Very Helpful

This was extremely helpful in building my son's first resume. It had been a long time since I had built a resume and the guidance was very appreciated. I failed to read the fine print and didn't notice the monthly fee I apparently signed up for. I don't blame the company, it was my fault for not reading more carefully. I went back to my email and it was clearly spelled out. I simply contacted them and canceled my subscription hassle free (only because I didn't need all the wonderful services they provide, but I can see how they could be extremely helpful for some). I would recommend them to anyone needing help in building their resume and/or job hunting.

Not really free

This site says free resume builder, free templates, etc... but if you want to actually USE your resume, you have to pay. Cant download, copy, etc, unless you pay for it.
Free means free people, what good is it to build a "free" resume that you cant use?

The ability to print, e-mail or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription, these are NOT listed as features included with a free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free.

For the benefit of our users, we provide the option of a 14-day trial for a small fee. When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, you are automatically enrolled in our monthly subscription service, which we let you know at this stage that you may cancel at any time.

When we request your credit card information, we clearly explain that unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. The auto-renewal information is listed on multiple areas such as the sales page, payment page, processing the purchase and after the purchase on the confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation e-mail immediately after you complete your enrollment process stating the date and amount of the auto-renewal. (Automatic emails can get redirected to your spam/junk folder, so be sure to check these folders if you cannot find this email.)

I am very pleased with the service I have received today. I needed to update my Resume and make small changes. I went to download and was asked to pay 19.95 since my account has been cancelled. I spoke communicated with a chat agent by the name of Marianne and explained that I did not want to pay 19.95 to get an updated copy of my Resume as I paid the fee in the past and was not even using the services. Marianne emailed the updated copy of my Resume as a one time courtesy after looking into my account. I was relived and pleasantly surprised. Really needed this done today and Resume Now delivered. Marianne was very nice, prompt and courteous! Thank you so much for delivering excellent customer service in my time of need.

I found this site under FREE RESUME BUILDERS of course at the end they wanted my money. So I paid for it. The site said it would catch any critical errors... welp! It left words misspelled and worst of all didn't even save my history in dated order. When I went back in to make the changes they basically told me tough luck, I got what I paid for... A horrible experience backed up by horrible service

The site was intuitive. So different from the other resume sites. This one actually WORKS! I got my needed resume done in like half an hour to meet a deadline submission for an amazing job. The interviewer asked if I had copywrited my resume, thinking I invented it myself! She said it was better than the other fifty resumes she had read that week.

This is really a great service.

And customer support picked right up, spoke English, and gave me excellent help RIGHT AWAY!

I am impressed, and I do NOT impress easy.

It is sad that when you go looking for help to make a cover letter and it says free then they go and charge you. At first it is 14 days for $1.95 then after you pay this it states they will charge you $19.95 in 14 days. Wait what happen to FREE. Ok I don't mind paying $1.95 for 14 days to get help writing a cover letter of up dating my resume but a recurring charge of $19.95 every 4 weeks is insane.

I had a slight issue on my account, due to my error, and the customer service rep, Marianne Hernandez, helped me fix it! Very patient and didn't just say sorry, cant help you. Excellent service

I only used this service for the trial period. My situation changed so I was no longer interested in pursuing other career opportunities, but I was impressed with all the services they offered. They have several options of resume styles, all of which looked very professional. They offer cover letters, tips, and I think job opportunities. The person who helped me cancel the trial subscription was polite and helpful, offering me a reduction in price to continue it. I had been unaware that you can share the account so you could share it among family members. That makes it even more affordable! Joyce Jhonson was my customer service agent. High marks to her!

Very easy to use

I signed up for Resume-Now after suddenly finding myself jobless and in dire need of creating a new resume. I found the site extremely helpful and easy to use. I ended up getting a new job in a matter of no time! Unfortunately, I was unaware that I would be auto-billed once the trial was up. I contacted them via instant message and the rep I spoke to was very pleasant and immediately cancelled my account and issued a refund without much trouble. I would definitely recommend their service to anyone needing it.

After using Resume-now via their initial offer. Of which I was pleased. I noticed charges on my account going back 2months. Thinking I had signed up for just initial offer, I phoned them. I never recalled seeing cancel email; so there for the charge. After contacting customer service to make them aware of this they refunded 1 month as a courtesy. Customer service was very courteous but could not refund entire charges. Enjoy lunch on me!

After finishing my resume there was a large blank space between my education and my work experience. After trying for quite a while it became apparent that there was no way to fix it. I initially tried to get on line live help but the expert was taking forever. After being on line with him for approximately 10 minutes I didnt get past giving him my name. I had to ask a few times if he was still there. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I ended up logging out and calling instead. That expert was fantastic! He was very friendly and he went into my resume and fixed it right up for me. I dont see why there isnt a feature where I could have done that myself. If I ever have a problem or question I wont waste my time with the on line help and Ill go straight through to calling.
