Please be aware when u are booking with them i booked my trip to cancun mexico and I choosed 2 room with THEM AND when i got booking confirmation it was only 1 room in reservation this was so surprising movement and we booked again from pricline again we spent $800 this was my personal expreience please do not book with them
Worse experience of my life, i booked a departure from montreal and it automatically changed it for departure from toronto... a way for them to charge me for insurances and extra cancellation and rebooking fees of over 300$

I booked a hotel that stated fully refundable. I had a family emergency and had to cancel the hotel, and they charged me a site administration fee of 120.00.
Mother-in-law whom spoke with a redtag agent was boldly pressured into buying a vacation for middle of March 2023. Told better book now, or may not get a vacation. We've found out on our trip we literally paid 2, or even 3! Times as much as other people we met at resort did. PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE BY AGENT Louise Wheeler! Stay away! I tried calling her to say, in a lack of better words? How could you? She basically said nope I didn't? I just said lucky to get one if you don't book it now? (That wasn't pressure to her) so my 67 year old Mother-in-law paid over $23,000! To go to Cancun from Toronto for one week, to a very horrible looking place, horribly rude staff and food that put us all in the bathroom for a lack of better words for hours each day we ate there. STAY AWAY FROM REDTAG.CA! Places and people like this mentally and physically make me sick!
Customer service at *******824 (most likely from India) They are there to NOT HELP YOU. Booking Ref # is said not valid. Numbers only or just letters only. You never get past that point. Can't help you till you find "CORRECT" Booking reference Number.
Please DO NOT use their service. Took over 3 hours to get a CSR on the line to tell me I had to pay $150 charge for cancellation even though the website clearly indicates it's a Free cancellation up to 5 days before the trip
I have beena long time customer of Red Tag and have been happy with them in the past. I tried to book an all inclusive vacation package there the last few days and the posted price always jumped $75 to 150 per person when you click to book. We checked a few other destinations and package providers but all were the same, jumping prices. We decided to book so we filled out the info and payment as we just wanted to be done with it. Luckily the order page crashed and we had to re-search the package and attempt to re-order. This time the searched price was the already increased price so we thought at least it may have been a legit increase. Clicked to book and low and behold - jumped another $200. We thought this is BS. We opened the site on a different computer and it showed the first cheap price that we started with originally (and now days later the site still shows the pricing that you cannot buy.)
So we thought this was pretty questionable business practices and we looked elsewhere and found Flight Center. Did a search, same dates, property, flights and provider and came up with the identical posted price that red tag wouldn't sell at. Clicked book, and completed purchase without issue or price changes.
Obviously Red Tag has programmed some price manipulations into their system. A previously reputable company for us, maybe now under some unscrupulous new management? I don't know, but I will be using flight center going forward.
Been waiting on the phone trying to get a hold of an agent to make adjustments to a name change.

I have been waiting for over 3 hours now to talk to an agency and still nothing. It didn't not allow me to add my child on the purchase so I am calling to get help on getting my son on the plane. I'm so disappointed. Maybe need to hire more staff because the wait times are not possible for busy mamas like me who can't just sit around waiting. Please do better.
Let me start by saying I have used Redtag for over 15 years and up until now, I have been totally satisfied with their service. Representatives have always been helpful and courteous. I drive from Buffalo to Toronto because I like the direct flights that Buffalo does not offer.
This Christmas was an exception. Buffalo suffered the worst snow storm in decades and a state of emergency was declared as well as driving bans and border closings. Because of this it was impossible to even consider getting to Toronto. Southern Ontario also suffered from the storm but not the metro Toronto area.
Being US citizens we are not eligible for travel insurance… not sure why… but this is always the case. After talking to the airlines (aircanada) and the travel company (Red Label) as well as Redtag…nothing could be done. We lost our entire package. No refund. No compensation… nothing. Needless to say I will not be using these companies anymore. I realize I should have considered the no insurance gamble… but these were extreme conditions out of my control that could never have been foreseen. Our bags remained packed for several days as the driving ban continued for 5 days. Merry Christmas.
I don't have a reservation number because your website didn't book my actual vacation. That's the whole point. When I clicked "book" on the website, yoru website returned a random error message. And no, it was not due to my credit card. My credit card was charged 4,630.00 just fine.
What's absolutely worse: the fact that the vacation is due to leave on Jan 8th, 2023. The problem with this whole thing is that you rejected my vacation, but statement hold still applies to my credit card.
This means that until Sunwing releases the statement credit (which could take 2 weeks), I don't have enough credit limit to book another vacation.
You guessed it - I won't be able to book my vacation until Dec 25th, potentially. This means that I have to book 1-2 weeks in advance of a popular time to go to the Caribbean. In fact, we already lost out on our first choice.
In case you can't tell, you guys royally $#*!ed me over. I paid for the $#*!ing vacation and your website just out of nowhere said NOPE.
I called your service desk, and your agent was beyond useless. He was rude, unempathetic and said "We can't help you. You need to wait for the refund to process in 2-3 weeks". I called the bank. They said it was on Sunwing's side. Finally, I called Sunwing and they said, there is nothing they can do.
I received conflicting information, poor service and most importantly, no offer for a resolution. The card is charged. You should have just offered to book me another vacation but you guys are callous, uncaring and just continued to $#*! over an innocent customer.
From the absolute bottom of my heart, $#*! you. I can't wait to take this to the BBB and cause you the pain you caused me.
I booked a vacation through Redtag.ca and It was the biggest mistake ever. Clearly I choose YYZ which is the code for Toronto International airport as departure but I don't know how did that happen and found it exactly 4 hours before our flight that our departure was Ottawa. We drove 170 to 180 Km from Toronto to Ottawa at 2am to catch our flight. We were so lucky we did not get pulled over by the police and we got to to air-port less than a minute before they close the gate,I called the customer service and they were closed, I also emailed them 2 times when we got in Mexico and its been 72 hours since i sent them an email and still no response.
Red Tag sold us a resort that is supposed to be an exclusive section of a regular resort, but the resort is 2/3 closed due to fire. At the time of booking, the website stated all amenities were open - that we would have access to 3 pools, 6 a la cartes, 3 buffets, multiple bars. After some research after booking - due to the fire (again not mentioned anywhere on RedTag at time of booking) only 1 pool, 1 buffet, 1 a la carte was open. As soon as I came across this information, Red Tag demanded hefty change fees and stated "the closures from the fire have no effect on guest vacation." When you choose a resort because it's big and has variety - this definitely has an effect on your vacation, and based on the reviews I've seen from other guests, I would say more guests side with myself that this does in fact negatively effect one's vacation.
Do not book through red tag for vacations.
You will not get your money back on flights.
I booked hotel and flight. I noticed vegas.com way cheaper no commission.
They charged me 1200 for a flight there n back from yvr to Vegas! They offered to refund my hotel because it was only 460. I can book my hotel and flight for 600 through Vegas.com
WOW Still on hold after 3.5 hours and i was 7th in Queue. How few Customer Service Reps do they have available to answer calls if they are taking this long to serve 6 customers...?
I bought 7 All-inclusive packages and Insurance to go with it for our family. One of the Insurance Policies has not been sent to me and I need it as 1 family member is very aged. I called a week ago the agent that sold the packages and got her voice mail after I had previously sent an email and didn't get a reply. I never heard back from my voice mail message and her voice mail greeting states that she is away from the office until Oct 13th and it is now Oct 17th
No other option to call her back up contact... just a 1-800 # and I've been oh hold over 3 hours

