, even my boyfriend said this dress is so beautiful and fit you well. I feel myself like the bride in that dress.
The dress is gorgeous and came a day early which is perfect because I needed it for Halloween and it came the day before.
Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: It's coming from China and takes 60 days… they add a s"order shipped but it's not shipped… it's a scam sight. Call your bank and dispute the charges.
Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
