The software looks easy to use but apparently, when I tried to download it on the Word document it was very different and the layout was a complete mess. I have been told from the customer service I should have used Adobe PDF to have an exact same layout. The customer service was very good and helped me to correct the mistakes. I would say try to be patient for using this website because it might not do the job for you as quickly as you anticipated.

Everything about the site was great, the resume building was easy and all other tools worked great, it was just really difficult to cancel, and even after I had canceled I was still getting charged months later, come to find out, so I had to live chat and try it again. But other than that the customer help was incredibly nice!

Thieves

They steal from you around 17 per month. What is worse, they have bought all these opinions to keep on with their robbery, just try to look for the lowest qualifying opinion and you'll get an idea of what really is Resumenow. Don't buy their 1 CV or you'll end being stolen much more (125 in my case). On the other hand, their tips are pretty good, but it can't justify their policy.

We would like to provide you some information which may clear up any concerns about your account: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume and cover letter builder before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your resumes and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. In order to use all premium features of the service, we offer customers a 14 day access for $1.95 USD and we indicate up front that it will auto renew after the 14 day period and that it can be canceled at any time.
The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14-day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation e-mail stating the date and amount of the auto-renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including via phone, live chat, e-mail and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

Wonderful Service

This site is really easy to use. It gives you suggestions on what to put. The suggestions were things that I really would never have thought to put in my resume. The suggestions made my resume a lot better than what I would have ever done myself.

I found this site to be easy to use and it creates a very nice looking well organized product. You have to be a conscious consumer and understand you are paying for a service but it can be a valuable service.

I was dreading helping my son make his first resume, but then I tried out this site and it was seamless and easy. There was so many options for duty descriptions and I almost enjoyed it.

Then I tried to cancel the payments, due to not needing the service anymore, and the payment came out anyway. I got on the computer and talked to someone with "live chat" and they helped to cancel me and even gave me my money back for the latest payment. (the payment was taken out of my account that day). The representative I talked to was great and really understanding.

I will be recommending this site to anyone looking to make/remake their resume.

Absolutely Awful

First off, I clicked on the "free resume builder" link on Facebook and go to the site and spend hours getting everything exactly how I want it. Only to find out that once you finish you actually have to pay. Secondly, there were numerous glitches leaving large gaps in my resume it would not allow me to get rid of. There were sections I added on my resume that for some unexplained reason it wouldn't allow me to click on to edit. Some sections didn't even show up until I printed it. Would not recommend to anyone. P.S. Don't forget to cancel subscription.

Stopping service

Beware - this business does not cancel your service after your request and will continue to charge you. They won't refund the charges. Absolutely fraudulent and ridiculous business. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I was happy with the resume that was produced. It is very clean and professional. I was able to cancel the subscription right away, so that I wasn't charged after the 14 day trial at $1.45. I did so via chat. The individual I chatted with was very helpful.

Absolutely ridiculous

This website is just a scam waiting to happen. I was looking for a resume builder and stumbled upon this one. They say you can have a free 14 day trial and then cancel or else you'll be charged the monthly fee. After I had canceled, I was charged continuously until I finally noticed and when I called them. Customer service was terrible. I was put on hold for an extremely long time and the man I spoke with did not understand why I wanted to cancel and tried to tell me that their site is perfect for finding jobs. I said, "I am not looking for a job, I have a job thank you" and he continued to tell me how he can give me a discount which I continuously said no to. On the day that I was charged I called them and canceled the subscription online AND double checked over the phone. The next day I was charged again. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not use this website, don't even give them your email.

I signed up for this and had meant to cancel right away but unfortunately forgot and was charged $24.95 per month for two months and it would have continued that way had I not called to cancel for a total of $300 per year almost for this service. I waited on hold for 30 minutes before trying the chat option and getting someone there faster. I spoke with Patric who was friendly but not very transparent. I told him right away I wanted to cancel and that when I was on the site if I clicked cancel it gave me an offfer if $4per month or $24.95 per year! That is $20 less per month or the same annual price of a year as I was paying for a month if I decided not to cancel. I asked Patric to match my monthly fee to that offer before cancelling so that I would only be billed the same amount as the offset hey were giving to those that were cancelling. He advised me that I should accept the offer and then he could refund me so that my account didnt cancel. I asked if I needed to keep the account in order to get the refund d and he advised I did not so since I am not using it I cancelled. He came back with a prorata refund of $16 which is generated by the system. I asked him to clarify what was being prorated since in had paid $50 for two months and that is not pro rated at all. He then told me that he had explained this to me if I cancelled WHAT?!?! Anyways he just kept asking over and over if he could help me with anything else instead of explaining how then pro rate works there and telling me that the system does it... so thanks for the $16 credit but Im super confused and wont be back...
If you can charge me the same thing monthly you give someone per year if they want to cancel I think you are a fraud.

When I initially logged on to this site I was under the impression it was free when I finished with my resume it asked for payment of $1.95 okay not what I expected but that's a reasonable price, well come to find out I have been charged $19.95 a month for the past 2 months which was NOT specified. Now when I go to cancel it saying that I will be charged an additional time for the month delay of cancellation so all in all I'm roughly 62 dollars In an awful company that I used for all of 15 mins. Terrible company!

Billing and Chat experience

After I signed up for Resume-Now service with a two week trial period I knew I would not be able to afford the normal fee and went to cancel the evening before I was to be billed. When I attempted to do so I was greeted with other billing options, including a 3/ every 4 weeks option. Since I did enjoy using the program this fit my need at this time as I am currently unemployed and still looking.

After getting a confirmation of the change the wording, at least for me, seemed confusing as it indicated I had signed up for a $3 discount and not a $3 plan.

Today I contacted the support team via chat option and the agent, Rosa, was very helpful in allaying my concerns and confirmed I did have a $3/four week plan. She was also helpful in changing my incorrect email information.

All in all I say great job, but please look into the verbiage for your plan confirmation, and please give Rosa what ever positive feedback your organization gives for doing a great job.
