Regus Reviews Summary

Regus has garnered a largely negative reputation among its customers, with frequent complaints about hidden fees, billing issues, and poor communication. Many reviewers express frustration over the difficulty in canceling services and the lack of responsiveness from customer support, leading to feelings of being misled and trapped in contracts. While some customers appreciate the local staff's friendliness, the overarching sentiment is one of dissatisfaction, particularly regarding management's failure to address concerns effectively. Overall, potential clients are advised to exercise caution and consider alternative coworking options that prioritize transparency and customer service.

Total crooks
January 14, 2021

1* because there is no option to give minus 5!

Regus will charge you invalid fees and then late payment fees when you dispute them... And eventually lock you out. You cannot dispute their invoices because their accounts team don't respond and they don't have a complaint process or department. So you just have to accept their bullying and pay the incorrect fees.

If the heating breaks they will tell you that heating is non contractual!

DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH REGUS. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Terrible company!
January 5, 2021

Avoid if you can! Terrible customer service and cold blooded corporation. I really regret that I signed a two-year contract with them. No one will return your phone calls or emails and the receptionist and sales people you see in the office do not have ANY authority to resolve any issues.

This company is probably the most dishonest i have seen...
Totally unprofessional and dishonest... did i say dishonest already?, they tried numerous times to grab money from my credit card without authorization and justification.
Money that i do not owe them... as a matter of fact they still have a full month retainer fee
That they owe me...
Good thing i had my credit card under surveillance and they were blocked from doing anything...
Anyway, shortly they will receive a formal notice and i will go of my way to tarnish their name...
A very sad company that should be out of business

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. I have been a member for some time, and have a consistent, recurring problem that they will not address. I have a monthly subscription where I pay a single monthly payment, which allows me to reserve office space at no additional charge. Basically, it allows me to work from a Regus office anywhere in the world to work. Handy for a road warrior like myself. HOWEVER, even though I have a monthly subscription, I am billed for any office space I reserve. It's as though I have no subscription. Regus double bills me every day I use an office, requiring me to call them to reverse the charges EVERY DAY. As I write this, I have been on hold for 26 minutes waiting for a customer service rep. Every day. I have been reaching out to them FOR MONTHS, have submitted multiple emails, tickets and phone calls, and NO ONE seems to care. Why bother with a subscription? Well, I can't get out of it since NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE. They have a complete and utter lack of regard for the customer.

Head for the Hills
December 28, 2020

We have sadly been with Regus since 2013. We are a seasonal business and up until this year it worked for us. They are requiring a TWO month retainer, which is almost $4000! Yes, we do get it back, however for a small business this is substantial amount. We have never had a late payment in the 7 years we have been there, which accounts for nothing. The part that upsets me, is that we signed a contract for what we were to pay. After several attempts back and forth- the contract doesn't stand and they are going to deduct a higher amount. Why have me sign a contract if you aren't going to keep your word? Thanks for your services, we will make sure we don't recommend you and take our business else where. Note- they are similar to Spirit Airlines.

Class action
December 20, 2020

I am filing a class action lawsuit on this company first thing on Monday! I ordered a 30 day "month to month" membership and canceled it online TWICE over a YEAR ago and they continue to BILL ME! FURTHER I contacted their "Regis help desk" who agreed to resolve this bs and yet another damn bill! I'm going straight to the top on this one and all over social media. They are DONE! After seeing how many people they have done this to, this is now a matter of principle!

I had agreement for a year to hold on to my mail, during the year not singe mail I got - after the year during Covid, I made every monthly payment.
After contract is over, they still charging me postage charge. No one picks up the phone. I will dispute the charges. It is mazing how people take our energy to get our right back - they even put their email address with mistake so when you replay, it does not go throuogh.

Horrible company, no manners, poor customer service, and steals money. Fake and don't care how they treat anyone. I'm letting everyone know from BBB to every social media platform, local businesses, until Regus.com is gone for good. They lie and website does not even explain in depth what is going on. Then when you try to reach someone they dont care and will talk to you in anyway they want.

Don't Waste Your Time!
November 12, 2020

F you are looking for a space to rent or a place where mail can be delivered, look elsewhere! I have never worked with a company that found so many ways (i. E. contract loopholes) to separate you from your money. From hidden fees to collect mail or secure space or schedule meetings, to an accounting system that is so archaic it needs to be put on life support! They make you sign this contract for services but literally EVERYDAY, there is a new charge for something frivolous that should be included in the fees YOU ALREADY PAY! Don't waste your time... shop elsewhere. And for companies looking to create disruption in this market... be very clear, REGUS is an easy mark! With very little effort, you can win business from this company because of the poor way they treat their customers! Even slightly better service would be a win, for a new company willing to come into this market!

Regus payment fraud
November 9, 2020

I wanted to share my experience that I had with Regus. I started a virtual office service on Nov 1st, 2016 at their Knightsbridge location at Piscataway, NJ. I signed up for a two-year contract for a monthly payment of $65.00. I requested them to sign me up for the automatic payment of my monthly bills.

On Nov 1st, 2017 they increased my monthly payment to $67.60(4% increase from $65 to $67.60) without any notice.

On Nov 1st, 2018 they auto-renewed my contract and increased my monthly payment to $85.00 (26% increase from $67.60 to $85.00).

I would like to point out if you read their "Virtual office house rule" document under section 28 "Annual Indexation" it clearly states that rent increase should be CPI(Consumer price index) or 4% whichever is greater. CPI in 2017 was less than 3%.

I reached out to their office manager in March 2019 and asked them to cancel my contract. They refused to cancel and told me that I have a contract with them till Oct 31st, 2020. I sued Regus in the small claims court in Middlesex County, NJ and came out of the contract. I hope my experience helps other business owners who are stuck with them.

A point to note this company Regus systematically breaks the contract by raising the payment more than 4% annually without any tenant authorization and they increase the payment at will. Also, there is a clause in the Regus contract "Agreement to Arbitrate: Class action Waiver" which protects Regus against a class-action lawsuit from the fraud they are committing.

I would recommend my fellow business owners to stay away from this company Regus.

Poor customer service
November 4, 2020

Avoid Regus. Their customer service is very poor, they fail to respond to calls and emails. There are many hidden miscellaneous charges, for example restoration fees, which are not in the agreement. They hold a security deposit for months after the customer moves out.

This is the worst company ever. Absolutely terrible customer services. I've canceled my account and have been charged for 4 straight months after. When I call the location I was in they defer me to corporate. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS the phone and they do not reply to emails.