I booked a trip I have no emails from them to prove it other than a screenshot of my confirmation #, and I've been on hold up to 1.5 hrs 5x and can't get through. I also emailed them and no response at all they honestly must have 1 person working there. I will never book again!
Compramos en Red Tag un paquete al Kristal Grad Hotel San Jose del Cabo es una pesadilla, terrible experiencia con todo incluido, arruinó mi luna de miel de $ 1500 CND por persona.
No puedo aconsejar lo suficiente a la gente que no se quede en este hotel, hay muchas razones por ello.
El hotel está lleno todo el tiempo, las instalaciones son demasiado pequeñas para la cantidad de personas que reservan. Por lo tanto, debe hacer fila para todo, las bebidas y la comida. Las colas son muy largas para lo básico, no hay suficientes piscinas ni nada que hacer realmente. No se puede nadar en el océano y no hay playas cercanas para ir.
Parece que a la administración solo le importa que la gente entre y salga lo más rápido posible para ganar dinero rápido. Las habitaciones están sucias y en mal estado.
El personal es lo suficientemente amable, pero generalmente está de mal humor y con una actitud terrible, lo cual puedo entender, ya que no obtienen suficientes recursos del hotel para satisfacer a tantas personas.
Además, este hotel se dirige principalmente a turistas nacionales, no extranjeros, había un 95 por ciento de huéspedes mexicanos mientras estuvimos allí. Parece que tienen gente organizando grupos de familias mexicanas de todo el país pagando precios baratos, por lo que tienen que darte comida y bebidas baratas y en cantidades muy limitadas.
En general, nuestra experiencia fue terrible y recomendaré a todos los turistas nacionales e internacionales que busquen una mejor opción. Hablé con otros huéspedes y todos estaban extremadamente descontentos con la comida, el servicio y el alojamiento.
Básicamente, salimos del hotel y buscamos cosas que hacer y un restaurante donde comer bien sin estar en línea o pelear por la comida con el otro huésped.
Viajo con todo incluido a Cuba y fue una experiencia mucho mejor en todos los aspectos, incluso cuando ellos tiene acceso a menos recursos.
Mire las reseñas antes de decidir reservar este hotel, le aseguro que no lo disfrutará.
Did not get travel documents on time. You have to wait more than one hour if you contact them by phone.
Booked the wrong date for hotel by error. Called to try to change the date or cancel so I can rebook. They refused despite booking being 7+ days in advance. Most hotels have a no cancellation policy within 24 hours. Ridiculous that they wanted to keep the full amount and not provide any other solution… they even refused to accommodate a credit or provide a partial cancellation fee. What a scam! First and last time I will be using this site!
Worst company ever the way they handle the COVID-19 refund I would never referred this company to anyone stay as far away as possible from red tag
Answer: No they do not. I've had a price drop and they found a way out - turns out i paid for an upgrade and hence was not eligible for any price drop guarantee.
