The remote I ordered is not the same as I ordered and shown on their website. I tried to use it it the day I received using their posted information and some of the functions worked but not all of them making the replacement remote useless.
After contacting via email and multiple attempts by phone I entered a dispute ticket with Paypal. I received a quick response from Remotes.com telling me when I should receive the remote and if I was dissatisfied to return at my expense an they would reimburse me my purchase price but not the return shipping cost because I had opened the package. How does a customer know if something is functioning or is what they ordered without opening the package.
My suggestion is to avoid this basement fly by night company and find a better more reliable and honest company to do business with.
8/12/2024...THE UNIVERSAL remote model KT-N828 (made in china) I received was not compatible with my air condiitoner. The a/c model number - which I CLEARLY told them when ordering - is NOT even listed on the back of the remote control package. I sent e-mail for a refund and no reply from them.
I bought a two pack of remotes supposedly compatible with FCC ID KPU******* for a 2007 Mazda3, from remotesremotes.com. I followed the instructions on remotesremotes.com, and looked up better, more complete instructions on Google and YT. My original remote will respond to the programming, but both new remotes are duds. I replaced batteries in both - still duds. Over the last ten days, I have messaged and emailed remotesremotes.com - no response. Is remotesremotes.com a scam? Beware!
I bought key blanks with lock/unlock transmitters from this company for my car. I spent an additional $50 getting the blanks cut to work.
The remotes failed when attempting to program them through multiple attempts. I finally got one of the two to program but it would only work sporadically if holding the remote on the cars window.
They refused to provide functional remotes and only offered to let me return them without reimbursement for additional costs in-cured. I presented multiple replacement/exchange options that they refused. They even, at one point, offered a partial resolution but then refused when i asked to go that route.
I purchased keys from a different company that work perfectly. Remotesremotes is a scam enterprise.
Bought a remote for my Ford Ranger and couldn't get the remote to program. To send it back I have to pay postage. Postage was going to be $4.02 and the remote cost me $6.95 so I told them I wasn't going to send it back and I would just throw it away. Their response was "You should've read our warranty/return policy before placing an order from us." I'll never buy from this company again. I should have read reviews before I ordered.
Bought some remotes and they were damaged. I sent pictures to remotes remotes and asked for a prepaid return, and this is what they sent me:
"You should've read our return/warranty policy before placing an order from us. As clearly stated: "Customer is responsible for all shipping costs"."
Remotes didn't work. I ordered Wayne Dalton garage door remotes. I was sent something else that didn't work. No customer service representatives will answer to exchange or return items. BEWARE THIS COMPANY
I live in Western North Carolina and purchased two replacement fobs for 2013 Kia Rio. The product arrived on time and was exactly as described. No complaints there. NOW...good luck getting it programmed. When I did the locksmith search the 1st locksmith that popped up was Keevers Key in Hickory NC. This facility was ZERO help, stated that the product was crap, refused to program the "unsafe" fob and tried to sell me a $200 key to "Help me." After further research I did find a hardware store that now does key fob and key programming BUT they were unable to help me when I arrived because this fob required the 4 digit key code FROM THE DEALERSHIP. Do you think the dealership wants to give you that code...NO, they do not?! Now I have two remotes, no programming and going to end up spending the 200 to make sure my daughter has the fob needed to access and unlock her care safely while she is away at college this fall. Disappointed in the fact that when I contacted remotes remotes about the service provided by Keevers Key and no one acknowledged or cared that they are sending people to a facility that is refusing to service the product they bring and trying to upscale them and make a bigger profit on their end. Extremely disappointed in the process! Will no buy again!
They said the remote would work on my Ford Ranger. I bought two just in case. Followed their instructions to program to the letter. It cycled the door lock once immediately after the instruction and never work again. No part number on the outside of the remote should have tipped me off. I took my old one up to Wahlgreens and replaced the battery, mine works fine. Is this just another way to Rip off Senior Citizens?
Their website said the key fob case would fit a 2009 Jeep grand Cherokee circuit board. It did not fit in 4 different ways. They also said it was defective and that I should pay the shipping back to them. I refused to pay as the problems were all theirs. Their product also damaged my circuit board and they would not provide a new one. I had to spend 170 dollars to replaced my circuit board.
Many, many emails. They want me to pay 10 dollars to return 8.95 product that was misrepresented and defective. I asked for a prepaid RA label but they refused.
I bought 3 remotes from Amazon seller who sells remotesremotes products which came with their business card and all of them were fake product. When u press the buttons you see some light but it's doesn't make any frequency at all. Don't waster your time. I guess this company sells their products on amazon with different names.
Buyer beware! Ordered a remote, it was shipped to the wrong Address and returned to them by USPS.
I tried to get my refund buy they are givng me the runaround. I paid with Venmo card and they are saying i need to contact Paypal to get my refund?
Its a shame i need to spend time and effort for $19.99
Will not buy from Again!
Took money. Wrong remote. No refund. Horrible customer service when, if they do respond. Total scam.
I ordered car keys online from remotesremotes.com and they sent me junk that I could not use. I tried to contact them but they do not have a phone number listed. Tried to email them and I go a message that the email box is full. I looked up the address on Google maps, the pin is located in the middle of the road with no buildings around. Just crooks all the way. Beware!
They have no concept of client or quality. If the remote is defective it is your fault, if the remote doesn't work on your car it is your fault. For every email you have a 24 hs delay. They want to make money on Occident but they won't have a technician in this part of the world. Everybody should keep as far as possible from these "people". Their products are just garbage.
No service, no responses to questions and their website doesn't seem to work right. I tried to look up the programming for my key fob and there's nothing there for it even though I just bought one from them. The website programming page doesn't work now and they never responded to my email. Very disappointing company and I certainly will Not waste my time and money on them again.
I have patronized the organization twice, and each time found product needed at a very fair price. And received promptly with free shipping. Do not waste your time by looking elsewhere!
I believe they deliberately sent the incorrect fobs because they did not have stock knowing the chances of return is slim to none. Not only did they send the wrong fobs but the fobs had different chipsets. I found this out after going to three different locksmiths. When I emailed RemotesRemotes they basically gave me the finger. Use a reputable company. This company is scum.
I purchased a wall mounted remote for garage but never recieved. Seller said"Sorry We Can't help you!
Purchased 2 remotes to replace the one I lost. Remotes fail to advise that Ford and Dodge require BOTH keys to program your new key OR go to the stealership for $175.00 each OR find a key and lock company that can program them with a computer for and additional, in my case $45.00 above the cost of the keys from Remotes.
Truck now starts every time however both remotes do not stay programmed overnight. RemotesRemotes customer service now wants me to UNHOOK MY BATTERY FROM MY VEHICLE for 15 minutes and remove the batteries from the remotes for 15 minutes instead of replacing or refunding.
In my opinion these are JUNK and their NO HASTLE is nonexistent.
