Ordered 1 case, 1 remote and 1 more remote for another car. They sent me the wrong case completely, The first remote I ordered according to their catalog is the wrong one and will not program to the vehicle. They still say it is correct after I did the research and gave them the correct number they should have shipped me Never got around to programming the remote for the other car. Asked for a refund, they agreed but want me to pay shipping for their mistakes. Gave them 1 star because no stars was not an option.
I don't understand the low reviews as my experience was great. My garage door opener went out as I've had it for about 20 years. I had a hard time finding another Sears garage door opener (even Sears didn't have it) because of the age. I came across RemotesRemotes.com and they had the EXACT remote (not similar or universal but the exact remote) I needed. The price was great and I was able to track my delivery which did not take long, even in Covid times. Once I received my remote, I easily programmed it and it works great. Since this deal came with two identical remotes, I plan to keep one as a backup. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them!
We ordered keys and never received them. When we contacted customer service, they said, 'oh well, they were delivered to your neighbor as requested.' What? We would NEVER request anything be delivered to our neighbor... if you can stick it in their postal box, you can stick it in ours! They are very dismissive, so we are out the money with no keys I guess. TERRIBLE customer service. Possibly a great product if it gets delivered, but if there's a glitch, customer service is useless.
I purchased 2 09 Prius Smart Key Fobs from Remotesremotes.com
One programmed successfully the 2nd would not program and had a broken hard key release. I have 2 other Priuses. The locksmith is one I have used multiple times for multiple Types of Vehicles. The technician worked for over 15 min trying to program the 2nd remote.
The only way to contact customer support for RemotesRemotes is via Chat or email. No direct CS number to call. They provided an RMA# but I had to send back at my expense. I then had to supply the tracking number via email reply. They indicated they would send a replacement unit but instead just issued a refund for exactly $100. No considerstion for my incurring the return cost. Once the refund was issued I contacted Customer support via chat again. They said I would need to purchase the replacement. The price for a single unit was of course slightly more than the refund, but the agent gave me a 10% off discount code. I executed the additional unit via a 2nd transaction. I recieved the new unit. The key hold mechanism was sound on this one but after another 30 min drive, 19 mile trip to my locksmith the aftermarket Smart Fob would not program. I contacted CS via chat a 3rd time. Got a new RMA # and requested a refund this time, not an exchange. Today I sent back the 2nd bad Key Fob, once again at my expense.
So... 2 out 3 Units recieved were bad and would not program, a 66% failure rate.
So Caveat Emptor. I don't see this Particular Web Vendor being successful in the long run because they sell inferior aftermarket products and their Customer Support infrastructure is laughably poor.
1 star is for 1 unit being OK
Received my key fobs and tried to go to their website and to programing the page doesn't work so he surprised it the product actually works and based on what I read would cost more to return it then throw it away :(
I had ordered a key fob for my new car, and although the shipment arrived a decent time. The customer service definitely wasn't! The people there are rude, and end the call instead of letting you talk to ask questions or for help!
Ordered these remotes because they had "RED" ones! Went to to program them, got bounced around a bit. My phone wouldn't show the whole page. Went to my laptop and couldn't open the programming page. So, I tried just looking up my product. The instructions were at the bottom of the page. Went to my vehicle, followed the instructions. Boom! Done!
I bought a remote car key from Remotes Remote, but the car key never worked. I programmed many times and always failed. Remotes Remote told me to go to Honda dealer for special programming. I went to a local Honda dealer and paid for programming. The Honda dealer found out that the remote car key cannot be programmed. It is very bad experience of buying the remote car key from Remotes Remote. Waste money and waste time.
I purchased 4 remote keys, the first two didn't work so i purchased 2 more. Tried ever posible way to program them. They never worked. Read my owner's manual, downloaded directions, watched videos, locked doors, stepped on the brakes. Nothing ever work
Their website will mislead you through their search options to sell and send you the wrong part. They will then make you jump through hoops to return such wrong item and your shipping cost. Do not give this horrible company your business, Amazon had the same part dollars more and would be happy to fix their mistake. Save your time, money, and stress. Hopefully I get my purchase price back
I ordered a remote almost 3 weeks ago paid $28.00 extra for 2 day delivery. Still nothing the USPS tracker says it will be here a week and a half ago by 3:00 PM... Wish I could just get my money back. Already had a locksmith fix my old remote. Worst business I have dealt with. No concern for customers!
Well. I have had excellent customer service with this company but that is all, because the remote has not ever worked at all. I replaced the batteries twice. I took it to the car dealer and no hopes there as they told me it was an inferior product, and then I took it to best buy stereo installer and he said it will not function. So after googling and carrying on all during covid, I have finally given up and now the window for return is over. $50. Gone forever. They will not return my money, there is no supervisor to speak with and guess what... no feedback or reviews can be left on their website. I do not recommend this company at all.
I ordered 2 remotes for my Lexus - I could not get them programmed - Brought the car and the remotes to the Dealer - I had to pay to get 2 key cut and 2 remotes programmed. They could not get the open trunk feature to work on both remotes. Explained again to Customer Service - They did nothing. Did not get back to me and one of the agents - only disconnects you from chat. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY ARE THEIVES.
They sent me a defective remote. It NEVER worked, even when I replaced its original battery with a new one! Complete junk. WORSE, they *refuse* to send me a pre-paid return label even though *their* remote never worked! Terrible "Customer Service" that's given me the run-around even after I supplied them with the name and model number of our garage door opener AND a photo of their opener... BOTH OF WHICH THEY REQUESTED! ***DO NOT BUY FROM THIS *CRAP* COMPANY***
Don't let the low prices tempt you. I ordered a key fob for a 2012 GMC Terrain. I received the item and it wouldn't work. I contacted support and they said while it works on some 2012 GMC Terrain's it doesn't work on mine. They refused to refund me the cost of the item and shipping.
I'll tell you they are the worst bunch of people, "unworthy" of calling
Themselves "SUPPORT".
I HAVE GIVEN ALL OF THE INFO THAT YOU NEEDED. STILL NO HELP. After 5 days of 11 emails back and forth still no more programming help other than the "1" procedure on the web page. "NO OTHER OPTIONS" OR "TRY THIS", JUST A COMPLETE RUN AROUND OF NO HELP.
I WILL BE SURE TO GIVE YALL A "1 STAR" RATING.
TO HELP FUTURE CUSTOMERS OF MAKING A MISTAKE BY PURCHASING FROM YOUR
COMPANY.
Have not received any response to my return. Still have my money
Was asked to return the remote that would not program.
Only was able to program key to start vehicle will not operate the locks the keys were cut and will manually unlock and lock doors
Bough two sets of transponder key blanks and fobs for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe for $21.95 on WalMart.com. Fobs programmed in less than 3 minutes. Key blanks cost me $10.00 to cut at locksmith and took me less than a minute to program both. So ended up with 2 sets of keys & fobs for under $35. Auto Zone wanted $85 for key blank and I still had to get it cut.
All 3 of key fobs Worked as Good as Factory Keys. Ease to order. Very Reasonably Priced and Shipping is Fast
