I had been out of the job market awhile, though I had been staying current on my skills by volunteering. And I needed a job all of a sudden! Resume Genius helped me create a resume that gets noticed by the digital infrastructure because it's filled with relevant industry terms and has bot-friendly templates I can change all the time. It was AI assisted so I didn't have to come up with all those industry buzzwords and relate them to my experience. Then I got my resume reviewed by real people, and they offered really helpful advice that, when I implemented it in an edit, made my resume, with no paid work experience on it for the last 15 years, look amazing. I began to realize that I just needed to value my skills and experience more because they were there. I have already had a callback and an interview after applying for a job on Indeed with this resume, and I have been able to easily submit many different cover letters as well. I had an issue that I called customer service about, and they were very helpful. Resume Genius has made me feel more confident in my job search.

I wish it were easier to edit, but I feel great knowing its formatting is designed for screening software, and it's easy to use.
This was really helpful. I did not realize how different a resume looks like from 50 years ago.
